Tizzy could easily be determined as weird. She was, after all, not human and had strange tastes in what was and wasn't a proper lesson. As such, she decided that for a little one who is quite active (as research on Adelle somehow showed her), it would be good to teach how to take things, and not be constantly needing to be in motion.
As such, she had books and small objects of various sizes. These would be balanced upon the books and if one didn't remain still, they'd fall and a penalty would be gained. There was a prize for completing the lesson properly. Too many penalties, however, would not only spend the prize, but cost the young girl. Or at least, that was the way Tizzy was going to tell Adelle it would go. What she considered a prize was anyone's guess as she stood in front of a white board to write up the beginning score in a strange foreign language.

Adelle was very much the hyperactive child that her file dictated. Of course, thanks to -as awful as that sounds- her accident, she'd been a bit calmer lately, getting at least a bit better at directing her energy. Of course, if something exciting was going on, she was unable to contain herself. And, after all, what was more exciting than learning how to do things that didn't have to do with school?
Her wings fluttered a bit behind her as she walked into the classroom, the metal body parts pulling against her back as closely as they were able to without hurting her in the least. Fidgeting with the pointer finger of her left hand, she smiled at the woman that she found in the room, rocking back and forth only a moment more before bouncing up to her, continuing her rocking. "H'llo there~" she said happily, waving with the still-complete hand. "Are you my teacher?"

Tizzy nodded brightly. "Yes, yes I am. You would be Adelle then?" the being inquired, her glowy hair flaring a little for no particular reason as she said this. Sometimes it just did that.
Tizzy directed Adelle over to a comfortable mat on the floor, not quite waiting for a response. "You'll be learning to balance things today."

"MmHmm, that's what Momma called me~" Adelle responded happily as she bounced a bit, taking the offer of the seat easily and trying to keep her wings more calm than the rest of her. It was a challenge, but she was doing so well enough. In the meantime, Sutry was clinging tightly to her arm, restraining its movement quite a bit. The young girl remembered her manners a moment later. "And what's your name, ma'am?"
She tipped her head when she said she was going to be learning to balance things, all of the meanings of that flooding her mind instantly. Kammy reached out to pet at the teacher's knee as best he could reach. "Umm... like balance what kinda things?"

"I am Tizzy." the woman replied calmly, not noticing Kammy's attempts at petting her. This might be because she was more absorbed in her lesson, or just because she didn't have feeling in her legs. Though the tentacle might notice that they weren't exactly as soft or fleshy as a human's leg.
"We'll be doing a bit of a competition to see how long you can keep from dropping certain items. It will require you to sit still and keep them up and balanced when you move. As you succeed, you will gain points. If you fail, you lose them. At the end, if you have enough points, you'll get a prize, but if you've lost too many, you'll be paying for it."

"Nice t'meet you, Tizzy!" Adelle said sweetly, wings fluttering a bit. "I like your name~" Kammy continued attempting to pet the leg, but upon noting its abnormality in hardness, he poked a bit harder before pulling back, a little freaked out by the weird feeling of it. Big brown eyes only got bigger at the explanation of the lesson and Adelle nodded rapidly, understanding and being rather afraid of what 'paying for it' entailed.
"Alrighty. I think I can do that. Or I can try real hard!" she said happily, bouncing a bit before stopping and making a sheepish face. "Wull, at least, if I can hold still long enough." She nodded sagely and tried to slow her motions a little bit from their usual vigor. "Okay, okay, so what 'm I gon'na balance first?"

"This pillow." Tizzy told her, handing it to the girl. "This will be a practice round and there will be no points given or lost." she assured her. "Just try to keep it up there and don't move till I say, and you will have won. This will not be for too long of a time."

Adelle took the pillow from Tizzy's hands when it was given to her, watching the woman for her instruction as she bounced, before realizing that, well, she couldn't bounce or she would lose; and she didn't really want to lose. Taking a deep breath, she put the pillow up on top of her head. Her knee bounced a bit at first before the girl started holding her breath, trying to keep from moving at all as her head started getting dizzy and her face started changing from red to purple.

"Breath, young one." Tizzy stated calmly. "Your time is up but I would like you to practice once more. You have to keep breathing for the times will get longer and if you don't breath, you will pass out before you're done."

Adelle let out the breath melodramatically when her teacher told her to breath, dislodging her pillow from its resting place on top of her head. She watched her teacher with a faint blush on her face, nervous because she hadn't done it quite right and because she hadn't known that holding your brother could make you pass out. She nodded when the instructions were finished and took another deep breath, putting the pillow on her head.
Through the period of time, she took several more deep breaths and, though her knee was bouncing obnoxiously the entire time, she actually managed to keep the pillow from rocking too terribly, smiling to herself at that fact. She was getting better then, right? Because... because this time, the pillow didn't fall or slip, and she didn't get all dizzy. Or hold her breath!

"Much better." Tizzy praised quietly. "You will need to work on that knee but that will take time. Next we will try something that will not break as easily for your next round. I have here a book." she said, handing the girl a lightweight hardback novel. "It will hurt a tad if it falls, which is more reason to not drop it."

Adelle kept with her breathing even as she moved the pillow off of her head, sitting there and trying to breath evenly, which was a hard thing for the little girl to do. She nodded a bit when her teacher told her to work on keeping her knee still, or at least implied that she would would need to learn to keep it still. "MmKay," she said, nodding again and taking the book, placing it on the most flat part of her head delicately and sitting up straight, trying to take deep breaths and succeeding quite well. For a moment; thankfully, she barely made it past the end of the time before she started bouncing again. The girl smiled sheepishly, rubbing the part of her leg that the book had fallen on. "Oops."

"Don't worry, you passed your time. You can run around the room for a few moments." Tizzy said, carefully picking up a pot so Adelle didn't trip over it on her break.
