I always thought the whole menorah thing was pretty darn cool. I sound like such a n00b. I apologize. >< that's alright. Truthfully, Hannukah isn't such a big deal holiday. Because it's by Christmas, people usually assume it is. Our big holidays are earlier in the year, and end in the early fall. Hannukah is about an attack on a temple, and that after it was destroyed they were able to find enough oil to last one night, but instead it burned for eight nights. There's other fun stuff like Gelt(those chocolate coins) and dreidels and the meaning of the sides of it, but I won't get into that.
