Chronos knew that Hero wouldn't let her go out to patrol Barren Pines alone, despite whatever she said.
So, the Princess Senshi had decided that she would do this with Virgo instead, and assured Hero that they would be both fine, and that she should stay to take care of Aurelia. It was hard to reason with someone Hero was so deferential to; she was still unused to the other calling her ma'am.
Chronos was happy, still rather happy after they had found Virgo, as evidenced by the smile on her face even as they strolled around the school. Even as they were supposed to be looking out for other zombies who were hopefully not attempting to eat those who were alive...or at least looked alive. Or maybe that voice would come back again and she would find another senshi. Who knew?
"D'you know how many of our schoolmates became zombies?" She asked Virgo. The only one she had seen was Elke, who was also Virgo. On the contrary, Elke had been wandering about the school while they were hiding, so she would know, right?

Virgo, meanwhile, was having fun just... walking. "Well, Princess," said Virgo cheerfully, "I didn't really see too many people? I know that Andeon is out stabbing zombies in the face with vodka bottles, and Piper, Yahya, Sue, and Zeke are all in a group together, and also Calintha is a zombie. Giselle too." Her near-omnipresent smile faded for a moment. She still hadn't found Avery, or Sebby, or Yvette - a lot of people. That would be her goal, she decided, to find the missing people. Aside from assisting the Princess, of course.
"So, out of the seven people I met, two were zombies, but I bet it's higher than that." Bad news, delivered with a smile: Why else would you ever talk to Virgo? Other than her incessant and somewhat irritating love of Life In General. "Because a lot of people didn't seem to make it out? Oh! Giselle said Sebby is a zombie too. You know Sebastien, right?"
Virgo: also very talkative.

As much as hunting had helped, or not helped, Ignacio was still starving. Starving for flesh, starving for answers, starving for life. While his stomach was determined to turn him otherwise, a determination had settled into his somehow functioning brain, a determination to set things right again as it was and come back to his old humanity.
His mantra: All actions had an equal and opposite. If he could become undead from being living, he had to be able to become living from being undead. It was that simple.
He just needed to find out how.
And so the seemingly human freckled self-described immortal found himself outside once again, scouring the grounds for any clues, any signs of humanity, anything that he could take back and report to Grayson. He was the only one Ignacio had found on this Apocalyptic Campus so far, and Ignacio planned to keep any connections he had tight and bonded; with another person he had someone who he could bounce ideas off of and help him not become distracted from his intended goal.
Ignacio brought his eyes to the sky and couldn't help his smile at the glowing sunlight. It was so beautiful. He could vaguely feel its warmth against his skin. Despite the fact that looking right in the light was a little blinding, Ignacio didn't care. He wanted the good feeling on his skin and he wanted the good feeling deep in his bones where the light never reached.
...Stop staring at the sun, 'Nacio. There were clues to hunt.
As he brought his eyes back down, he noticed two people walking together wearing incredibly odd outfits. One was holding a staff, another was wearing a dress, and they both had bows and incredibly odd brooches. One thing was for sure either way, their skin was not green. It was glowing.
And though his stomach growled in annoyance, Ignacio fought it down for another hunt: the hunt for information. Had he found some?! Had his determination worked?!
Ignacio dared to venture closer, putting his hands up in the air--albeit shakily thanks to the disturbing urges that bubbled up as he got closer and closer to their delicious, tender flesh and their glowing, healthy skin--to signify that he wasn't going to attack. And without even letting them acknowledge him, the questions came spilling like a rapid waterfall, almost as if he was trying to get them out before his mind shifted tides again. "You're alive. Can you help me? How did you--? Why did this happen? What do you know?"

Nealite had almost missed the duo at first, having been distracted with her current game of tag, zombie student edition.
Her head turned as she noticed the two girls strolling around Barren Pines as if they owned the ******** place. Eyes narrowed as she recognized the two for what they were, and she scowled.
Senshi. On her campus?
Charonite had mentioned rumors of a Zodiac. Rumors. But two? There was no way they could have come from the outside, not with the barricade that was around the school. Which could only mean they'd come from the inside.... ******** boots sauntered across the building's rooftop, the Captain quickly forgetting the unfortunate youma who'd been subjected to her cruel toying only minutes earlier. Her sights were set on much larger prey now, her mirror quickly solidifying in her gloved hand.
This... this could be tricky, two senshi versus one Negaverse agent. But she was a Captain, right? And surely these two were easy targets, greenhorns without some ******** cat with laser beams to b***h instructions their way.
In the back of her mind, she recalled Charonite insisting she stay protected, that she keep herself out of harm's way. Too important to ******** lose, he'd said, acting as if she were some goddamn china doll to keep stored away. Well, she had youma, right? And he had told her to take out senshi if they had the gall to show up on campus. Hmmm...
One hand moved to brush her hair back as she leaned over the edge of the roof, her eyes never leaving the approaching senshi. One eyebrow rose as a student, from out of ******** nowhere, appeared and began stumbling his way over towards the duo.
My, my...what was this?
Nealite grinned, a plan already forming in her mind. Things just got a bit more interesting, it seemed.

Azzo wasn't far away. Unfortunately for him. He was under a tree sulking, unlike the typical Azzo that had came to Barren Pines, he was now a mess. Granted Zombie like, he had also on his mind three deaths.
Ignacio, Kimmie, and... Melody. His head swirled with how they died, each one more horrible than the last, Melody, the most innocent of all of them. The tears where long gone, his eyes dry. However he shuttered when he heard the words Live Two different voices echoing it, Melody and that orange haired Negaverse Officer.
For the hundredth time today he finally got fed up with the voices and hearing them, however something new pierced his ear, it was Nacio's voice... But it wasn't the one swirling in his head. His eyes grew wide. "No...." He murmured, "No it can't be...."
He stood up and looked around, he thought he'd caught a glance of something on the roof of one building, shaking his head he thought, I'm just seeing her because she made me kill Mel. I'm going insane...
However, with a second glance he spotted three others. Nacio was one of them. "Oh god damn it." He edged his way over trying to inspect the other two first. He didn't want any more cruel people telling him to kill those he loved.
He wanted to walk out and hug Nacio and apologize, but if those were who he thought they were they'd probably take that the wrong way. Thoughts swirled in his head again. Nacio, dood I'm sorry for killing you... that was supposed to be Me who died.... His thoughts went through many things he could say, Nacio, be careful. You're barking up the wrong tree. Oh and Glad you're... kinda alive. Heh sorry for shooting you...
Nope... none of those would do. He was getting flustered, so instead he slowly made his way, skirting around keeping a paranoid eye out for Nealite. He wanted to talk to the skirt girls himself. See if they'd just dust him and put him to rest with Melody. Live Those voices echoed in his head again. "Oh for ******** sake shut up in there." He said a bit louder than he meant to hitting his head with his own hands trying to get the playbacks and the voices to stop. Not realizing it might've caused the girls or Nacio to hear him.

She giggled slightly at the mention of Andeon fighting off zombies with vodka bottles; it was a terribly interesting visual image, and not entirely too hard to imagine, because it was so typical of him. "The fire, eh?" The princess senshi sighed; the three of them had luckily barricaded themselves in a safe room and had no idea of the fire until Elke had told them. She wished that they could have let more of their schoolmates go along with them, but Hero had been incredibly stubborn on that matter
"Sebastien." She repeated the name. "Uh..." She was suddenly distracted by the zombie approaching and she raised her staff slightly in defense. It was somewhat comforting to carry a weapon (though it really couldn't exactly be considered as one) even though they had magical powers. Chronos hadn't gotten the chance to use them just yet, but she rather hoped that she wouldn't. She didn't want to hurt anyone.
She stared at the boy that looked rather green, and who was possibly a zombie, trying to connect his face to a name in her mind. She had never really socialized as Serenade, and with all the things that had happened, her mind was rather muddled up. "I..." She didn't know how to answer his question, and looked towards Virgo to help her. Virgo, at least, knew how to talk more than she did.
And then, there was another voice, and her head jerked to find the source of that voice and spotted what seemed to be another student that had died of 'bacterial meningitis'.
She just hoped they wouldn't try to eat them. Elke had said that she had thought so when she was a zombie, and Chronos was still hesitant on hurting any of her schoolmates.
Also, the voice in her mind wasn't there.

"Yeah, it killed a lot of us I think," said Virgo solemnly, bouncing ahead of the Princess like she was scouting for something. This was good, because --Oh no. Zombie alert! In any other case, she might have laughed. It sounded so ridiculous! This was not a game, though, no matter how much she wanted to treat it like one. Virgo tilted her head a little and stepped in front of the Princess, one hand raised into a fist. "It's Ignacio," said the senshi, who knew - had known - most everyone. "I remember his hair, Princess."
She listened, her smile fading into uncertainty. Not too long ago, she - Elke, Virgo's human self - had been like that. Not anymore, she was human again, full and alive and that was wonderful.
"There was a fire, Nacio," she said. "The dorm building burned down." Hadn't Nacio died before then? Previously? Bacterial meningitis, they had said. Yeah, right, she bet that that's what people would be telling her parents right now. Hmph. Virgo was so alive.
When she saw the dark-haired boy approach, she frowned. "That one is Azzo. Don't worry, Princess, I'll protect you!" Pause. "Promise I will."

That was so helpful.
They were alive, and they couldn't provide any answers except what he already knew and awkward stuttering and 'ums' from the one holding a cane. At best, it was disappointing, and Ignacio couldn't help his mild frown as he dropped his hands. It was obvious that he wasn't inclined to attack them, or at least was resisting any inclination he had to jump them right then and there.
He refused to eat other flesh. Eating flesh was not the way to transcend unlife into life again, and he knew it. Otherwise, wouldn't there be a whole lot more bodies around? There would have been more attacks, more carnage... but no, there was just hiding away and gathering and planning as far as he saw, and while he was doing some of that himself no one was being proactive.
Not even these humans were being proactive if they didn't know much, he bitterly mentally noted. Why did no one care about their plight? "I know there was a fire... Grayson told me," offered Ignacio, with a small sigh, though the determined glow in his eyes refused to be extinguished even from this failure. ... Though there was one interesting comment she made that stuck out to him, and he decided to zone in on it. "Princess?"
That explained the weird garb, but how had a princess managed to get on campus? Ignacio tilted his head in a show of curiosity, now wanting to know as much as possible so he could continue to piece together this puzzle. He was good at puzzle-solving, he just needed all the pieces, and there seemed to be an essential one he was lacking.
He even lacked the knowledge that Azzo was the Riff-Raff that attempted to save his life.

Oh good Lord, were they just going to stand around and chat?
The ends of her mouth were growing increasingly lower the longer Nealite watched the two students approach the senshi duo. What the ******** were these youma worth, if they weren't even going to bother attacking two obviously healthy, very much alive students?
Never one to wait, Nea hopped off the side of the building, her boots soon touching solid ground with a nice heavy thud (thanks to gravity mind you, not her weight). She huffed indignantly once again as she eyed the two worthless zombies, and began her own approach towards the senshi.
Her face lit up, however, as she recognized one of the two students. Azzo, her toy from the previous day, was still sulking around?
"Tsk tsk, Pet." She called out, making her presence known among the group. "And here I thought you would have learned your lesson from the other day!"
She forced the frown to disappear, a cocky grin now replacing it as she stopped in her tracks to stare at the two girls. "And who might you two be? I'm fairly certain I've never seen your faces around campus before. Registration is closed, so I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to leave, dearies. As in, now."

"Nacio, you might not wanna do that." He muttered as he walked aways and considered sitting down. His stomach rumbled and he stared at it rather crossedly.
"... and protect her from what? Obviously if you're who I think you are from the news you could probably..."
He paused when she saw her. "Oh for ******** sake...." He muttered before she called him pet and smiled slightly mockingly. "Forgive me M'lady. Was merely introducing myself as the one that was made to kill their girlfriend, by nothing but the lovely Ms... Mistress" He paused and looked at her, she'd still not given him a name so he improvised.
He coughed and turned away from her so she couldn't see his face, looking at the two senshi with eyes that piratically begged to be killed, as well as mouthing, please help. "Apparently, Mistress doesn't like unexpected guests. Shame though, I would've loved to chat with you more."
However he did walk over to Nea and plopped down right beside her. It was a good thing he could act as he looked up and gave Nea big puppy dog eyes. "What do you want me to do now mistress?" Trying to keep any mocking tone out of his voice and sounding as innocent as possible.

Sometimes, Chronos had wondered why people always seemed protective of her. First there was Jude, now Hero and Aurelia, and Elke as Virgo too. It was probably the whole princess thing; though she didn't really think she was royal, or anything like that. Being a senshi was strange enough, but being a princess was stranger. She smiled at Virgo, but hoped that the boys wouldn't initiate anything. After all, they were still pretty clueless about their powers.
"Who are you?" She asked the older woman, brows furrowing. Somehow, she got a very strange, almost sinister vibe off her and Chronos unconciously took a step back. "I've never seen you here either."
Pink eyes flickered to who Virgo had identified as Azzo, looking slightly horrified as he referred to the woman as 'Mistress'. Who was this lady? She could bet things were getting confusing to Ignacio; with one Princess and one Mistress here, but this wasn't the time for explanations such as that.
She didn't even know how to explain herself about being a Princess either.

"Oops," whispered Virgo behind one hand to Chronos. "Sorry, princess." She didn't know if she was supposed to be revealing they were senshi just yet, so she snapped her mouth closed with an audible click. With an apologetic smile at Ignacio, she shifted further in front of the princess, just in case.
An orange-haired lady appeared, and she gave off a strange feeling of weirdness, like something was wrong. Maybe it was just the expression on her face, or the way she addressed Azzo that clued her in, but it seemed pretty clear to Virgo that this lady was Bad News. "We can't leave," Virgo observed, "I tried before." When she was a monster. Could they leave now that they were senshi? Should she try?
No. She had to find her friends. And maybe see if Chronos could fix them, too, just like Chronos had fixed Elke and brought Virgo back.
"Protect her from anything," she said, putting strength in her voice that she definitely felt. Conviction! She loved her Princess, she did. "Anything and everything, like I should."
Virgo nodded firmly, a determined frown on her face. No threats to the Princess allowed!

What the hell?
It seemed that Ignacio had found a sort of information jackpot.
While they all stopped telling him anything, he suddenly had a load of visual and verbal cues to play with from their interactions, and Ignacio's eyes darted from left to right to take them all in. Was that Riff-Raff? Why was he calling the woman 'Mistress?' He caught the brief look of desperation and then wondered, perhaps, if Riff-Raff was now a slave of Jigsaw, that horrible man who had gassed Ignacio to death when Riff-Raff had tried to give up his own life instead. It seemed neither of them had really won in that situation.
But at least Ignacio still had some trace of humanity. All Riff-Raff seemed to have left was struggle. Struggle against this figure that seemed like she had considerable power, even considerable power over his own self. This automatically scared Ignacio. He was in control of his own body at all times, and as nonchalant as he was he liked being nonchalant on his own terms. He would stay away from this woman. While she was facing off with the two--the Princess with a staff and the other woman with a bow and a dress--Ignacio began to back up into a position behind them.
Perhaps he would be better off watching this from a distance. Why did they seem so unwilling to tell him anything else about this Princess they had mentioned? Perhaps he could learn more by observations, but it was obvious that they were against the woman who was in possession of the man who had attempted to save his life. If they were against that Jigsaw in any way, they were on his side and Ignacio figured that they were the ones who would win in this situation.
Plus, the one in a dress seemed apologetic that she wasn't telling him anything. But she did say that they couldn't escape. Couldn't escape what? The campus? What kind of monster was Barren Pines? Ignacio was finding about this all very late, considering he was the first to die before even the school was suspected of any foul play. The bacterial meningitis lie was never even heard by Ignacio's ears until recently, and he had no idea that the campus burned and the people had become flesh-eating unliving.
For once, Ignacio kept his mouth shut. For once, he wasn't moving around. And for once, he was continuing to keep his attentions on the situation in front of him. He was determined to dissect what exactly was going on here, and perhaps find a way to create and equal and opposite reaction.
There had to be a way.
There had to be a way.

Princess?
Princess?
Alarms were going off in Nealite's head as her mind processed what the girl had just whispered to the other, her words barely reaching the Captain's ears. A Princess Senshi? Was that even possible?
"Answering a question with a question is rather rude, don't you think?" She finally responded haughtily, her mouth suddenly growing dry. She didn't know there were Princesses among Senshi... would this make her more powerful? Or more valuable? What would happen if she let her get away?
No.
She wasn't going to let her get away.
"Nealite. I'm Captain Nealite, Princess."
Two fingers raised up in a mock salute to the senshi, her focus solely on them and not the sniveling zombie at her heels.
"And I believe I know how I can get you out of here."

Azzo looked at the girls and then to Nealite. Nealite wasn't happy, then again it just proved a theory. He sighed as he tried to slowly back away. There was no way in hell he was going to fight senshi.
When he was outa Nea's vision field, he stood up and motioned for Nacio to also hide. Azzo slipped his way back to the tree however if Nea was to look, he'd stop and grin. However as he was keeping one eye trained on the captain with a rather disdainful hate for her thoughts kept wishing he could kick her a**, he kept the other on the Senshi hoping they wouldn't say anything as he placed a finger on his lip.
Maybe if he was behind that tree. She couldn't find him to order him around. He was tried of killing, and even though he'd like to just be dusted, he didn't want to be dusted when being ordered around by her.
When he managed to get near the tree he ducked behind it and stood with his back to it, digging his nails in it. Thinking how nice it'd be to be able to be tied to this stupid thing. However he could still hear what was going on, so he wasn't really all that far away. Maybe he could cover his ears when she started shouting orders.... unless she found him and killed him first.
