Thaddeus Zyane he sat in his chair looking over his tomb contemplating today's lesson. He had been firmly instructed by the 'boss' that Luthor was to attend this class and to report to him if he learned anything or shown an interest in the class. He had also been informed to include a certian youth in the class to perhaps help moral.
Judging by the way the boss spoke it was apparant he felt the need to have the kid learn regardless if he really wanted to or not. Unwilling students always sadded Zyane, he couldn't understand why anyone wouldn't want to learn about such interesting things.
He mulled on it whilst reading in the dim candle lit room from the huge dusty tomb on his desk. He hoped both students would arrive on time...

Ciaran didn't really like the Labs but was excited to see his friend and was also excited about learning something new. He had always loved learning and reading new things. So Ciaran was very intreged to what was going to be learned.
Getting inside the building he blended with the shadows as he really didn't like the techs and cared not to let them know that he was comming there way and he even shocked a few before reaching the classroom. Peeking inside the room to see just who the teacher was and spoted Zyane and sorta relaxed but still slighly nervous, but he fully got into the classroom before he came out of the shadows.
"I take it your Mr. Zyane? I'm Ciaran. Also I'm wondering to what type of things we will be learning?" he asked before takeing a seat.

When he got word that it was time for the class that Vampy had insisted he got to Luthor felt himself grow both worried and angry, all but racing down the hall to where the classroom was said to be. There were only two reasons he was coming to the class, neither of which pertained to his actually wanting to be there or learn. No he was there to check on Ciaran due to his overwhelming mistrust of Vampy and because the b*****d had said if he went to class he would stay away from Almas for a while. There were only three people in the world he was really close to, Almas, Pepper, and Ciaran. As such he found he'd have to do unpleasant things from time to time to make sure that they were all kept safe... he had much to make for when it came to two of them after leaving the Labs for so long. A lifetime wouldn't be enough he was starting to think.
He nearly burst into the classroom, looking around before he spotted Ciaran. The teen froze in place for a moment, starred at the new look that his friend sported before he hurried over toward him, hands resting on his desk so he could lean in closer to inspect him. A soft sound of relief escaped him then, "Good, your alright." He murmured, plopping into the seat next to the one that Ciaran was in.
The small wings on Luthor's back were twitching and fluttering in a manner that showed his nervousness off quite easily as well as his relief over the situation. He had been worried, so worried, that Vampy would force his hand in the matter of this stupid class and as a result hurt someone to make sure he obeyed. He looked less then pleased as he looked over at the teacher that he was being forced to learn from and said nothing to him, instead appearing as though he were waiting for the class to start. The sooner it started the sooner it would be over and his half of the deal met.

Thaddues watched as the first boy entered the classroom he smiled pleasantly as he nodded his head to Ciaran's first question.
"Yes yes I am Mr. Zyane , Mr. Thaddeus Zyane. YOu can call me Thaddeus if you wish. Or Mr. Zyane is fine. Please please do sit down..." He continued when suddenly the other student burst into the classroom. He gave Luthor a raised eyebrow look when he didn't greet him or say anything at all and went to sit down. There was a lot of...things that seemed to be bothering that young lad.
Still he stood up moving his hair out of his eyes and then smiling at the pair.
"Greetings my students. As I just informed Ciaran, my name is Thaddeus Zyane. Or you can merly call me Mr. Zyane. I am a warlock by trade but will be teaching you the basic history of the worlds that your genetics spawn from." He started and then he made a gesture to the black board where there was already a diagram drawn on it. It showed four dividing lines and each section was labaled the top most being Heaven, Mortal Plain, Hell and the Underworld. Then each line was thickened and labeled as the Void or Barrier.
"If you have any questions as all I will be pleased to answer them."

Ciaran turned to hear another come bursting into the classroom and was as was excited to see that it had been Luthor even tho it hadn't been all that long ago since he had seen Luthor. A little puzzled to see his friend looked a little frazzled and was even more puzzled by what Luthor has said to him as he sat down next to him. Ciaran leaned closer to his friend to make sure it was just him that heard. "Yes I'm ok, should I have not been, or maybe I should have come to class smelly?" he said with a smile on his face in his attempts to chear up Luthor more.
Turning back when Mr. Zyane once more started to talk again and when he motioned to the black board and Ciaran just looked at it takeing it all in and trying to make sence of some of the things. As Sokan has given him a very basic talk about heaven and Hell, but not on the other things that was in the diagram. But he did have one burning question that sorta stemed from Sokan. "Mr. Zyane, is there water in Heven and Hell?"

Luthor looked over at him as he leaned in close, wings giving a little flutter before shrugging, "Its a long story, I am just glad to see your alright." He murmured before glancing over at the teacher and turned to look at what the teacher was going on about.
He found himself starring at the map that was laid out on the board and blinked a couple times, wait a second... he was here to learn about a really strange version of geography? What about that had Vampy in such a demanding mood? Odd... Questions? He looked over at Ciaran as he set to asking questions already before he found himself thinking on it. He was coming up a bit blank though, the teacher hadn't said enough to really bring about any questions just yet so he waited to see how he answered Ciaran.

Well that wasn't exactly the question he had expected but it didn't seem to throw him off his game. Instead he peered at Ciaran a moment before he nodded his head.
"Water yes, consider the worlds much like the one we are in...but just seperate from each other. Each one has their own plants and species as well creatures in them. " He answered the question before his gaze flickered to Luthor. He wasn't really sure but ...there was something about that boy that seemed to remind him off the boss.
"Now," he said as he turned back to the board looking it over with mild contemplation before he took his chalk in hand.
"Heaven...isn't its true name...it was a word created by humans a long time ago...the Celestial world...as it is more accurately described, contains the angels and virtues. Their world is made up mostly of magic, and unlike your picture books portray, they do NOT live on fluffy clouds. Their world looks remarkably like our own with the exception not a thing is out of place. Everything has a purpose...it really would drive a human being insane being there, unless you were the type that enjoys rigid conformity." He snorted and by the sounds of it he himself didn't sound impressed with heaven at all.

Listening to his question being answered as he always wondered as when he first met Sokan, Ciaran had thought that he might have been a demon by the way he looked until Sokan told him about his home and when he was told flatly by Sokan that he was a being that lived under the water that was adapeted by his enviroment and nothing more. But he thought it was cool that there was something like that other than here.
Ciaran had to stifle a giggle as he was just thinking about heaven in just the way that Zyane said it wasn't and to him it sounded boring but in a way intersting as he would have to worry about being forgotten or going insane. But if Heaven wasn't like in the books was Hell the same way.
"So would Hell be different from what is in the books here?"

"I can't say I have thought for a moment they lived in a world of fluffy clouds given what those pricks did to my Dad." Luthor muttered in a rather unhappy manner, though the comment was mostly to himself. He didn't think this guy would really care one way or the other if he were like anyone else in this place. All that mattered to them was their jobs or sucking up to Vampy, the only one he'd met so far that was at least a little better then the rest was Aden but that was because of how much he'd helped Pepper and Almas in the past.
Perhaps he was being a bit on the racist side, there were some of the angels that lived here that weren't so bad. Hyacinth hadn't been though he was gone now, the others he didn't know as well since after meeting Hyacinth the next one he met was Anani and she scared him off meeting any others.
The more the teacher spoke the less and less he found himself liking the idea of 'Heaven' and almost found it amusing how it seem a place that people strived to go when they tortured their for 'conformity'. Not that he had an exact clue as to what happened to his Dad when eh was there, one day he'd finally get the truth out of him.
He found himself looking the map over again, wondering where the Dream Realm was located.

Zyane gave a laugh at Ciaran's next question he smiled and then ran a hand through his hair.
"Actually hell is rather...aptly described. Though there are no rivers of lava, it is a very barren landscape. What is alive there are mostly carnivorous, it literally is a eat or be eaten sort of world. Their world has evolved to ...well expand their food ...choices due to the influence of the mortal plain. But that is only a more recent developement, perhaps in the last couple of centuries. Demons for the most part ...are carnivores. Though the exception coming from Gluttons...since they are onmivores. Also known to eat anything they can get their chubby hands on." He continued, before he looked to Luthor.
"Truth be told you are right and wrong. For what we see is wrong they find perfectly acceptable behavoir there. You are born to your job. Everyone goes with the flow. They are the order as much as Hell is the chaos. " He continued before he pointed to the 'Void' or 'barrier' the thick lines he used to divide the worlds.
"This...is the barrier..or void. It..was ressurected...a long time ago. Perhaps though more recent than you would of imagined. If you wonder why Humans idolize angels and fear demons it is mostly because either species were able to cross over to the mortal plain. Most of the ..unique species found on earth are actually breedings of angels and demons with other species. Were's ...dragons...and other species are actually derived from breedings from long ago. They have become their own species now like any species that becomes abundant." He continued, "but the barrier was created to stop the constant wars that were occuring between those who live in heaven and those who live in hell. To save all three worlds from being destroyed. Now only the more powerful of either species is able to cross the barrier, and even then it is quite a feat of magic to perform."

Ciaran blushed for a second at the laugh that his question and stared at the desk for a little as he thought though what was being told as his tail slowly wagged behind him as he thought. He thought it would be neat to see Heaven and Hell but not to live in eather as he himself really didn't belong in eather and wondered to what it might have been like in hell for a demon of Envy, he just couldn't get his mind around it at all. It sounded a place he didn't want to live in and gave a little shudder to the thought that did cross his mind.
He drove his last thought out of his head for now and listened to what was being told next. Then a though crossed his mind and would save it for later to ask Sokan about as he found Sokan so intersting. "So if this barrier stops from both sides comeing and fighting each other freely, then to why were we created to have both sides or are we attempts to be better weapons than our DNA doners? For those who are the strongest?" he asked as he had always wondered to why they were created and he didn't like the ideas of maybe just being tools in a larger game. He just wanted to be with those he loved and nothing more.

Luthor didn't like it at all, the teacher sounded far to cold and clinical the way he spoke of things. Perfectly acceptable, huh? That was total crap... but again it brought him full circle to wondering what exactly it was that caused the falling out between Almas and Heaven. He gave a grumbling sound, hating having so much information missing from him.
He rested his elbows on the table in front of him and his head in his hands, listening to what was being said before part of it finally caught his attention, "So that deer woman Pepper and I met some time ago, was she the results of those breedings?" He asked of the teacher, she had seemed kind of angelic, hadn't she? The way her eyes looked especially... so pretty and unlike anything he'd seen around the Labs before. He looked over at Ciaran as he asked his question before looking at Zyane once more."
"Wait, could angels and demons breed on their own if they wanted? Would it not work without those idiot techs fooling around? Or would it be like some sort of Romeo and Juliet thing?" He asked, finding it a little odd that Vampy hadn't tried that yet, though he supposed the angel that was having the baby or making it depending on gender wouldn't exactly be to angelic anymore, would it?

Zyane paused as the topic strayed off course from history to more recent events. He turned looking a bit solemn before answering Ciaran's question.
"I cannot really answer that question Ciaran, mostly due to the fact as to why children are created in such a fashion....who knows? Perhaps its to try and make peace? Perhaps to create a new race? A superior one? Perhaps it is all a gamble....I cannot say...I can only theorize." He replied after a moments hesitation.
He then turned his attention to Luthor's question, "Dee....r...wom...OH you mean the Nuetral. No, she is not a product of angelic breeding. She is a nuetral. A gaurdian of the our plain. We do have our own interesting history you know. Nuetrals are more like creatures mixed with animal or plant characteristics. Most of humans legends and myths have a grain of truth to them..the dyrads, nymphs...and satyrs, at least some of the purest lines of satyrs...are creatures who protect this world. Their name derives from the fact that they are neither evil or good. They generally stay neutral.." He explained and he was just plain thrilled that his two students were actually THINKING. And asking questions. Strange...random ones but he really didn't care.
"As to...celetial and demonic breeding...let us just say it is highly discouraged. Yes it is rather like Romeo and Juliet if you want to consider it that way. A celestial that involves itself with a demon usually is cast out of their society if not worse punished for it. A demon...well ...usually would rape and kill...they don't often mate with those outside of their own breed. Much like animals today..only due to outside involvement has new species occured." He explained.

Ciaran listened to the answer he was given, he didn't know what to think but at least for now those answers were good enought for now. Listening to the question that Luthor had asked and the answer that was given. Looking at the diagram once more trying to think of something.
"Now nothing is never perfect, but could there be flaws within the barrier or like a little backdoor that would alow others to sneek into another world that is not there own? Also are there anyother types of Guardians besides the Nuetrals?" he asked as he thought it would be cool to see a deerwomen or something like it.
