Marrie was running, This was a sight she didn't want to miss for the world, Stars were special to her and when she over heard some humans talking about a huge meteor shower that was going to start after midnight and last till the early morning she knew she was going to be there in the best spot in the middle of the park were it was always dark and the city lights didn't seem to reach. "This is perfect nobody is here yet" She laid out her blanket and sat on it looking to the sky eagerly.
Adonis followed behind her. "Why would anyone be out here, you took us to the middle of no where." He went to seat down beside her and got shooed off the blanket.
"If Ishtar comes I want him to cuddle with me."
Adonis rolled his eyes and laid down in the grass with his arms crossed behind his head. "Did you even tell him about this?"
"He'll know where to find me."

 She had never been much of a night cat, but Ella could appreciate the stars when she saw them on her walks that happened to be further away from the polluting lights. With civilization left behind, the quiet was a lovely background for them. The Burmese padded along with little fear of the darkness, humming softly under her breath, when she heard several voices to the side conversing. Peeking over the bush, she saw two figures laid out on a blanket and for a moment thought them lovers until the girl mentioned an "Ishtar" - well, not that the name meant anything to her, but the fact that they were sitting and waiting did. She wasn't a typically curious cat, but Elarinya still had her moments of being nosy; what else was there to do after all? She was a wandering cat without purpose, and thus she had to make purposes to keep herself from being driven mad. Perhaps socializing wasn't such a terrible idea.
"Is something special happening tonight?" she inquired, stepping out of the bushes. Above them the sky yawned, filled with more stars than she had known.

The young cat had his three sisters with him, and was obviously trying not to get irritated while they poked and prodded him to do this and that and look here and there. He sighed inwardly, he was a walking jungle gym. It took a bit, but he begged Valiant to let him come out to the mediator shower, but then one girl heard and suddenly they were all there; Well all but two. Raina was clinging to his back, often leaning forward and pointing to a certain star and rattling off its name and how it affects the earth… after awhile he just tuned her out.
His other two sisters held his hand coming out of the trees in earnest. Ever since they had disappeared from the trees Valiant had been very insistent that they not go alone, so they rarely got to do anything but the typical Anbu things. Saeriel was chatting with Raina, looking up at her and not really paying attention to where Ishtar was leading them, and Faye was looking around earnestly. Her and her twin were very interesting… they always seemed to know things.
Like now. Her hand jut out and pointed to some cats gathered around a blanket, nearly dragging him in that direction. But now he could see her, and a soft smile formed on his features, his marrie. His star princess.
Raina looked up then and grinned waving and smiling; “Hey Marrie we made it! Though I don’t think any of us were expecting much company.” Saeriel fell silent, observing the other cats cautiously, and Faye clung tighter to Ishtar’s hand. God what a group they must seem like.

There was a new moon out which meant that the only light falling on their little hill came from the stars. Adonis noticed the pair of golden glowing eyes just before he heard Elarinya's voice. Both Marrie and him smiled at her warmly. "There is a meteor shower tonight, it will be beautiful" He motioned for the new female to join them. "I'm Adonis and this is my sister Marrie, you are welcome to join us."
"Oh please do join us, the stars are always prettier when you have someone to share them with."
The sound of Ishtar's approach was anything but silent, and he looked rather silly with all the little females crawling on him. "I told you he would come." she whispered to Adonis quietly. "Raina, good to see you. I didn't know you liked star gazing also. You have grown, who are these two with you? Must be sisters." she said after noting the short tails
"Looks like you're sister watching tonight too" Adonis smiled knowing a bit of what Ishtar was going though. "But you are better then me, I sometimes had trouble keeping up with just this one." He said sticking his thumb out to Marrie "Luckily she doesn't need me any more."
"I saved a place for you Ishtar," She said patting the place right next to her. "It should start soon."

What a group indeed. As subtly as she could, Ella sidled off to the side as a group of four made thmselves known - and apprantly they knew the pair of siblings with whom she had just been introduced to. Three girls and one boy, all of whom also seemed related somehow, walked down to Marrie and Adonis, and she had to peer at each one in the dark curiously. Perhaps she was intruding? Though to see a meteor shower for the first time would be glorious . . .
"Er . . . Elarinya," she introduced herself in return, almost apologetically. Being the sole stranger in a group of friends was uncomfortable, and she hated to impose. Thus she sat a little to the side of them, tilting her head skywards to watch for signs of the incoming meteor shower. "Will it rain, then? I don't see clouds . . ."

Adonis moved closer to Elarinya, not wanting to crowd Marrie and her boyfriend and his family who he barely knew anything about, but he knew enough not to want to cause a problem with Ishtar. "Elarinya, what an unusual name, dose it mean anything?" Adonis looked at El's deep golden eyes as she was looking up at the sky. "No rain, instead ribbons of light will fill the sky." Adonis smiled enjoying how innocent Elarinya seemed. "Are you new out here, I don't think I have seen you before, I would have remembered." Just as he finished speaking the first meteor crossed the sky leaving a long brilliant white tail behind it.
"Oh make a wish, it's the first to fall" Marrie said quickly and squeezed her eyes shut wishing with all her heart about a life together with Ishtar. And then she cuddled tightly to his side hoping his sisters wouldn't mind, she offered her lap to anyone of them that wanted it, she would love his family as much as she loved him.

She fidgeted slightly when he scooted over to give the incoming family more room, herself inching forward to recompensate the tiny distance Adonis had moved. "It, ah . . . I think it came from one of my master's fiction novels," Ella replied without taking her eyes off the sky, feeling Adnois' gaze self-consciously. "I think it's supposed to be Elvish. Something about it meaning 'morning star'." She had never taken full advantage or appreciation of the unique name, thinking it a little embarassing in fact; her previous master couldn't have kept his eccentric personality to himself?
The skies suddenly lit up with a single comet, and her eyes widened with wonder. It took her a moment to respond. "No, no, I've been here for a while. I just have never been outside until recently . . ."

Ishtar smiled, leading the girls over to the company, he gave a stiff bow, seeing as the young ones seemed to not want to be let go of around strangers. He felt that perhaps val was a bit overprotective not letting them out of her sight for awhile, but what could he do? The male was just happy that his girlfriend was as loving to his family and understanding as anyone could be.
The only thing Ishtar could wish to make him more happy would be for the people he adores to remain in good health and safe. At the end of his wish Ishtar leaned over, kissing Marrie lightly on the cheek, very aware of their siblings being near, and blushed faintly at the intimacy he shared while around her.
Fae climbed onto Marrie's lap, resting her head on Ishtar's knee like the princess she was. She happened to be a quiet little thing, but it was obvious she was used to no one objecting. Saeriel proved to be her exact opposite, drawing away from the crowd and looking at the sky, her knees drawn to her chest with a inquisitive expression flitting onto her features.
Raina skipped right over to Adonis and the girl she had never met and sat down, staring at the sky in earnest.
"Your uncomfortable." She said, a bit suddenly, directing her attention to Elarinya. The girl had an uncanny ability with emotions, but she didn't think much of it. "Its ok, half of us don't know each other, the other half is embarrassed from the lovers over there." She jerked her thumb to Ishtar and Marrie, a calming smile on her face. "I do hope more people show up tonight."

Several stars were making there way down to earth now and Marrie's face was tilted up watching the light dance across the sky then she looked over to Ishtar and smiled. "Ishtar, you remind me of the sky at night. Even though you try and act dark toward other people I can see the brilliant starlight shining in you. I love you." Marrie kissed Ishtar and tucked her head onto his shoulder. She looked down and pet Fae "It's nice to meet you, I hope your big brother is good to you." Not embarrassed at all of her relationship. "I'll be your big sister if you like."
She looked over to Saeriel how was by herself. "I promise I'm nice, it's cold if you come over here we can all cuddle and be warm." She thought maybe Saeriel didn't like Marrie being so close to her brother. "I'll let you be in the middle." She hated to see the little one on her own, but at the same time she liked the independence Saeriel showed. "You have a great family Ishtar."
"Morning star!, what a suitable name for a star gazer. It's very pretty, but like yourself. If you ever need anything you can look for me, I'd be happy to show you around." Adonis looked over at Rina as she approached and tried to ignore the face that She had called his innocent little sister and Ishtar lovers. Surely they hadn't done anything beyond kissing yet. "Wow Raina, you have grown up quite a bit since I last saw you. I see you are no longer the baby, but a lovely young lady now."

"Lovers, huh? I guess you guys tagged along to make sure he was alright with her alone." The femme's uncanny empathy at first unsettled Ella more, but then - in her case - pinpointing her emotions was a direct assessment of her very character. Although then again, the Burmese's stiffness was probably very noticeable anyway, and she felt lucky that in the least the current group didn't seem to mind this too much. At the mention of wanting more people around, though Ella disagreed and rather liked small groups, she nodded her head to satisfy the other girl, taking her eyes off the sky for a moment to acknowledge them; after all, it wouldn't be very polite to talk to the stars, right?
"I'm not very star-gazerish, though," Elarinya went on to say candidly, "as you can tell this is my first time watching them at all. But it'd be nice to get a tour sometime, so thanks for the offer, Adonis." She nodded to him with a little smile before returning her amber gaze to the light show above, quietly awed for another few moments. "But . . . how do we know the stars won't fall on us? They have to land somewhere after all."

Ishtar gave a half hearted smile and ruffled his girlfriends hair. "If you say so love."He shook his head and chuckled a bit watching the stars before addressing the unknown member of the group. "We don't know they wont fall on us. Thats part of the adventure." Ish stretched, even his fingers getting into the motion before the prince slumped into the grass further, watching not only the stars but their companions with interest. When Marrie offered the seat to Saeriel Ishtar gave her a bit of a hug to his side and let her go. Though he wasn't sure if Saeriel would go for it.
The spotted female looked dubiously at the others and then shrugged her shoulder stiffly,offering her first real words of the night. "im not one for new people." before sitting up more streight backed, her eyes still focused on the stars... but not. You could tell it wouldnt be easy to sneak up on her even with the 'distraction' above.
Faye stirred, giving a meek smile up to the older people."Most of my siblings... are quiet. Exept for Aliel, shes the only one sae really talks to. I have my twin but... shes with mum working on something... and of course there's Raina..." Faye let her quiet voice die away, before leaning her head on Ishtar's knee and closing her eyes, as though even talking that long took too much out of her.
Raina smiled and bobbed her head. "You always have such pretty words Adonis. Though sometimes I wonder if you use them for everyone and not just me." she pouted prettily, but it didn't last long. Raina just wasn't built like that. She turned her attention to Elarinya. "never star-gazed? well we must find you someone to go with more often then huh?" she winked and turned her attention back up to the sky, drawing her knees up to her chin and smiling wistfully.

Marries hair puffed up like a little storm cloud on top on her head where Ishtar rubbed it. She blushed and tried to smooth it back down hoping no one notice how silly her hair could look. good thing everyone was distracted but the light show above their heads. Marrie beamed when Ishtar pulled her into his side, she didn't know why but she absolutely loved when he held her tight to his body, it created a fire with in her. Marrie smiled at Saeriel, "Okay but the offer is always open, I hope to get to know you better in the future." She tuned back to Fay on her lap and pet her hair, "I see, yes I met Raina, Ishtar must be surrounded by you pretty girls all the time. I leave him to your care when I'm not near." She cuddled into his shoulder again. "One day I'll be his wife, and you will be my sisters as well."
Adonis smiled at Raina, "Well my dear, I just say what I feel in my heart, but I think your smiles makes you even cuter. Women should always smile." he leaned closer to Raina and whispered "A smile can be magic, If you can find something to smile about when everyone is dark around you, you will be their light of hope.
Adonis returned his attention to Elarinya "how about we meet tomorrow some time and I will show you all the best spots."

Whoa, how did it come that? From simple stargazing to actually being set up with someone! Was this what was considered a "date" in the outside world, suddenly finding yourself penning in an event with someone you didn't know very well, much less created by an equal stranger? Ella merely blinked for a moment, unsure of what to say, her mouth moving slightly as if trying to form words that weren't there. "Th-That's . . . that would be nice," she eventually said, looking more at the grass behind them than at the cats themselves. "I mean, if you want that is. You could invite friends too, like this gathering, though, it doesn't have to be you alone."
Aaaah, how she hated being socially awkward! And so fickle about the number of people: ohe yes, she liked small groups, but one on one? It held the highest chances of making some sort of embarassing comment, and the Burmese just wasn't used to being given solo attention. Well, not from her kin anyway.

Raina smiled, poking Ella in the forehead. "I could go with you guys if you don't mind Adonis, you know how much I enjoy your company~"
Faye closed her eyes, the day was long and ... well she was tired, Ishtar had as much as dragged her out for this occasion, though she was pretty sure that he hadn't even known Marrie would be there. So she pictured Hiro in her mind, him slowly calming her to sleep. A low purr tickling her throat as she drifted off.
Saeirel watched the stars, not willing to really be a apart of the group, She turned her head, looking into the trees, almost scouting the area before turning her attention back to the stars.
Ishtar nuzzled into Marrie's hair, happy, content, willing to close his eyes just for a moment and allow her to take the lead. He smiled "Yes she will indeed." he said softly, thinking of the future and what it would entail.

Adonis laughed softly to himself that Ella was afraid to be alone with him while little Raina was more them willing it seemed to go on any adventure with him. "I would be honored to go on a walk about with both of you, If that's alright with you Ella? I promise I won't try any funny stuff." He smiled and winked at the two of them. With how close Marrie and Ishtar was it seemed like Raina was practically his family also now. even so she was a little cutie.
The number of stars crossing the sky suddenly increased and the whole sky was ablaze with light. Marrie excitedly wrapped her arms around Ishtar. "Ohhh" She snuggled her body into his, closer then ever before. Then she leaned in and kissed his cheek sweetly. "Thank you."
