Alright, he was ready! He had lived with the strange butterfly winged stallion Cadyern since his hatching. Granted that it wasn't exactly the best of starts as he had made the larger, at the time, stallion fall to the ground and play dead. A HUGE laugh to himself on the inside, the young stallion was going to prove to his adopted father and teacher that he was ready for the outside world and going to do him proud. So with tail held high, he strut out into the foliage to search for a mare to try and woo. Granted he had seen Cadeyrn around with a few, getting an idea on what he was to do, at times he was the one getting said mare to come to Cadeyrn. Yes he had been oh so cute when he was younger, so innocent and naive. Well Perhaps not so much, always peeping from the cleaver hiding places he picked and following closely.
"Today I make my father proud." Jadyn boasted to himself getting up his courage to walk up to any more he happened to find. It was a nice day to meet someone as well, the sun was shinning and the air warm. Lovely day indeed.

That mare had been weird. Bloodstained, her head covered in a skull, all of that stuff had made Rayenn creeped out. No wonder why she'd breathed a sigh of relief when she finally got away. Even now she was half relieved that Sauda was gone, but half paranoid she would sneak up on her and drink her blood. Just the thought of it made her spine tingle, which wasn't a very comfortable feeling when you were walking. In fact, it was so weird that she stopped to shake every once in a while, her mane flopping around and tail stretching out behind her. She pranced a little, her white-socked legs moving at the same time, as with her black ones, then continued on her way. It was when she saw a flash of brilliant aqua and golden-green--nearly blinded her, it did--that she stopped, blinking, her head cocked a little. Who was this? Some random kirin out for a stroll? Then she saw its beard, long horn, and very fluffy fetlocks, and realized that this wasn't just any kirin. This was a stallion. Probably one of those tail-chasers, to boot. It was with a good deal of caution, but also curiosity, that she approached. "Hey. What's a pretty boy like you doing out here?" Without even meaning to, she had started to flirt, and she barely realized it when her head raised up just a little to let her mane flow down her neck in a much prettier way. Her tail flicked around her hind legs as she gave him a small smile.

Head turning quickly, Jadyn's ears flicked themselves forwards alertly. Wow, wow, wow, now this was something, a smile crossing his muzzle, he sauntered over towards the mare. Tail sweeping the ground behind him, ruffling the leaf litter a bit as he went. Magenta eyes half lidded themselves as he spoke, "Well hello to you too my lovely. Nice day ain't it?" Yes, just play it smooth, cool and confident. Walking into unfamiliar grounds, Jadyn was bound to slip up here and there, but he was going to try his hardest to woo this one. For his father's sake, he just had to land a hit. Head swaying a little from side to side, he looked the black and white splotched mare over.
It was a few minutes before her words completely sank into his skull. "Me? Oh, just wandering, thinking. What a lovely day it is and how the sun makes your coat and scales shine like small gems." Yeah, he had to keep playing it that way, it was the only way. That's what he had been taught anyways, the only way to land a lady fair, sweet talk and maybe a little tail chasing if need be.

Rayenn smirked as the brightly-hued stallion came closer, his eyes half-closed in the typical way stallions' ended up once they saw a pretty mare. And oh yes, was she pretty. She'd seen it happen many times in her old herd, with all the males that were in no way related to her coming over with the same half-lidded, smiling, prancing look about them. Smitten, they were. But she'd never let them get too far, of course. Just enough to satisfy her want of a sort of boytoy. Then she yelled, kicked, and did all she could to get the silly brute away. And each time they had, looking more dejected and upset than the last. Here was just another one to practice on, to have a little fun with.
"Indeed it is," she said, glancing up at the sky a little and letting the sun reflect off her black scales. She looked back, her deep red-brown eyes blinking slowly and ears pricked to him. "Wandering, hmm? Same as me, I suppose. I'm just wandering here, too, looking for a stallion who can make me happy." She smiled a bit more at his compliment, her tail swishing again. "Or really, just someone who can keep me safe. There's dangerous creatures out there, and I need someone brave who can protect me. A mare like myself...well, I'm not as strong as you probably are."

Cadeyrn wasn't far from where Jadyn had left him. Half of him wondered if he should follow the younger stallion close behind. Shaking his head, no he would just seem like a worried father, he couldn't show that side of him. In fact he didn't want to admit that he had grown a bit attached to the young one. Children were always bothersome, and always will be. The monarch stallion couldn't admit to himself that his views on foals might be changing. Instead of going himself he would sent his companion to keep an eye on the little one.Hellhound followed Jadyn close but kept silent so that th estallion would not know he was being followed, when the bright green striped stallion stopped the little lizard stayed in the bushes watching intently
