~I've taken the liberty to create a simple "Discussion Hall" for all council members to engage in rather than keep on making new threads. Otherwise I believe if we continue to post new threads over and over, it'll only clutter the council hall. And when necessary, whenever we as the council make our final decision based on a particular idea or thread, the thread, in which we council members make our discussions in, should then be deleted or relocated in the Archive subforum. If any of you do not feel that this new thread is necessary, please share your vote upon it so that we can decide if this thread can stay or not. If not, I will be willing to take it off myself. Thank you for your time!~

~As for a good start to put this Discussion thread to good use, I wish to discuss about Reddeye's recent post, the " Soul Reapers of the Seireitei (Recruiting forum/help)" thread. Reddeye, if you are reading this, please understand that I very much acknowledge your enthusiasm of you winning Vice Captain guild rank. Honestly, congratulations! But I must advise to you that this does not mean you are free to post new thread in the public forum section whenever you see fit. Even for Cookeh, as a guild leader, he too must always abide by the council law and therefore must never do anything without the council's consent. By following the council law, we represent a guild that does not rely on just one leader but together as a united council. And that is what defines us as a true family that works together. If I may? I would also like to quote what I had clearly stated that pertains to the council law. Doing so should help remind those what we truly stand for.~
Zalian ~Well to clarify what many of you are interpreting within the ranks, the rank as "council" member is not listed higher than captain. Becoming a captain already means that you ARE a council member. Even the guild leader is part of the council and follows the laws of the council always. We all do. That is what defines us as a truly strong guild and one that strives in unity. And through unity, we acknowledge equality. Hence we treat each other equally.~
~As for the concerns of Vice Captaincy guild rank, it is within my opinion, as I clearly shared with Cookeh, that it is considered a much larger responsibility and one that should not be taken lightly. It is a job that requires improving advertisement within the outer walls of this guild. Banners, main page customization and the like. As such, I believe that offering Vice Captaincy to all council members only destroys the true purpose of possessing such a responsibility. However, again, this is merely my side of the opinion in a most unbiased manner, which my purpose, as a member of the council, is to share insight and one that can help this guild operate more efficiently.~

~Due to the matter of almost entirely no council member have been using this discussion thread, I'd thought it would be necessary to start posting here and give a good reminder to you all why it was made in the first place. I'll keep it simple and short and advise that you read the first post above. Again, as it is stated within that post, this still NEEDS a majority vote of whether we are going to put this thread to good use or not. It's up to the council and quite frankly, I have waited long enough for all of you to provide that when none have done so. And sorry to say Cookeh, but I have to include you even though you posted here but have not provided a proper vote yet.~

Seeing as how this thread is still being unused and nobody has provided a proper vote on it, I am left with no choice but to announce that this thread is an "inconclusive usage" thread. In other words, this thread will continue to be used for the sole purpose of what it's meant to. And within time, if people begin to engage themselves more into using this thread, then it will be official that it works and will continue to do so. If no captains continue NOT to engage themselves to enter discussions within this thread, then it will simply be removed within a matter of time that it has not been used.
That being put aside, I'd like to talk about the inactivity that cycles within the guild. This is a common, yet progressing problem that must be properly updated every few weeks or so. While it is true that we receive a good decent number of new members each week, it does not alter the fact that inactivity cycles around the guild almost through every day, through every week, and through every month. However, it is understandable that within guilds of ALL kinds, inactivity is an inevitable fact that is likely to occur. Regardless, there are other ways to monitor these problems and update activity to subside INactivity at a massive rate. And that's IF most of us learn to do so fluently.
Hence, I've decided to do some old archive searching. In other words, I've been looking for something that can be deemed as a solution for this problem. I call it the "Activity Monitor System" It's a special designed PM that I put together as a defaulted message via provided speech. To put it quite simply, the message in itself is already designed to apply the proper warning for the inactive member. All you need to do is edit your name before sending it so that you are able to identify yourself to the inactive member. I'll leave the specific details aside for now though. All in all, I do not have it prepared yet as I am still in search of it within my archives.
Now aside from that solution, there is a somewhat slight concern of mine and would like to start off with one particular guild inactive, yet gaia active member of ours. This individual I speak of goes by the name of ll Haiku ll. She's a member of the Espada, if I'm not mistaken. And much like many of the Espada members, there are rarely any active at all. The only two I can think of is Dakota and Brittania. But as for Haiku herself, I have seen her constantly in Hollywood server (and that's whenever I find the time to walk about), which begs the question...if she is active enough to be around such places like Hollywood, why has she not dedicated that amount of time to this guild? This issue in itself is something we need to bring to her attention. If we do not, there is no point in having her as an Espada if she is not reliable.

My apologies for not posting, but I would also vote yes on this thread. As I have said before Zalian, as long as your not making a direct attack at me, and I do not view it as such (which I have not yet) then it is ok. Your careful with your words, which I find a good thing. Even if you were not careful with your words, and I found you making attacks at me, I would still vote to have this thread, it is a very helpful one.

Lol. Well not sure where the impression of me even "MIGHT" ever intending to attack you, let alone any one of the council members, came from really but uhh...ok. ^^'; Just following procedures as always. Nothing abnormal. Lol. But thanks though, Reddeye. I greatly appreciate your honesty. That being put aside, we still need to discuss about some of the topics I brought up on my earlier posts. Such as Haiku and the Activity PM system. Anyone have any inputs on those?

In the Haiku situation I would say demote her if we know she is online but clearly neglecting the guild.
I would like to bring up the 13oner issue. It seems we have no member named this but they're taking an Espada seat. I've tried looking for him/her but the person who has posted in that fourm seems to not be in the system either.
one more issue, I would like a massive sweep of members who have 0 posts but they've been in the guild for a month.

I have sent Haiku a warning letter, Here is her response II Haiku II I can see why that would be a concern to you, about my inactivity in the guild. I just don't know about it anymore. It was fun at first. But nobody seems interested in the Espada themselves, and I have no friends that roleplay to become one with me. As you can see, Shes only lost intrest because the espada are not active enough.

Then it's not her fault, the fault here lies with the inactive espada.
Hmm... troublesome.
