Role Play Discussions (with a rule)

~Well since now there is a proper Role Play discussion thread, I suppose this will allow me to talk about my insights on how these RP threads are running. Quite frankly, and to unfortunately be blunt in the matter, I do not believe there seems to be a true plot or any effort into putting originality into these RP stories. I really am sorry, Reddeye. But again, this is MERELY my opinion only and I will understand if many of you disagree with me. After all, the purpose of this thread IS discussing about RPs, what we can change, what is in our opinion of them, and what can we apply. But I digress. The matter at hand is that I've noticed how these RP stories are put together.~

~And again, to be blunt, yet respectfully honest, these..."plots"...are not exactly well put together. They just seem too short, inaccurate, and somewhat obscured as to what each of them are leading to exactly. All there seems to be are battles without a real motive and if there ever seems to be a motive behind it, it always ends up becoming a cliche "take over the seireitei/world" or some other world the enemy wants. In other words, I guess they just seem far too simple in my opinion. But please understand that this is by no means of disrespecting your work, Reddeye. I simply just have a far different view of stories. I guess my only excuse for my bluntness is that I watch tons of movies, do a lot of critiquing, and have participated in MANY RP stories in my time. And through such experience, I've always worked hard on developing not just the aspect of creativity, but more so on the aspects of constructive criticism.~

~For now, I simply wanted to share my view of things pertaining to the RPs within this subforum and serving this thread's purpose by discussing about them honestly and straight forwardly. But alas, I would like to now move on to the next idea that I wish to share. To make this short and simple, I have been working on a brand new RP story and one that I only recently put together a few days ago. My original plan is to present this within The Gotei Elite guild in order to bring in something truly epic and adventurous to my family. And those few of them, who are veterans of the GE family, will most definitely enjoy my new work since they've participated in my older RP long ago. However, while it did reach extremely far as it had gotten, it did not fully complete the story due to some other unfortunate matters that had happened in the past (before the GE was born).~

~Eventually, there were some secret projects that I had not gotten the chance to use and were left in the midst. However, after much time I had spent as a retired captain of the GE, I had decided, a few days ago, to do some digging on old archives that I have not put to use. And eventually, I found my old project that I was working on for my old RP, which of course my old project was quite a masterpiece and one of my best work yet. However, after doing some re-editing, I wanted to recreate and apply a new story so that my old project can fit right in. Unfortunately, I am not at liberty to disclose any specific information via contents of my old project. At least not yet. All in all, I wish to get to the point already, as I'm sure many of you wonder why I speak of this newly created RP when I stated that I am planning to present it to the GE.~

~Well, luckily for you all, I've decided to test this newly created RP out first. And consider yourselves as the first people to get VIP passes to experience an EXCLUSIVE Beta RP story. You all will be the first to experience a Bleach RP that holds much promise. HOWEVER...I'm sure there will most likely be some errors within the story. And if not, that's great! But if there are errors of ANY kind, I want you all to post here and honestly share your constructive criticism. And please, do not feel hesitant. I will accept ANY criticism, whether they are positive or negative. So long as they are valid and helpful to improve it, I will gladly relish the criticism. But alas, I am not exactly ready to present the RP story now, for I do wish to forward it to the council first and receive approval to present it the public. However, I will give out an exclusive look at a title to this newly created RP that I have been working on. In fact, I put in two titles and am now at a stand still. Therefore, I wish to acquire feedback as to what many of you think is a better title.~

~Lol. I understood the first time and appreciate your understanding as well. There's no need to re-clarify it more than once. ^^ But anyway, if you truly wish to reveal to me the main plot of your story, I'd be more than happy to accept your offer. In fact, I'll even do what I can to assist you in anything that you may wish to add to it so that it is that much of a better RP. After all, constructive criticism is very helpful when it is shared by many people who are skilled in this sort of department, wouldn't you agree?~

~After doing some tweaking, re-editing, PMing inactive espada members (not naming), creating rules, and making a proper opening, I'm finally nearing the time to open up the RP, "Bleach: Awakened Origins"! And thanks to all of you, who gave in your input and votes, I've decided to stick to that title. ^^ Just remember that the RP is still a beta opening. In essence, you all are getting an exclusive VIP pass to try this RP out before it is released in GE. =) Again, thank you all for everything!~
