Axel: -Looks around as he strolls along a path in the forest, his destination unknow to him at the moment since he has no place in mind-
Hotaru: *Trotting along, looking for Gibbs since she lost track of him. Frowns* Gibbs? Damn it, this isn't funny!
Axel: -Stops when he hears the sound of Hotaru's voice. His mind debates taking off before getting in to another weird conversation with the girl, or going to check it out to see what is going on. Stomping a foot and grumbling to himself, he tries to track down the girl-
Hotaru: *Flicks an ear at the sound of foot steps* Gibbs? *Trots in the direction of the foot steps, stopping when she sees Axel.* Oh hey, it's you! *Grins up at him*
Axel: Yeah, well, "you" has a name you know. What are you doing out here yelling anyway?
Hotaru: *Frowns* Gibbs ditched me... *Sits at Axel's feet* But I can play with you now!
Axel:-Raises a brow while holding back a laugh- Play? And what gives you the crazy idea that I will play with you?
Hotaru: *Blinks innocently* Because if you don't I'll cry.
Axel: -Blinks himself and just stares at Hotaru- You're going to try and convince me by crying your little heart out?
Hotaru: Yep *Smiles up at him*
Axel: -Scuffs and turns to leave- Good luck with that. I'm flattered you want to hang around me, but I have better things to do with my time than waste it here, so, bye. -Waves and starts off back down the path-
Hotaru: *Watches his retreating back, her ears drooping with each step as her eyes start to water. Lets out a whinnying whine* Am I so terrible that no one wants to play with me?
Axel: -Ears flinch from the cry since he hasn't heard anything like it before- What the hell? -Shakes his head as he stops- Why don't you just go bother Xigbar and Demyx?
Hotaru: Because they had a big fight yesterday *Sniffles, her breath hitching* So Gibbs says to give them space today.
Axel: -Mumbles to himself- Yeah, and I am sure they are enjoying it, or the lack of space between them.. -Sighs and scratches his head- Well don't you have anyone else to bother besides family?
Hotaru: No... You're the only non-family I know
Axel: -Groans and sighs- ...What the hell do you want to ..."play"?
Hotaru: *Ears perk up* Really? You'll play with me?
Axel: -Nods- Yeah yeah, just hurry up.
Hotaru: Hmm *Mulls over what to do while trying to think up a game Axel might like too* Can't you do fire stuff?
Axel: -Nods and smirks- Yep, that's what I do. Why?
Hotaru: Show me?
Axel: And why do you want to see? Can't you do fire?
Hotaru: *Nods excitedly* I don't get to do it a lot though.
Axel: And why is that? Someone scared you will set the whole house on fire or something?
Hotaru: *Shakes her head* It makes MamaDem uncomfortable, the fire
Axel: -Rolls his eyes as he summons his Chakrams- Of course it does. Why am I not suprised there..
Hotaru: Did you do something to him?
Axel: Besides joke about him from time to time, not too much, at least not a lot I can remember right now.
Hotaru: *Flicks her firey tail* So, you going to show me something?
Axel: So, you going to ask politely?
Hotaru: *Blinks* Please?
Axel: -Shrugs as he starts spinning the Chakrams a few times before they slowly start becoming surrounded by flames, which grow larger and larger as they spin longer and faster-
Hotaru: *Watches with wide eyes* Wow!
Axel: -Rolls his eyes at the teen- You happy now?
Hotaru: *Nods* What else can you do?
Axel: I can explode stuff with these, but I don't want to be the blame of engulfing the island in flames...
Hotaru: Isn't there a place where you can show me?
Axel: -Shrugs- Guess we could try the desert. Nothing but dirt and cactuses.
Hotaru: Where's that?
Axel: -Shakes his head and follows after the girl to the desert, where he looks around at the..lack of scenery- A bit colder than I thought it would be...
Hotaru: Really? *Looks surprised* This is the warmest place I've even been to.
