 Another day...another crowd of fools to take advantage of. Sometimes Elkaun really got tired of it. But with how easy pickings these flocks prooved to be, how could he give it up? Just look at them! Their guards were down a little more then they normally were. Fools, the whole lot of them!
Elkaun wandered amid the crowd, smileing cheerfully and winking his pretty pink eyes at the females. He spun a colorful ball in his left hand, in a teaseing manner it danced and spun on his fingertips. Let's see. Who can he woo today? What little crowd can he keep occupied while one of the circus scamps picked the pockets of the gathered flock of rothe? Elkaun paused to tuck back a length of white hair behind one pointed ear with his tattooed arm. Hmm. Perhaps he could find company for tonight? He wouldn't be able to take them back to the wagon of course...but if he was fortunate enough to find a female with a house of her own...it would be nice to be in a bed that did not fold out or rock with the rest of the room...or just...to be invied to a meal that did not come from the wheeled kitchen... that would be rather enjoyable...or a cup of unwatered ale? Sometimes he swore the Ringleader had the ale watered down to ensure they did not get too sloshed. Bah!

Schaden Sin'Lara, one of the notorious Sin'Lara twins, knew a lot of things about a lot of people. But she did not have much information about the strange circus that had suddenly appeared in the city. It was probably harmless, a small group of waifs and strays trying to scape a few coins together with their parlour tricks. Petty thieves at the most. Still it always paid to be vigilant, and if she found anything resembling a threat she could sell the information for a fair price.
There was already a small crowd assembled among the various sideshows, watching the acts with curiosity. Some of them were even quite entertaining and Schaden regretted not bringing her brother along. He would have liked this, he could be such a child sometimes. Not that he was stupid, many drow seemed to misunderstand that point, but his youthful mentality could sometimes bring their double act a rather unique way of thinking, and could also bring about unecessary cruelty when her twin lost his temper.
She smiled slightly, remembering a past torture session where that had happened. That poor guard, and right in the face as well. She held back a laugh but couldn't contain a low chuckle when she spotted some poor unsuspecting commoners having their purses cut. Some people really were careless she thought, leaning lazily against the wheel of one of the Circus's caravans.

There was merit in being slow to get in on the fun of the others. That Merit being, Elkaun could browse the crowd and find potentially interesting individuals to entertain. Preferrably, interesting by means of well tended cloths and the mark of humor in their facial features. Well off folk were often from Houses, and those that were already lax enough to be enjoying themselves were quicker to loosen their coin purses with only a moderate amount of work on his part. It really was all about the ease of the job. That was why Elkaun had taken on Sszor as his apprentice. Since the young male had become his 'cousin' Elkaun had only needed work half as hard to bring in the same amount of 'honest' coin that was expected of him.
As he slipped through the folk gathered, Elkaun happened by chance to glance a fairly pretty female leaning against one of the wagons. Well..she may not have looked to be a promising target for coins...but at a glance at her tightly laced bodice Elkaun was willing to hope she'd be a better chance for something else a little more rewarding then simple metal disks. He spun his ball in his left hand and sent the brightly colored object into the air. As it came back down, Elkaun allowed it to strike the hard ground, and with a flicker of gold the ball duplicated into a pair of large oranate sphears. Elkaun caught a ball in the palm of each hand, and he brought himself closer to the female leaning against the wagon wheel.
"Ah there you are!" He put on his most charming smile "Exactly what I've been looking for all evening. A beautiful woman with obvious style!"

Schaden tensed cautiously as she eyed the stranger who had approached her. Judging by his parlour tricks and ridiculous pants he was one of the performers. Not that she made a habit of eyeing mens trousers but these ones were almost as big as the circus tent! His tiny vest only making them seem even more comical, not that the tiny vest was displeasing, quite the opposite in fact. Not that she made a habit of looking at mens chests. Well not very often anyway, and only if they were attractive. And this one was attractive, plus if a male has their body on display then they must obviously want to be looked at. Perhaps she should encourage more nudity among her the G'eld males, so that some wealthy matron might carry them away and get them out of her hair. Not Freude though, she doubted that any drowess would take him even if she giftwrapped him and left him on their doorstep.
"That's a fine compliment coming from someone with such a... unique dress sense." she replied with a small smirk. Schaden didn't give people compliments to their faces unless they had some form of sarcastic undertone. She figured that eventually not even she herself would know whether she was being sincere or not. Maybe it had already happened.
She wondered how much silver she would have to give him to get him to go away. Or perhaps he could prove to be useful, she was unsure. It wouldn't hurt to see what would happen as long as she was careful.

Hmm. Elkaun arched one of his white brows at the female, and gave her his most relaxed smile. He was, to say the least, not dissuaded to move on. Rather, as this female would follow her words with a smirk, Elkaun would bow his head in a mock form on embaressment.
"Oh. What a bittersweet response. Surely my own choice of garb is not so outlandish that it makes looking upon me unpleasent? If such is the case perhaps I ought to merely shuck these flimsy fabrics? Shall I dance nude for you pretty lady?" Elkaun's pink eyes lifted upwards, and to her smirking expression he met with one of his own. Elkaun straitened himself out of his false pose of embaressment and deftly spun one of his balls in the palm of one hand, before bounceing the second one off it and into the air overhead. The ball fell down into his second waiting palm with a faint 'smack' sound, after which he rather boldly pursed his lips to make a slight kissing sound at the female.

Schaden couldn't help but laugh at such a brazen suggestion. She hadn't had an offer like that since that time she was sent to investigate that brothel that was housing a heretic cult. That was a fun mission. Well maybe not for her henchmen who had to go undercover as prostitutes. She'd laughed then as well.
"I think one set of balls is quite enough." she replied, still chuckling lightly. "For now at least anyway."
If she was going to be flirted with outrageously, then she was damn well going to be outrageous back. She was not one to be outdone.

The banter, for now, was quiet pleasent. Elkaun's pink eyes shone merrily at the females reply. Sometimes a little vulgar humor was more amuseing then watching a drunk stumble through a well lit room. Elkaun kept his hands busy with the pair of colorful balls by sweeping them back and forth from one palm to another, though his main attention he kept focused upon the female.
"For now? Oh well then, it seems I have an invested interest in keeping you company now! I am very skillful you know with my hands. Perhaps the pretty lady would be interested in learning how to handle a pair of balls herself?" He coyly arched a brow while attempting to place as innocent a look upon his face. At least he had picked out a female who was willing to engage in the flirting talk, even if it was unlikely they would be spending more time together later. Such chatting merely made his job more enjoyable and helped pass the time in amusement.
