Hect I actively like everything I listen to. I have no guilty pleasures. Sam here. Though I admit, I do keep that fact that I like Michael Jackson, Elton John, Lady Gaga etc. quiet around drunken metal crowds. ******** meatheads. gonk

Closest thing I really have to a guilty pleasure is Alkaline Trio. I've loved them for years. I'm not quite sure why, I despise all of the other bands they are associated with.

Def Leppard.
I usually hate 80's hair metal, but Def Leppard was so unique, I love them.

It's not because it doesn't "fit in", it's because they'll actually beat me up for liking a certain band or bands. "What, you like Elton John!? The funny thing about a lot of so-called drunken moshpit metalheads that I have met is that they don't actually listen to metal.

Metal and metalheads, especially, are very boring. I can probably count all the metal I like on one hand. If I felt guilty about liking something; I would feel guilty about the intro to this song, this, this and this.

What is it with everyone loving Lady Gaga? I feel like I'm missing something that everyone else gets.
I swear went on a big ramble here about all my guilty pleasure music. I have shittons. Let me see...
Lots of Evanescence (I loved them when I was about fifteen). Panic at the Disco - the old, emo-y stuff, not the new stuff. Avril Lavigne. Greenday, occasionally Blink 182, Bowling for Soup (though I can't say as I know either of those bands well). A fair bit of Nightwish. And sometimes I can't help liking shitty old Rammstein songs that bring back good memories.
Okay, it's mainly minimosher stuff.
Also, I listen to a hell of a lot of Tori Amos (love Tori Amos) - should she be considered a guilty pleasure? And occasionally Enya. Video game music by Nobuo Uematsu. Mika.
I listen to a lot of music that isn't held in very high esteem by a lot of people. I can't help it.
