Log One Almárëa walked in the quiet forest. She could hear the voices of the flowers and trees around her speaking and singing praises to the heavens for such a glorious day. A few scattered voices begged for rain for their parched voices and starving souls and a few more screamed for sunlight or shadow. She heard a small branch cracking and turned. Nightfire smiled to himself, eying the peculiar looking pony. She certainly was fine...He glided out of the darker shadows of the woods and moved behind her, "I would swear I have seen a wood sprite, if I were not under the impression that wood sprites did not look as ponies..." Almárëa jumped slightly. "You surprised me." He certainly had a glib tongue. He was dark and mysterious. She tossed her golden hair. "Sprites do exist. They speak to me even now." She smiled warmly at him. "I in no way meant to say that they did not. I have simply never seen any take on such a form as yours." His eyes followed the sweep of hair, "Though I have seen sirens who have not been as bewitching..." Almárëa giggled a bit, which was most uncharacteristic of her. "You sure are flattering. I assure you, I am no Siren only a simple Elvish Earth pony of Nightmare Valley." She watched his long dark hair and the flutter of his feathers. "My name is Almárëa."He bowed in a courtly fashion, "I am Nightfire. What is a lady like yourself doing out alone? There are things in this wood that would surely take advantage of your lonely position." Almárëa spoke coyly. "Maybe that's what I want..." She smiled through her upturned lashes. "I wanted to walk alone and speak with nature. I've missed it alot lately." She spoke quietly. He grinned, moving closer, "And what has kept you from speaking with nature?" He grinned, moving closer, "And what has kept you from speaking with nature?""I require ingredients for a bit of magic." "What kind of magic?""Whatever magic I fancy."She nodded thoughtfully, "But do you practice dark or light...or..."She let her voice trail off as she looked directly at him. "I practice what ever I need. I make no distinction between the two. Power is power, we are the only ones who chose to make it good or evil."

Log 2 Tilting her head she considered, "Do you really believe that? That some things aren't purely evil and some purely good no matter your...intentions.""I believe that anything can be bent or twisted to do what one desires.""That's an interesting theory, and in part I agree though I don't think everything can be bent.""Oh? Perhaps you would care to enlighten me on such opinions?"She paused for a moment considering. "Do you think that you could bend a will such as mine to yours? Make me your slave or...whatever. Certain wills cannot be bent. Maybe mine can....maybe it can't. I don't know. But there are certain things beyond control are there not?" She raised her eyebrows at him.Nightfire's voice was low and he leaned forward, whispering in her ear, "I am certain that if I desired to make you my slave, I would have great fun doing so."Almárëa laughed a little frightened. "I'm sure you would." She wondered if that was his intentions."And I would be sure that you would have great pleasure from it as well. But slaves are always dependent on the master. I generally have no use for such weak things." She frowned. "I don't think I'm so easy, do you?""You do not appear to be so weak, no. You would be a challenge, and though I prefer a challenge, I need no slaves at this point." "Well, I can't say that I'm not happy. Slavery would not be to my...erm...liking.""I imagine not. No one wishes their freedom torn from them..." His eyes grew distant and he shoved a portion of his long mane from his face."No I imagine not. I've had it happen before...when I was taken from these forests.""And why would you allow such a thing?" "I did not...allow it. I was seduced."

log three "So I see..." He frowned, he was going to have a harder time with her than he had first thought, "It is unfortunate when one uses the matters of the heart for evil things...""Yes, it is..." Her voice trailed off as she looked down at a flower. "I lost my talents for awhile. It was painful....""I can only imagine. Though I assume you have them back now from your phrasing of words. That is a good sign that you are healing, no?""Yes, a good sign." She rubbed her neck tentatively. "However...they're not exactly in tune. Sometimes they're distant.""With time and practice they will be as they once were, I am sure. Has the one who taken you yet been slain?"She shuddered slightly as the wind whispered to her. "No. He's out there somewhere...waiting lurking. The voices tell me of him sometime...but nothing recent. I'm afraid." Her eyes searched his.Nightfire smiled, "Your fears are unfounded while you are with me. I am at home in the night and not without my own power. The only thing you have to fear is me."Almárëa spoke, her voice soft and pleading. "And how much should I fear you?" She looked at his dark colours. Reaching up, she touched his face. "Already you mean so much to me.""I do not hurt for sport, Almarea. But I am by no means bound to anything. Life is a journey, and we must follow the path until it leads us in a different direction." He placed his hoof over hers, "We must relish the time when our journeys intertwine.""I'm only a little afraid of you." Her skin tingled when his hoof touched hers. She swallowed hard. "I must say, that I'm glad fate brought me to you."He bent his head close enough to hers to breathe in her scent, "And what is it that you fear about me?"She inhaled the heavenly scent of him. "Your closeness...your mysteriousness. I fear I'll lose my head." She looked up through lowered lashes."Why would you do something like that?" He smiled, intrigued at her sight of him. He moved closer and draped a wing over her, "I can only go where you let me."Her lips parted without meaning to. "That's what I'm afraid of. Afraid that whatever you asked at this point, I'd grant."Nightfire took that as an invitation and took her mouth with his. "Then you must be sure that you are willing to part with what I would take ahead of time."

log four Almarae felt his lips on hers and she didn't object, but kissed him back. As they parted, her eyes met his steadily. "I've parted with nothing that I'm not willing to give.""And will it always be so? Because a taste is hardly fair to tease with."Her cheeks blushed crimson. "I'd like to taste much more of you."He stroked her flushing cheeks lightly. "And indeed you shall, forest siren. Of that there is little doubt."She flushed at his compliments. "I've never been this forward before. And I have not felt like this...in ages.""Perhaps a bit more of you is healing then. I am pleased to be your balm." He bent his head to her neck and trailed kisses up it to her mouth.Moaning, she smiled. "This hasn't happened in so long. I'm not even sure what to do anymore, but they say you never forget." Her words were stifled as he kissed her. "I like this balm."He chuckled, "I believe I noticed that."Her face blushed profusely. "I...I..." She didn't know quite what to say to him."He chuckled again, "Words are not always necessary. There are times when they cannot describe the inner workings of one's self."She kissed him softly. "I guess all I need to say is that." She nuzzled him softly.Nightfire brushed back a strand of her hair, "I understood that." He gently lifted her hoof into his and let his lips wander over hers again.Almárëa's skin thrilled when he touched her, causing her to tremble. "Maybe we're moving too fast...but my heart says no.""If you desire the pace to slow, that is no hardship." He traced slow, lazy circles over her pulse on the inside of her wrist."I...I just want to do what comes natural to us." She let out a little gasp as he touched her.

log 5 "I am not holding you back," He pointed out. With a surge of passion, Almarea lunged for Nightfire. Kissing him passionately, she felt her body burn with wanting. She backed off for a moment to meet his eyes.Nightfire wrapped his arms around her tightly, pulling her into the shelter of his body and meeting her with his own passionate kiss.Almarea giggled in the midst of the kiss. "I can't believe this is happening...Maybe we should...?" She blushed a bit not willing to explain further."Maybe we should what?"Almarea couldn't meet his eyes as she spoke. She was being far too forward. "Maybe we should go somewhere more alone....""If that is your desire. Where would you have us go?""Where do you live?" Almarea was blushing even more furiously now."My home would not be adequate for our intentions. Perhaps some sort of secluded grove or something?"Almarea nuzzled him. "Do you have a place in mind?""Indeed I do." He gently pulled her along with him, to a secluded grove next to a very high waterfall. "Does this meet your expectations?""It does," she murmured as she nuzzled him. Walking over to the water, she giggled. "It's lovely here. Much more wonderful than I could have imagined."I know many hidden places," His hooves trailed down her sides to her hips, "Many of them not in this wood."She leaned against him lazily and sighed, "What do you mean?" His hooves traced lower, "I am well acquainted with anatomy. Though there are secret places like this clearing that I know of, in other places of course."

"Whyever would you be afraid of such a delightful person?" Nightfire cradled her to him, "The woman I know is such a kindhearted soul that I could never see her harming anyone."
