I thought this would be a good way for those of us actively involved in ending abortion to give suggestions to those who would like to be. So what are you doing to help stop abortion? To you protest outside clinics? Answer phones at your local right to life chapter? Volunteer to pass out info at the fair? Put bumper stickers on your car?
In addition to posting what it is you do, provide links if possible as to how others can get involved to. For example if there is a website you buy your bumper stickers from or a site for others to look up volunteering opportunities in their area.

Hmm, I've thought about that, too. I've never been able to do much since I'm not very old, and I would hate to be criticised for standing outside clinics with large posters... I mean, I probably would. Yeah, I think I would, I think it would work. Bumper stickers work, too, maybe I should use those someday.

you can also wear prolife t-shirts. They are available at christianshirts.net (I believe that is the correct address.) And at victorywon.com and heritagehouse76.com they have prolife jewelry. And even as a teenager you can still volunteer. Contact your local crisis pregnancy center or right to life chapter and you can do things like stuff envelopes, answer phones, and pass out information at booth at various events like the state fair and cinco de mayo festival.

does that site have any non riligious shirts? I beilive religion is a good enough reason to be pro-life, but it shouldn't be what you base your pro-life attitude directly on. If you do you just end up sounding liek a zelout and are discluded form any arguments the choicers have.

they have lots of shirts that have nothing to do with religion. I agree religion shouldn't be the basis of any argument

I don't know. I'm lost.
I want to make it my life's work. but I'd be an awful lawyer. I'm horrible at math, so science isn't a very good field. I dunno what I can do. All I know is that this is what I want to devote my life to. I just...don't know how.

In high school I was a member of the pro-life club and I used to go protest at the state capital every year. It was the highlight of our year and we provided a huge teenage presence there. College life prevents me from doing that these days. But once I graduate, I will attempt to get back into doing that. I'll even try to go to Washington DC one year. It's not too far of a trip. I also have a magnetic ribbon on my car. You can find it here but I got mine for free because my grandmother's church gives them out. Oh and I vote too. wink My grandmother...wow...80 years old and she protests at the clinic every Saturday. She is NOT a silent woman when it comes to her opinion and she doesn't care what others think.

I am going to school right now to become a nurse. I want to work in labor and delivery or at an OB's office. While doing that I want to get go on to get my bachelor's and eventually masters in nursing. With that I want to open a crisis pregnancy center that offers free ultrasounds and counseling and low cost prenatal care. I also want it to be a place to help pregnant women get what they need whether it is medical insurance, housing, maternity clothes, adoption assistance, or to get out of an abusive relationship. Like so many choicers say, illegalizing abortion is not going to end it. While I want to see it made illegal I really want to see it end. To do that I think more has to be done to educate and help women facing crisis pregnancies so they won't feel as if abortion is their only option.

Good, you have opinons and you should be free to share them weither people like it or not I don't do anything because I believe in free will and their choice will ultimently affect them later on in life.
