It seems like that thread drew up quite a bit of controversy. Ehhh I hate how it happens so often where Christians go "Atheists are ignorant and blinded by the truth" and then we respond with "Christians, YOU are the ignorant ones who follow a religion without good evidence, purely on faith."
And we pretty much both establish our positions with those two lines... however, even if I do say stuff like that, I do think that the points I would offer after (if the discussion were to continue) are valid points that Christians never really reasonably answer =/
Some of the arguments Christians offer though (in an attempt to disprove atheism) are just HORRIBLE. They try to disprove evolution or they try to make the Big Bang theory sound absurd and try to equate "theory" with "random bullshit guess from some scientist". It can sometimes be quite frustrating.

Yes, and even if they did somehow disprove evolution, I don't really know how that would translate to "Christianity is true." It's really just another point to the scientific process.
