i never noticed until recently...that both stories of "the Secret Garden" & "a Little Princess" both have beginnings in India...

I've watched 'The Secret Garden', started the book couldn't finish it, but I haven't heard anything about 'A Little Princess'. What's it about?

ForeverandAlways I've watched 'The Secret Garden', started the book couldn't finish it, but I haven't heard anything about 'A Little Princess'. What's it about? it's about a girl who grows up in India with her father (who's a British officer) but when he gets called away to war (WWII) he sends her to a boarding school in NYC where she disrupts a lot with her imaginings & fairy-tales. i won't explain more cause i don't wanna ruin it for u if u watch it.

The Secret Garden was one of my favorite books when I was younger. That and the Jungle Book, Witch of Blackbird Pond and Heidi.

I don't even remember what mine were either. I guess its because I didn't have much time to really think about that. Chores.......... That is all I can remember between the moments of freedom at Celtic's house.
