There's been a whole bunch running through my back yard recently.
Just now, one was running right up to my back door and running across the railing, the shed and the barbeque. I have this suspicion that he's noticed my cats going bananas and is teasing them now. He keeps running back and forth with the same pinecone and they're so alert they're twitching.

Funny! biggrin
I've never seen a squirrel. It's not the sort of thing they put in a zoo. xd One day when I go to the US or Canada and I see squirrels, I'll be the biggest tourist ever and take a billion photos.

When I was in new york some guy was trying to take pictures of the squirrels by convincing them there was food in his hand, but they'd always figure it out and leave before he could get his camera ready. So I held out some of my bagel and he got some good shots. I love squirrels. They don't bother you like some city critters do, but they have been stealing all the seed from our bird feeders.

But... you live in the same city as kitsy. Which means you have squirrels just running around in the street. So why do you need to see them in a zoo? xd Or are they different species of squirrel? o.O

Tell me they're at least flying squirrels, or those huge black ones that only seem to live in ontario. If it just a bunch of red squirrels thats ridiculous xD Shells: I would love to be around to see that xD I'd take you to a spot on my campus where they're a butload of really territorial ones and they sit in their trees and screeeeam at you.

Hahaha, they sound so comical. biggrin Animals make the weirdest noises. Occaisonally you can hear the possums around my house making freaky hissing or screaming noises. And at night I can hear them running across the roof. Then you have koalas. I got this from a website: The grunts and bellows of amorous male koalas are so loud they can sometimes be heard several kilometres away. xd

They're like Super Methy Red Squirrels. I believe that is the technical term for them. Seriously, they're like squirrels after an all-night sugar binge topped off with some Red Bull. It's near the monkeys in a teeny tiny display like.. behind a building. I'm not surprised you've never seen it! Aha! I found the picture!

Princeton has black squirrels. Apparently that's one of their many claims to fame, but I'm pretty sure I've seen them other places too. I want to see a tabby squirrel, or a calico squirrel.

They get awfully bold. I can't find it anywhere online, but there was a video on TV a few weeks back of a squirrel climbing up a little boy's shorts. I think I'll stick to my cartoon koalas :c They are never 'amorous' and hence don't bellow. They're just adorable and they frolic under sunny sky and rainbows: biggrin Ki: Whaaa! Those look insane. Mental note to go find them.
