Flycker yawns, uncurling from where she'd been sleeping near her trainer's tent and looks around slowly, still half-asleep. Scratching the back of her head as another yawn hits, she walks away from the tent, heading deeper into the forest to the stream that her trainer had been to last night. Sitting cautiously at the water's edge, careful to keep her tail as far away as possible, she leans down and begins to drink, not really paying attention to her surroundings at the moment.

Shell shocker had been at the stream, a little ways away. He was patiently waiting for his trainer to return, since Sei went missing last night. Being worried was something he usually did if it was unnecessary. Sei would come back and everything would return to normal in an hour or two. His mind had figured enough out about his new trainer and her Pokemon by now.
As he heard another Pokemon approaching, his eyes darted over. It was a little Charmeleon, and posed no threat to him so he relaxed. The Charmeleon might make good company, as Shell Shocker was aware that time appeared faster when entertained. "Hello." He stated and walked over.

Flycker blinks and looks up at the voice nearby and blinks at the Blastoise for a moment before smiling cheerfully. "Hi! You aren't here to fight, are you...?" She asks cautiously, tilting her head to the side slightly. "Cause I'm a lover, not a fighter."

Shell Shocker chuckled at her.She certainly seemed to have plenty of energy. "No, not at all. I'm..." He paused for a moment, considering his words. "I'm also a 'lover' at the moment. Fighting is amusing sometimes, but I don't wish for a fight right now." He offered her a smile smile in return. "I am Shell Shocker. Who are you?" This could turn out to be an interesting afternoon, he though, as he could probably learn some social skills, and area he was lacking in.

Flycker smiles brightly offering a paw towards the other. "I'm Flycker. Nice to meet you, Shell Shocker." She tilts her head in thought, tail flicking slightly behind her. "You hungry? My trainer might be up by now and she usually makes extra food for any Pokemon she comes across."

Considering the offer, he nodded. "That would be quite enjoyable. It's a pleasure to meet you, Flycker." He extended his own paw and shook her hand lightly. "I've been feeling a little hungry while waiting for my own trainer to return." He though Flycker was friendly enough, and that he could trust her. She didn't appear to have hidden motives, either. It was refreshing to be around someone like that.

Flycker smiles again and nods happily. "Yeah, I know how that can be sometimes. My trainer likes to make sure at least some of the wild pokemon get food, even if they don't come around while she's here. She's not the type of trainer that tries to catch every pokemon she sees. She only takes in those that were abandoned or mistreated in some way." She says, turning to lead the way to her trainer's camp.

Shell shocker smiled at her. It was good news that he wouldn't have any Pokeballs thrown at him. "You trainer sounds like a wonder one at that. Mine has caught most of hers, however Bayleaf and I were a different story." He didn't feel much like talking of his own past. It wasn't anything too depressing, but he'd rather learn more about her. "And, if you don't mind me asking, were you abandoned or mistreated yourself? Forgive me I'm prying." Shell Shocker didn't know why, but he wanted to know this Pokemon as best he could.

Flycker smiles sadly and nods. "Yeah, I was a little of both, you might say. My former trainer would train me till I passed out and gave me little food or water. When I steadily grew weaker, he simply kept me in my pokeball, then dropped it in the bushes on the outskirts of town. My trainer happened to come across my Pokeball, and, curious, threw it, just to see if it were empty and when I came out in the condition I was in, she rushed me to the Pokemon center to get me treated. I've been with her ever since. The only one that she actually caught was her Butterfree, Aries. All the rest of us, however, we joined her when she took care of us."

Shell Shocker offered her a sympathetic look. He hated hearing stories like that, of how horrible humans were. It reminded him of his previous one, although to a lesser scale, but that was something he no longer thought about. "I see. It must have been horrible for you." After another pause, he added, "I'm sorry to hear that. You must be happy with your new trainer then, and I can't imagine what it was like." He wondered briefly if this was one of those 'bonding' moments he'd heard of. It was a curious concept, but he decided to give it a try. He awkwardly placed his hand on her shoulder for a moment, and smiled at her.

Flycker blinks up at Shell Shocker for a moment, then smiles and nods. "Yeah, it was a really bad time. At first, I didn't even trust the people at the Pokemon Center. Eventually, though, I grew to learn that not all humans were as bad as my former trainer. That doesn't mean I trust humans on first meeting, though. Even meeting my trainer's family, I still don't fully trust them." She pats at the paw on her shoulder, then shakes her head slightly. "Ah... Listen to me... Talking about depressing things like this... What about you? You and your trainer get along alright?"

Shocker nodded. Kiarei, although a little naive, had been kind to him and he liked her well enough. He was new to her team, but he got along with most of the others. "No, it's fine. I don't mind talking about depressing things. It lets me know you." He took his paw off her shoulder and smiled. "Yes my trainer, Kiarei, and I get along. It's been pretty busy since I arrived, hence why she's not here." He continued following her, mapping his way back for when he'd need to return.

Flycker nods slightly, listening to Shell Shocker speak as she pushed aside the last few bits of leaves that blocked her view of the tent her trainer slept in. Sure enough, her trainer had left out quite a few piles of Pokechow and seemed to be waiting for her return. Stepping through the bushes, she glances around and notices the other members of her trainer's party were already up and eating their breakfast, as was her trainer. Her trainer smiles at seeing Flycker return, then blinks as she notices Shell Shocker behind her. Her trainer nods a quick greeting to Shell Shocker, then goes back to eating, as if not wanting to scare the other away by paying attention to him. "Hehe... See? My trainer also at least attempts to give some semblance of privacy. She's never seen a Blastoise before, at least, not up close, so she's not sure what to make of you just yet, it seems."

Shell Shocker looked around at the small camp. He nodded back at the trainer, grateful she wasn't rushing over at him. "You were right. She's very pleasant. I'll go greet her properly before I eat her food." He chuckled and gave Flycker a smile before approaching the trainer slowly, making sure he didn't appear aggressive. Although he knew she wouldn't be able to directly understand, he spoke anyways. "Thank you for the food. I'm Shell Shocker." If she wished to come closer, he'd let her. Shocker was anxious to get back to talking with Flycker though, and wanted to satisfy his hunger too.

Flycker was pleased to note that her trainer smiled brightly at Shell Shocker, obviously not understanding his words, but understanding his movements and walks closer, motioning him to a bowl of Pokechow. "She won't approach you unless you want her to, meaning, if you go up to her, she'll take that as meaning she can come closer too. She'll most likely wait until we're all done eating before she comes closer, though. And I think she knows that you aren't wild, but she still won't mind if you eat here too." She said, grinning again. "The others in the team are Ryuk, Aries, Sasuke, L'Aqua, and Lumyria." She said, motioning to each Pokemon as she said their name. "They'll leave you alone as well, as long as no fights are started." She said with a smile.
