Hey, does anyone know if you can transfer Pokemon from a GameBoy Advance game to one of the DS games? I have a pretty awesome team and I'm afraid the legends (my pokemon) will be forgotten due to their cartridge prisons. Any info will be great! biggrin
For any one who wants to know... My team is...
Kabuto - Lv. 97 (got it in pkmn yellow, wont let i evolve) MewTwo - Lv. 71 (pkmn yellow and NO I didn't use a game shark!) Gloom - Lv. 89 (pkmn gold, don't wanna evolve it) Hitmonlee - Lv. 71 (pkmn yellow) Raichu - Lv.96 (pkmn yellow my first pkmn ever!)

Of course... I'm surprised you don't know this, but after beating the Elite Four, just go to Pal Park. It's kinda near Sandgem Town. You have to surf there. So, uh... yeah. This is probably the wrong forum. >.> Edit: Wait... What the ********? Those games aren't GBA!

Trade your Yellow to Silver/Gold/Crystal. Transfer them to Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald. Put them in DS with Diamond/Pearl/Platinum and put them into the Pal Park.
You could skip the "To S/G/C" and trade them straight to R/S/E I think. You need R/S/E for Pal Park though.

You're really new to DS Pokemon, aren't you?
Yes, they're the same, it's just a little minigame for you to go through to get them all.

Pokemon yellow isn't a gameboy advance game, and therefore doesn't fit in slot 2.
Your DS Can't even play it.
If you had a gameboy advance (Generation III pokemon) game and DS with a second slot(DSi lacks one) You can access the pal-park after beating the elite four in Pokemon Diamond, Pearl or Platinum.

Yeah... I'm pretty new to the DS game. I'm pretty old school when it comes to video games. I have access to all the pkmn games, so it's only a matter of time til "The League" is reassembled. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't wasting my time. biggrin

Derp Pokemon's stat storing changed between generation I and II, and the actual method by which gameboy's transferred data changed between generation II and III.

Well, they would have to be GBA games first. You'd put it in the GBA slot, choose transfer pokemon on main menu, pick your six, they can't have HM moves, go to Pal Park, you don't have to battle them, just throw the pokeball, and it will be the same level. Extremely easy.

You can't trade from G/S/C to R/S/E/Fr/Lg.
They changed the format, COMPLETELY. Data is sent in a COMPLETELY different way now.
The only reason you can use R/S/E/FR/LG pokemon in The newest games is because the DS can just read them from the slot two.
