History: Desdemona first arrived to Gaia for one purpose, to do her job, but wanted a little side entertainment while she was there; along came Kaipo, the most adorable raccoon she ever saw...there was something about some spell she used to make him anthro or something, no one's really sure if those details, but his presence lengthened her visit to Gaia. They fell in love (a fact Desdemona refuses to admit to herself or her sister and niece) and married one another, however the marriage didn't last long for Desdemona left Kaipo the day she discovered she was pregnant. She raised Penelope on her own the way she was raised, only...nicer, of course, leaving her daughter at the age of 15 and leaving Delora as her caretaker.

- Horns and headwings: While usually hidden along with the rest of her more prominent features, Desdemona has a pair of small black horns and between those a pair of large, black, leathery bat-like wings.

- Penelope "Eight" Love (Daughter; Alive) - Penelope, who now goes by the name "Eight", is Desdemona's only daughter. She's the light of Des' life, but unfortunately she can never see her again nor may she be in contact with her half-blooded daughter. All she knows is things she has been told, such as all the children she has adopted and her recent marriage to a man named Alex Love.
Aria (Younger sister; Deceased) - Aria was much less understanding of Des' love for Kaipo, and was a lot crueler than she has ever been; this is a trait that has been since picked up by her daughter, Delora. She was killed by Desdemona, for which Desdemona was severely dealt with.
Delora (Niece; Alive) - Aria's only daughter, she has now been forced to act as a sort of 'guardian' for her cousin in her aunt's absence. She is very much like Aria used to be; cruel, sadistic and careless.
Kaipo Jenkins (Ex-husband; Alive) - A raccoon man who stole Desdemona's heart. He's the only man she's ever loved but she will never admit to such a thing. Because of Des he has never met his daughter, nor has she met him.
