Cadi rode onto route 14 and glanced over at the pretty water.
It was more fun to just ride Kodi, her Rapidash around since.. well she was mostly focused on training him right now and trying to catch up on her gym badges.. after all she'd been training 8 pokemon at once.. and it was getting to her. she had fallen behind in her gym battles and hand't even been into towns or rested once. It was nice to take a break and stare at the water. She was taking a moment to reflect upon how far she'd come in training since day one.. when she was just bursting inside to get a pokemon to start with. She wondered if she should feel bad about holding off on Wartortal's training while she trained kodi.. but as she glanced down at his pokeball she smirked. "I doubt it!" She thought, "I bet he's sleeping in there and having a great dream." with that she smirked again then looked back to the water. Kodi was getting stronger and stronger.. He was going to be the team leader after all.. and it was probably a good idea to be focused on who would be her #1 pokemon to use. She also had great plans to breed him later.. one day.. she would be a breeder.. maybe even a gym leader..
"Man that is pretty isn't it Kodiak?"
Kodi just tossed his head as if he was nodding "yes it is" and gave a soft neigh grunt in response.

Her rest wasn't a long one tho' Cadi ran into Trainer Bird Keeper who sent in Pidgeotto Lv.29
Cadi slid off kodi and sent in Rapidash lv 49. (auto win- 15 lvs higher)

Rapidash won, Cadi got $150 for winning
Rapidash grew to lv 50!
