Thanks Pa Rot for the name. And so our tale begins, but first the rules. Exciting no?

Evolving Requirements

(These requirements must be solo role-played; All these separate role-plays will be within one thread; be sure to keep all of your Role-Plays obviously identified and separated. Each post will consist of a minimum of five whole sentences. Use detail and make it interesting.)

MENOS
Your characters Initial Death and Re-Birth as a Hollow: (How your character died, the reason why they where not sent to soul society by a Shinigami, and the reason they remained on Earth.) To evolve to the next stage your new hollow must begin to consume other hollows to gain more power, after they have fed they will combine their spiritual forces with other hollows to form themselves into a Gillian. After you have completed this role-play continue to the next stage. [4 posts] or [6 or more posts for Vasto Lord]

GILLIAN
Gillian are a compilation of several different hollows within one body. Except that all the hollows are competing for dominance within the mind. For many this is the biggest struggle for all hollows, and will mainly be all mental struggles. These fights for dominance within the mind will be treated much like Ichigos battles with his inner hollow, except for the part where there are hundreds of hollows to fight off… Once your character takes complete dominance of the mind the hollow will automatically evolve into a Adjuchas where they will continue to consume fellow Adjuchas rank hollows. When you have successfully evolved your character to Adjuchas and have received permission from me you may continue to RP to Vasto Lord. [5 posts] or [6 posts for Vasto Lord]

ADJUCHAS
To evolve into a Vasto Lord your character must continue to consume other Adjuchas’s and there must be an “epic” fight between your character an another extremely powerful Adjuchas (or group of them) and be victorious but completely consuming the other hollow. Once this fight is completed your character becomes completed as a Vasto Lord. [8 posts]

ARRANCAR
This RP is simple, you must have a personal RP with Aizen himself where he will force your mask removal and you will join the ranks. You may either choose a number between 21-99 (Numeros) or choose to become an already exsisting Arrancars lacky (Fraccion) by selecting a fraction number 1-99 as the top number and the bottom number being the number of your leaders number. (Example: 3/59) After your character has been reborn they will be asked their name, and will state their identity number along with their name.

Post 1: Menos : Death.

The day had been going badly for Cigeris, he had been having trouble running things and to put a fine point on it, right now he was in deep s**t.

For about a year he had been put in charge of running affairs, unfortunately being a child as he was Cigeris had absolutely no idea what to do, not that such trivial things saved him from the responsibility, in the end Cigeris could only try his best at everything. Really he was better suited to being a poster boy as all things considered he was rather pretty, in fact he looked like a girl.

Atop the nearby buildings was a lone gunman, aiming, ready to fire. He had no trouble getting access to the building, the child before him was so hated that nobody would care if he was suddenly killed, absolutely no-one. The man would never be brought to justice because everyone just saw it as for the better. It was unfortunate to have to kill a child but in the end it was what was best for the welfare of the nation.

A gunshot, the bullet went through Cigeris' skull with no hesitation, no mercy. In less than a second it was over and something new was beginning.

Menos: Post 1: The Death of Some Guy

"We're seriously going to do it now?" the 17 year old P. Ray Att asked, sweat creeping down his forehead from behind the dregs of his bright green hair.

"Of course we are" his stone faced accomplice replied, slamming a clip into his Beretta causing what was a fairly quiet click to become a resounding boom throughout the flat within Master Att's mind. "You're not scared are you?"

"Pekaw! Scared are you!" their parrot nosily squawked from within its cage.

"Of course I'm not!" P. Ray replied snatching up his own shotgun managing to stop his voice from shaking.

'Stupid parrot... it's like it missed out the beginning of what he said on purpose' he noted in his head.

Thick fog covered the moon and stars as two large gangs made their way down the road to each other, their footsteps resounding across the street. All curtains were closed and these thugs' minds were set.

P. Ray was so distracted by the fears swirling in his mind that he didn't even notice the gang war begin. Bullets were flying through the air in an instant. He yelled and ran for cover in an alleyway. Bad move. One rival gang member hated cowards and deliberately shot his way. This caused his face to become mangled from the bullet wound. P. Ray stumbled as his body went into shock. He gasped deeply. Unfortunately this meant breathing in which made his face go down his throat. He immediately started choking and gagging. He couldn't even hear the others. His own shock, pain and noise dwarfed their sounds. What was going on?

A wet splat was heard as the last of his internal organs slipped from his throat. Although people were dying left and right, they couldn't help but be surprised by this flashy death. How did it even happen in such a way? P. Ray fell flat on his face on to his own organs, dead and surrounded by his own blood.

"Tch, so what?" one of his one gang mates cut into the shock "His death was all that spoke. He was just some kid who joined us and never stood out. All he really did was mimic us. What a sheep... no... worse..."

"Pekaw! Scared are you! Pekaw! Scaret are you!" the parrot squawked relentlessly, disturbing its neighbors.

"Is it just me or did that last one sound slightly different?" a woman asked.

"Who cares! It's annoying! I'm gonna wring its neck in a minute!" her partner replied.

Back on the streets, most were left dead. The rival gang had won but were cut down to 8 members.

"What a relief" one said "But y'know, the one who puked up his organs was the first to die? If they can imitate his dying why not duplicate it?"

Sure he would be talked about more. However to do so would mean to stick around in the world of the living. That's not where the tale brings us...

Menos: Post 2: Demi-Hollow

"No wonder you're always so bored then... why don't you get a little more involved with the crowd?"

That's what he had said. The man sitting before him now on the sofa, his eyes flickering with the light from the television before him. The tasteless sounds being emitted from the television reaching his ears but not those of the observer.

'What a b*****d. The guy hated most in the world by... who was it now... I don't even remember. I don't remember my name. Why...? Dammit Pa. It's all your fault... rot Pa. Pa... rot!!!'

That's what ran through his head, the determined thought continuously replaying. No avail. P. Ray couldn't move forwards for his being chained to the ground. He tugged and pulled but nothing happened. He calmed himself for a moment by looking away from Pa. He looked down at his chest. A hole? Yes, quite clearly there was a gaping hole in his chest. Fitting. He never thought himself to have much to him. Why exist if he can't even get his last revenge? Can't he destroy anything in anger? He clutched the corners of the hole and began to pry. Harder and harder. He emitted a loud howl which gradually became inhuman. The hole definitely felt absolutely gaping now. The corners of his eyesight were filled with white.

Suddenly, Pa Rot was all he could think. He became Pa Rot. Pa was right there. There were no chains any more and he was towering over the oblivious Pa. He raised a feathery hand...

"Rot".

Menos: Post 3: Pa's Death and Pa Rot's Birth

It didn't seem like it to Pa Rot but he had vanished for a space of a few seconds before reforming as a hollow in the exact same place as before. With bright and colourful feathers running along his arms and a mask alike to a parrot's face, one who could see ghosts would almost laugh at his appearance were it not for him being 10 times taller than a human. He raised a hand.

"Pa... Rot"

The feathers on that hand stood with the wind as Pa Rot made his first kill and crushed his father into paste in one, downward blow and split the sofa in two along with it. Curling his feathery fingers around his messy father, Pa Rot helped himself to what was left of his first kill. He found it delicious. He ran through the wall and fell down to the streets below, landing perfectly on his feet. To some passing children, it looked like the road had been hit by an invisible boulder. To Pa Rot, said children looked like dinner. He dashed over to them and with a single one-armed swipe their heads went flying through the air. The rampage had begun.

Menos: Post 4: All You Can Eat

Pa Rot sat upon his perch in the form of a rather ordinary house on a street he did not know the name of. He cast his stare over to the end of the road where he could quite clearly hear laughter. Spreading his wings, he glided over to find children playing football in a garden. He settled down and with a single swipe, bifurcated them at the waist. It was becoming an everyday occurrence for him to kill and eat humans. He didn't think anything of it. Once he had eaten the remains, he flew off to leave whoever was in the accompanying house to be struck with despair.

As he flew through the skies he heard a bizarre scream down below. It wasn't anything like a human's scream which he was used to. It was a scream much like his own. He flew down into a nosedive, heading for the source of the sound. He had yet to encounter a Hollow just like himself. He changed direction once he noticed a restaurant in which he could quite clearly see more humans eating through the window. He had gained quite an eye for spotting humans. He didn't even need to use Pesquias that often. Settling on to the ground, he smashed the window into pieces with one arm as the people inside screamed, shards flying about the room for seemingly no reason. He feasted upon them all in the most gruesomely fitting of places. Little did he know of giant footprints drawing near. The very same Hollow who had cried out just had his meal stolen.

As Pa Rot exited the restaurant he had to look up to see the giant Menos which tentacles hanging from its armpits and sharp teeth with unappealing amounts of drool coming from them. It had blazing red eyes and dark brown skin as well as a round helmet of a hollow mask. It wasn't hard to tell from its eyes that it was enraged that another hollow stole its potential food. Pa Rot wasn't about to bow down and feel sorry.

Part 2: How dare you!

Cigeris woke up, or rather he didn't wake up because he was dead, he was a ghost on the other hand and quite the angry one. "How dare they." Cigeris mumbled under his breath, a small flame igniting in his heart. He was becoming completely consumed by his rage. Slowly but surely.

The lone child, sat, waiting for something, mumbling the same words to himself over and over again. He had not been so angry in life but after all he had put in to try and help these people they had just killed him in the end. "Howdaretheyhowdarethey." The boy mumbled, becoming louder and louder, more and more rapid. It was true of course that Cigeris had no idea how to run a country, if he had deserved to be shot through the head was another thing.

A hole began to form in Cigeris' chest, growing slowly but surely with his descent into madness. He would not accept that he had been cast aside like that.

His birth as a Hollow truly began now. The Hollow power was rising up from within him and his body began to change.

Part 3: Birth of the Hollow

Black reiatsu began to swirl around Cigeris. His anger now at it's peak he screamed three inaudible words. His inner instincts were being unlocked and his desire to kill and to maim was becoming ever stronger. Within a few minutes he would become completely Hollow. No longer the useless and weak Cigeris. His own name was becoming faint behind all that lust for blood.

The Reiatsu stopped swirling and revealed the twisted form of Cigeris, a floating orb with mouths all over it, with many, many sharp teeth. Preparing to rip and tear his prey to shreds. In each mouth were two long tongues that would capture his food and on the front was his mask, the only bit of white on him, contrasting the inky blackness he was made of.

A groaning sound seemed to emanate from where what was once Cigeris was, it hovered slowly towards it's first victim ever, it's tongue licking them up and down, tasting the person's soul before it devoured them whole and then.

It wrapped it's tongue tightly around it's unsuspecting victim. Ripping and tearing the victim's flesh and bone with it's bare teeth. The monster's many mouths seemed to be grinning for the first time. It was delicious. Absolutely delicious! There was no way this Hollow could ever stop devouring. Not when each soul was so comforting.

Part 4 Gluttony

The maddened Hollow screamed with excitement, drawing Hollows all around the area to it. They all knew now was the time to strike, not to hide away from the Shinigami. No. They would definitely come out and fight the Shinigami.

The Hollow swelled as it devoured more and more. Floating around and eating men, women and children. Regardless of what they looked like. Human meat was just too good, the Hollow couldn't get enough of the stuff.

From the shadows stepped a single Shinigami, clutching his Zanpakto and shaking, he was clearly a new Shinigami, probably only just got out of the Academy, it was just bad luck he had been given this town to watch over and the Hollow he happened to be fighting was this one.

The orb spun round to face him, the mask with deep black eyes stared into him. It was not like looking face to face with an ordinary Hollow. This abomination showed no signs of being a human save for the mask. Fighting such an inhuman looking Hollow was strange, even though Hollows didn't look human in the first place, this one looked truly strange.

Part 5: Shinigami Vs Hollow: The Ultimate Battle? (No)

One tongue reached out, trying to caress the lone Shinigami, shaking, quivering in fear from the strange Hollow. Reflexively though, he drew his sword, cutting off one of the Hollow's many tongues.

The tongue lashed about wildly and Cigeris howled in pain, his black blood flew around, staining the Shinigami's face and the floor. It was quite the sight to see.

The enraged Cigeris started to inflated. It seemed among his powers was the one to increase in size, he had learnt it in a rage. This time, instead of trying to caress the Shinigami he would kill the man outright but now, the Shinigami was confident. This was something he had not possessed earlier and was something that would make this battle long and hard.

A tongue went for the Shinigami's neck, grabbing round it in an instant but he cut it off, the Hollow reeled back in pain, withdrawing it's tongue. The Shinigami was getting more confident, he was sure that he could defeat this Hollow.

Flying towards him the Hollow tried to ram him with it's body but the Shinigami retaliated by blocking the attack full on, this was a losing battle for the Hollow, at least it should've been but the Shinigami was beginning to get cocky.

"You're pathetic. You know that?" He said, as one stray tongue wrapped around and went by his ear, the Hollow's panting became maddened and the tongue slipped into the Shinigami's ear. "Wha-" Were his last words as the insides were ripped out straight through his ear and the Hollow got down, devouring his latest meal. A Shinigami was a Shinigami, it would offer plenty of nutrition and would give him a huge boost in power. The brain was quite delicious.

Part 6: Menos Grande

It had been 3 months since the incident with the Shinigami and this town had become a wasteland, everyone, every single person was now either a Hollow or had been devoured by one. There was nothing left for them. Some Hollows migrated but some of them started devouring each other.

The Hollow this story is about is one of those who started the devouring of it's allies.

It was a sunny day apart from the clump of Hollows all blocking out the sun. All devouring each other so actually, it wasn't a sunny day. It was a very dark and gloomy day, like it was night time rather than actually day time right now.

The Hollow we are following was ripping and tearing, killing every Hollow it could see. Of course, there were a lot of Hollows and some of them were far stronger than our Hollow. It wasn't long until the Menos was formed.

In the sky stood a Gillian, it quickly plummeted back down, hitting the earth with an almighty thump. It's mask was twisting, curling around. The Hollow spirits inside were vying for supremacy over the mighty Menos Grande. It wouldn't take long but inside it seemed like days, like hours, maybe years to some of the more unfortunate spirits.

Menos: Post 5: Hollow vs. Hollow

It was huge. A shadow was cast down to the end of the street it was so huge. It would take 50 Pa Rots just to equal the height of this massive, revolting hollow which had just had it's meal so rudely stolen. Pa Rot looked up to lock eyes with it which was no easy task. In fact, he had to take several steps back just to manage it. It was his first encounter with another hollow and the excitement was welling up inside him like he couldn't believe. Its red eyes flashed in anger.

"Yer a right cheeky c**t yer are" it bellowed "Steal ol' Gaffer's meal would yer? I be pluckin' yer feathers now!"

"You refer to yourself by your name?" Pa Rot asked with a smirk "Are you a Banjo-Kazooie reject?"

"Enough out of yer beak yer cheeky beggar!" Gaffer boomed "I be eatin' yer!"

Crouching on all fours, the menos sprung forward and sent its hand hurtling down towards the light feathered snack snatcher. Said snatcher took off into the sky with a quick flap of its wings, cleanly avoiding the blow.

"I think you've had enough" Pa Rot said, kicking the creature's arm in a most futile fashion "Your belly's rounder than your helmet!"

"Aye yer cheeky buggar" Gaffer replied, his tentacles shooting forwards towards Pa Rot. The winged wonder took a quick ascent so that the tentacles knocked the top floor off of a shop instead "I've had plenty enough... of yer!!"

"Shouting yer..." Pa Rot replied, flapping his wings steadily as he circled his opponent, trying to figure out how to do any damage "It's almost as ridiculous as the talking is a free action trope"

With a mighty leap, Gaffer was more than high enough to reach Pa Rot's height. The force at which he took off was so great that it triggered a mighty shockwave of dust and knocked over several surrounding buildings for 9 blocks. With a motion, the flabbergasted Menos found himself within the firm grip of Gaffer's hand.

"Yer really are a birdbrain!" Gaffer commented with a chuffed grin "Someone as big as me and yer figure I have no power in these here legs?"

"Wait!" Pa Rot gasped "Leg-go!"

"Yer hilaaaaaaaarious jokes aren't gonna getcha fat out of the fire this time!" Gaffer bellowed as he landed, creating a small quake. The force of him falling had caused Pa Rot to tightly close his eyes. "Now I figure I get to work on yer!"

Gaffer raised his hand. Pa Rot's stomach lurched as his eyes shot open in shock. It was the first time he of all people had found himself frightened of being up high. With a mighty swing of his arm, Gaffer slammed the feathery hollow into the road. A small crater was formed, naturally. Gaffer raised his hand and looked down with a cold grin at Pa Rot laying flat on his face, blood splattered on to the concrete. The only movement he made was a twitching of his fingers.

"Not so chatty now are yer!?" Gaffer boomed, grabbing him with one of his armpit tentacles around the waist and raising him into the air. It was so tight, Pa Rot couldn't even breathe. Not that such an action was easy for him in his state. He looked down at the ground with an unchanging expression. That is to say, he didn't really have much of an expression hidden behind the out of joint facial features and blood. He was then forced to look up at the sky as the tentacle brought him up to Gaffer's chest level for an eye-to-eye confrontation. The force was what sent his head reeling back. Gaffer adjusted the tentacle slightly and clicked his tongue in annoyance as he noticed it simply made Pa Rot face the floor again.

"Not even enough energy to raise yer head any more is that it eh?" he asked "Well if yer like lookin' at the floor so much..."

With one final vicious motion, the tentacle flung Pa Rot back down into the road, sending him into a snugly fitting crater created by that very collision.

"Stay there!" he boomed, looking down at Pa Rot, who was looking back up, not at him but at the sky. Gaffer turned around and walked off. Pa Rot wasn't even worth finishing off.

Inside the crater, Pa Rot could barely move. He had really been gotten good. He could only manage one movement at that time. A wince of his eye. And with that wince, an accompanying tear rolled down his cheek and merged with the blood on his face. It wasn't a tear of pain. It wasn't a tear of sorrow. It wasn't even a tear of anger. It was a tear of fear.

Menos: Post 6: After the Carnage and Before...

It was only natural for people to swarm over to the aftermath of the carnage. With so many buildings knocked over and a road which looked like it had fallen victim to an earthquake, the effects of the fight between hollows was hard to overlook.

"Hey! Get back here!" a woman called out to her young daughter who ran carelessly across the road, hopping over craters, cracks and bumps on her way.

"I'll be fine mum! It's not like some invisible monster's gonna-"

As if the girl's next words weren't blatantly obvious, they were forbidden to be heard by anyone, her young life was snatched away by Pa Rot's meekly feathered hand and she was stuffed down his throat without a sound. Her soul vanished among many others residing within his body, lost in the crowd after having run from it. As screams and gasps filled the air, Pa Rot began to get to his feet. He was still woozy from his fight with Gaffer but that soul helped him out some. He staggered forwards towards the crowd. It was a good thing that none of them could see him. He was so frail at that time that even they would be able to outrun him if they could see him.

Minutes later, it was splashed all over the news channels. A massacre of the entire town which beckoned military involvement. It all started from a little girl disappearing due to what was presumably an invisible monster. It wasn't too hard to guess who was the sole culprit.

Menos: Post 7: Emptiness consume the fulfillment of the hole

"I can't let you continue down this path..." uttered a gentle, feminine voice.

Pa Rot looked up past his blood soaked feathers as he dropped his deceased human prey. There, standing on a pile of rubble caused by this hollow's destruction of a building, stood a blue haired wonder in black robes, wielding a katana which though meant to take life reflected the sunlight and created the purest white light on its blade.

"That's some reiatsu" Pa Rot observed, flicking out his tongue so as to wipe off any blood remnants around his mouth.

"You're a fast worker... I was on the other side of town when I realised just how many reiatsu traces were vanishing. By the time I got here it had already been labeled something alike to armageddon with all the people running and screaming..." she replied, returning the compliment.

"There are those stronger than me around. Why don't they cause so much carnage?" Pa Rot asked.

"Because they know not to anger me" the girl replied and disappeared from sight.

Pa Rot looked around in desperation. It seemed to be high speed transportation. As if the reiatsu level didn't already, this proved that she was no ordinary human. Was she a hollow? Then where was her hole? Who could possibly escape the vision of a hollow other than a hollow itself? Pa Rot's panicked thoughts turned into a surge of pain as a lightning bolt shot itself through his chest from behind. He turned around, gasping and coughing blood, to meet eyes with the woman again.

"What.. are you!?" he asked, stepping forward but merely staggering in pain.

"I am a cleanser" she replied, after a pause "They call people like me--"

"Shinigami!!!" came the yell of an all too familiar voice. Pa Rot turned as did the woman to see Gaffer charging towards them on all fours viciously.

"Him again?" Pa Rot coughed.

"Rest" the woman sighed, flicking her zanpakuto by the hilt as her yellow eyes glowed "Konsui"

The blade erupted into a snake like whip of white cloth, wrapping itself around Gaffer's huge body and pulling him to the floor.

"Yer can't run from me... shinigami!!" Gaffer cried "Yer one cheeky beggar heading after feather face instead!"

Pa Rot began to edge away from the chaos but the woman noticed him without even looking his way.

"Bakudo 9, Geki" she uttered, paralyzing him with red light "Now, Gaffer, 'feather face' as you've so endearingly coined him, was causing a bigger ruckus. He may be weaker than you but the people's safety comes first. The binding cloth of Konsui cannot be lifted. You'll both be executed here. Thank you for making my life easier"

"So what yer filthy beggar?" Gaffer asked as he tore the cloth to pieces "If I can't lift it I'll just tear it!"

The giant hollow got to his feet as the shinigami's cloth began regenerating. It was all too slow, and so was she, as she was caught up in his armpit tentacles and thrown down his gluttonous throat. The binding spell around Pa Rot wore off and he turned around to begin to run.

"I'm not lettin' yer get away this time!" Gaffer called, grabbing Pa Rot in the firm grip of his giant hand and throwing him, too, down his throat. All of a sudden, his body began shaking. Within moments he grew to huge proportions, a featureless white mask over his face which had now been covered, along with the rest of his body, by what appeared to be a giant black cloth. A Gillian had been born.

Gillian: Post 1: War in the mind of the Menos Grande

A great war was breaking out within the mind of the emotionless colossus marching through the town, crushing it beneath its giant feet as it went. Though that is the central location of this part of the tale, the world of the living had a giant invisible monster to deal with. Gaffer the Gillian. The military had been sent to dispatch the threat. They weren't going to get there in time. A lone shinigami appeared in the sky, his cold stare meeting the Gillian's expressionless mask. He drew his zanpakuto, ready to finish things with efficiency. He was a seated officer of squad 1 so a mere Gillian was no threat to him.

"Peel" he uttered "Nenshouebi".

The blade of his zanpakuto extended, shooting forwards towards the giant Gillian as the blade turned red along with the Gillian itself before contact had even been made. Before the Gillian had time to react, the tip of the blade made contact with the now red, cloth like body of the beast. The Gillian cried out as blood poured down from the several cuts which now decorated its body, the red glow fading again. The blade of the shingami's zanpakuto retracted to its original length.

"It's just going to get deeper" the shinigami explained "This zanpakuto is perfect for invoking slow deaths".

The mindless monster knew not what the man said, his words were wasted. It did know, however, that it stood no chance. A giant Garganta opened behind the beast and it slipped through it, to the forest of Menos as the portal it had opened closed up again.

Pa Rot could hear the vague sound of fighting. The cries and shouts were distorted, as if they were being heard from underwater. His vision was blurry. All of a sudden it all became crystal clear. A great white void with nothing to stand on but a black rocky surface expanding seemingly to the ends of infinity. That was where Pa Rot was lying. The sounds of fighting? Because people were fighting. Not just ordinary people. Hollows. Hundreds of them. Pa Rot sat up and gasped.

"Where am I!?" he asked to no one in particular.

"You're dead" uttered a cold voice, the feel of cold steel against his throat. He jumped up and turned around to see a serpent like hollow composed entirely of steel with bloodstained metal spikes on various parts of its body. A simple white eye mask rested on its face.

"What's going on here!?" Pa Rot cried with a panicked voice.

"Calm down" the serpent hissed "If I were a threat, I would have killed you in your sleep. This is war. We're fighting for supremacy of the Gillian we reside within-Gaffer".

"Gaffer? That round bellied b*****d?" Pa Rot asked.

"Indeed. I suppose you've met him in person. I was indirectly eaten by him. That is to say, I was eaten by a hollow that he ate" the serpent replied "Look, it's essentially every hollow for themselves but it doesn't hurt to team up in order to stand a better chance. What do you say?"

The hollow put out the tip of its tail. Pa Rot looked down at it in confusion for a few seconds before grabbing it with his hand and shaking it.

"Great. Now..." the serpent paused to spin around and cut down a giant hollow which had tried to take it down from behind "Let's take them all out!"
