Alrighty! As the title suggests, this thread is all about books! Here, you can talk about books, recomend books, give book reviews, bash books that really suck, ask for help understanding books, comment on wether the movie or the book is better, and steer ppl to good books, or away from bad books.
whee This is so exciteing!

Okay, we've all seen Bourn Identity, right? I loved it, it made my heart pump the whole movie, and I'm desperatly awaiting the 3rd movie. But did you know that they are actually books that were writen in the 80's? Yup. And they're HUGE! I've only read Bourn Identity, but it was well worth it...I guess this is my recomendation! If you liked the movies, the books are a must read!

ok, well first of all let me say that i have no idea wich movie you saw bandit, but in the book and in the movie I saw george was caucasain.
any way, my favorite book series is the vlad taltos novles by Steven Brust. I know one member here is also a fan of this series by her user name, but that is of no matter. I seriously recomend this book series. starting with "Taltos" and then "Jehreg" and "Dragon" and then the rest of his works. he is currently wrighting "Dzur" and that should be released in august I belive.

I read almost anything but romance, *coughcoughgrannyporncough* and relizm....I am a MAJOR Star Wars fan, and I plan on reading Star Treck, too....I also read fantacy a lot! Sometimes I'll read the freeky stuff when my boss orders me too, but other than that, I just read scifi and fantacy (and of course, the Bible) and stuff like that. I LOVE history, too! *huggles*

The last book I read was "The Count of Monte Cristo" in High school so that was about 2 years ago. Good book about a man who after he escapes from an island prison comes back as a noble or whatever to get the man who did him wrong.

I recommend, " year 1984" - I almost cried at the end... Is next to " a new brave world" , one of the greatest anti-utopia books in the history.
