Zingling: Kakali sat staring up at the sky, she was lost yet again but it didn’t really worry her too much. She had found something terrible beautiful was didn’t want to leave it behind just yet. She had really found herself a lot of treasure this time. So many shimmering rocks, even a skull covered in its odd colorful glaze. It was opal, everywhere. Whatever was under the earth sure enjoyed making the stuff, and boy was she ever happy she found it. “I wish I could take a piece of you with me… but your bad luck to remove.” She smiled at the treasure lightly. She knew the spirits would haunt her if she removed a piece of the shimmering material, and she did not want that kind of monkey on her back.

Miyuki: Mei rolled around in the grassy shade of a tree. She had a bit of an itch, so she was using the grass to try and get at it. She stretched her arms into the air before rolling on her belly again with a kitty stretch and a yawn before standing up. She walked about to see what she could find. She then spied in the distance another female, looking at something. Cocking her head to the side, she curiuosly appraoched her. "What are you looking at?" she asked her.

Zingling: Kakali’s eyes widened as she heard the voice of the female, she most certainly wasn’t expecting company at the moment, and she noticed that she was in fact eyeing something up. Chewing her cheek silently she thought of a way to divert the females attention, but nothing seemed to be forming correctly. “I am looking at some stones.” Her tone was rather dry, trying to make it seem like she was just bored and stones were something to at least look at rather than have to get interested. “..but now I can stare at you!” She put on her best fake smile at she looked over at the female, hoping she wouldn’t notice her treasure.

Miyuki: Mei listened as she explained herself, just looking at stones? "Special stones?" she asked, she didn't see why you would look at NORMAL stones anyways. But when the other female suddenly mentioned staring at HER Mei folded her ears back, a little confused. "Umm...okay? then..." she said,t hen saw something glisten a little as she perked her ears up. "What was that?" she asked her, moving closer.

Zingling:
Kakali growled a little as the female drew closer for a look, she could not allow her to upset the spirits that created the stones! What happens if they decided to punish her for allow this random stranger to touch them?! “Stay away! Those stones are curse.” She picked herself up, the bird skull necklace swinging lightly around her neck. “It would be horrible to have them punish us both for touching them… though… they are pretty.” She looked back at them before looking up at Mei.

Miyuki: Mei gave her a strange look as she shouted and insisted they were cursed. Cursed? Seriuosly? Mei raised an eye brow and shook he r head with a chuckle. "Come now. You dont believe in such things do you? Stones like these some use to make jewerly for high ranking lions, or gods. They are hard to find which is why not everyone has them, you should consider yourself lucky you found such a lovely stone."said Mei with a smile.

Zingling: “I do find myself very lucky.” She said in a matter-of-factly voice. She was rather happy she had found the stones, but knew still, that they were very much curse. Those that were not gifted the stone often died soon after. Some even said the stone stole the lions soul. “…and I do believe it is a cursed stone.” She watched the female carefully but move away to allow her to view them. “Your name?”

Miyuki: "Curses are just stories told to keep cubs from making mistakes, or to keep lower ranking lions in line, or other species down really. I don't believe in such things." she said as she smiled at her. She hoped she didn't sound rude or anything. When she asked for her name, Mei smiled again. "Its polite to give your name first before asking for another's. But my name is Mei. And you are?"

Zingling: Kakali raised a brow at the other female, who was she to tell her what was polite and what wasn’t? Wasn’t she the one who was interrupting her in the first place? Clenching her jaw in aggravation, Kakali met Mei’s eyes with a soft glare. “If you only seen the poor lions that had decided to play with this glittering stone. You would understand then.” She shivered at the image that danced in her head

Zingling:
“I am Kakali.” She made a light bow, something she had always had a habit of doing, even if she didn’t care about the person in front of her. Although, she did seem to believe this female before her wouldn’t go touching her precious eye candy, so she decided a apology was needed. “I do apologize, I am very protective of things I consider treasure, and you happened to appear right as I was leaving. Never a good sign.”

Miyuki: Mei folded her ears back at the lioness's mini snap as she frowned. "Sorry...." she said as she lowered her head and turned to leave. She turned back when she heard her say her name as she nodded. "Nice to meet you Kakali. I hope I didn't bother you .I can get a bit nosey at times, but I mean no harm by it." she said with a sad smile before she heard the apology as she turned back to her and nodded. "Its alright. It happens." she said with a nod. "I have no intension of taking it or anything."

Zingling: Kakali smiled at that, satisfied with her answer before turning around and picking up a piece of the opal herself. She would give a piece of it to her, as a sign of appreciation. To give such a stone as this to someone was said to be a privilege. Strolling up to Mei, kakali smiled and dropped a piece of the rock next to her. “It is a curse to take it for yourself… but to give it to someone. It is a blessing. I thank you for not stealing it.”

Miyuki:
Mei was a little confused when the other female suddenly dropped the stone before her, looking back up at her with a confused look. "I thought you said it was cursed and you wanted to protect it?" she asked her, wondering why she had decided to give it to her. Then she explained her reasoning as she smiled and nodded to her. "Thank you, I will treasure it." she said with a smile as she sat placed her paw over it. "I have a nice spot by that tree over there. Want to join me?" she asked her grinning.

Zingling:
Kakali smiled softly at her offer. A tree would be nice to sit next to, maybe she could even watch the birds fly above her as she sat with Mei. She could tell her all about them to. Maybe Mei even knew a few things about birds. “Do you like watching the birds?” She asked out of the blue, looking over at the tree, which she was now headed for. She might as well enjoy her time.

Miyuki: Mei smiled, feeling the sun beating down on her pelt when she heard the question from the other female. She turned to her and nodded at the question. "Yes, I do. Their music is very lovely. I wish I could make music like they do." she said, thinking about it. She didn't know that lions could sing as well, to her only creatures like birds could do such things. Though she wished she could sing lik ea bird could...((she later loves music so much that she becomes an artisan for hte DW and sings and dances ;3))

Zingling: Kakali nodded, looking up at them. yes there song was beautiful. It reminded her of simpler times when she had the whole family together. Eyes dropped to the ground suddenly at the thought of them. No... she shouldn't think of them now. They were gone somewhere she rather not think about.
Shaking her head slightly as if that would rid her mind of them she looked to mei. "that gem there would make a beautiful piece of jewelry..."

Miyuki:
Mei hadn't paid much attention to any outward signs of Kakali being upset from the memories, she was in a bit of a daze and was rather dense to begin with. Though her ears did perk up when she heard the comment as she turned to her, then looked back at the gem. "Oooh, I htink ou are right! Maybe I can see if someone can make it into something nice for me. I am no good at crafts like that." she said as she pawed at the gem. It really was pretty...

Zingling: Looking to the sky Kakali chewed her cheek before looking down at Mei once more. Could she keep a secret such as the one she wished to tell her. Pondering the thought over a few times she nodded to herself. "I have heard tale that there is a Goddess that can craft anything out of barely anything. If you wish to quest for her you might come to find that gem made into something beautiful."

Miyuki: "Oh really? I didn't know such a being existed." said Mei curiously. She had never met any God's or Goddesses. Hmm interesting. "Any clue how to find her? Does she live in a specific place?" Mei wondered if it was simple, or difficult to meet such a goddess, and have her aid her in making a beautiful piece.

Zingling:
Kakali did not know much about them, but she knew for certain they were real. Nodding towards Mei she sighed lightly. "They, the Gods, come and go as they please. You have to make her interested in you for her to come." Looking at her bracelt she smiled, it came from no where but she knew it was the goddesses work.

Miyuki: "Make her...interested...hmm..." she said as she fiddled with the stone. "I wonder how I do that..." she said, more to herself then to Kakali. She then let out a big yawn as she turned back to the other female. "Maybe I can snoop around and see hwat information I can find on her to help." she said iwth a grin

Zingling: Nodding at Mei coment Kakali grined, "yes, I would suggest it. You never know what you might find from the words of others." Kakali turned towards the tree then back at Mei. It was time for her leaving, the sun was already high in the sky and soon would be gone leaving her no place to rest. "I must be off. Maybe the winds of fate will bring us together once more."

Miyuki: Mei nodded when Kakali mentioned, Mei just needed to not be so shy! She got nervous around new people...so asking random people might take longer then Kakli could be thinking. Oh well, she would try! Mei turned when she spoke about leaving. Mei frowned as she sighed and got up. "I see, that's too bad. I hope we can meet again soon." she said with a smile at the other female.

Zingling: Pulling herself away from Mei she looked back and nodded. She was slightly depressed about having to leave herself, but she knew she couldn't stay. The spirits would kill her if they ever found her. "I do hope." with that the waxwing colored female took off into a dash, rushing towards the sun, her little bracelt bouncing with every step.
