I'm gonna throw together a mop for myself in the next week. So, what's better. Pens, or Sharpies? and WD-40 or brake Fluid?

pens. nice fat paint pens.
And as for drips, I use break fluid when I want drips. But you save SO MUCH PAINT if you keep your s**t clean without it.

Nahh, I meant like.. Bic, regular ballpoint pens. With rubbing alcahol and some brake fluid, you get NYC Mop ink.

Sharpies are for toys. anything store grade you ever should use is pilot.
Homemade has to be opaque, ******** the brake fluid. it helps stain and all that but ink with brake fluid fades easily if hit with a lot of light. Try something xylene like smash. Marsh t grade w/ garvey is my choice. artprimo sells quarts of black marsh for $30 and and white for $35

Your not even supposed to put paint in a mop, itll ******** your nib up.

Should be like 5%-10% of paint thinner for it to be straight. WD40 is a makeshift paint thinner, but it does the job.

They're decent markers, don't streak TOO much, but they fade quick.
