It had been snowing softly the last couple of days. This morning it had begun to clear up. Tightening her grip on Hunter, Kait shifted his weight to sit on her hip better. Exile had taken Riina to go Christmas shopping, so Kait had decided it would be the perfect time to teach Hunter to make snow angel and snowmen.
Hunter squirmed excitedly. It wasn't very often that he got to go into town, and he adored the park. All around him things were covered in a blanket of soft white stuff that mommy called snow. He had discovered that it was cold to the touch, but he was bundled up all warm and cozy so e could play in it.
Kait set the infant down and smiled. Nearby there were other children playing. She reached down and instructed Hunter in how to start the snowman. She laughed as he struggled to push the quickly growing snowball in circles around her. She reached into the bag at her side and pulled out the necessary dressings. A carrot for his nose, a ratted old scarf, coal for the eyes, raisins for the mouth and a hat to keep his snowy head warm.

The snow was cold. Quite cold, in fact, and Seth had to bundle up. He hated the way the hat and snow pants were restricting movement to his ears and tails, but he considered it a small price to pay for to avoid frost bite. He held slowly melting snow in his hands, making a small round ball out of it, then threw it at Dimitri.
"Oi! Of course you know, this means war!" Dimitri replied, wiping of snow remnants from his chest. For a good ten minutes, the two went back and forth at each other with snow balls.
At least until Seth's bad aim whirled a snow ball at another kid, just as he finished his snowman.

(Phantom, no godmoding. This means you can say Seth aimed a ball in Hunter's direction, but not that it hit him. Give Kait some room to say if she wants it to hit him, or for him to dodge it, kay? <3 Just one of the guidelines to good roleplaying.)
Samantha and Reiya were busy building a sturdy snowman, each girl pushing a rather large snowball. "Do you think this one's big enough to be his body?" Sammi asked, looking to her twin. "I think I'll put this one on top of yours, so it can be the base." Originally they had planned it the other way around; Samantha had been supposed to make the base, but for some reason, everytime the snowball managed to get big enough, it started to melt. It wasn't fair.
Reiya stopped rolling her snowball, and helped her twin put the second on top of it. "I'll make the head," she said with a grin. It amused her that Sammi's ability kept melting the snow. She started rolling a smaller snowball. When it was big enough, she put it on top. "There! Now we can start decorating him!"
Samantha, however, was distracted by something else. "Sammi? What is it?" Reiya asked, blinking.
Sammi looked pointedly towards Hunter, a smile crossing her face. She had all but forgotten her disagreement with him; besides, Milo wasn't here for her to protect. She made her way over to him. "Hi Hunter!" She said, smiling warmly.

Hunter looked up at hearing his name spoken from somewhere nearby. He dusted himself off, trying to get the tiny wet crystals out of his hair. He recognized Sammi from the Halloween party, and he vaguely remembered seeing Reiya there too. Not sure if she would yell at him again, he waved from afar, still a bit cautious. As he turned his head to look a wildly thrown snowball grazed his cheek, leaving a wet streak of melted snow as it collided with his snowman. He looked around searching for the culprit. He wasn't upset about it hitting the snowman, but he was upset about it trying to hit him. "Who di' that?"

Seth went very red faced as Dimitri pushed him forward, muttering "Go appologize!" to the little doggy boy. Seth shuffled his feet until he was in front of his snowball victim.
"I-I'm sorry, I didn't m-mean to..." He replied, watching his feet half sunken in the snow. "Was an accident, d-didn't mean too..." Even though they were already smooshed under his hat, his ears clung even closer to his head in shame.
