i was just wondering what people were before they joined up with boo. well, more like what skin they had equiped, but themes are interesting too. mine was an angel imp, thence the lack of shoes in my current avi. that was one of the more frustrating parts of that skin, never being able to equip shoes.
so, what were you before you joined up with boo?

I was an elf. Just an elf. I looked pretty darn amazing, too! I guess I had a water theme going on, with puddles and a trident, etc etc. I miss my old self.. but I'm henceforth devoted to BOO!!

I guess i was just a regular person. I do themes based of color and usually centered around one item. I was thinking about going back to the zombie skin from last Halloween, but it never happened lol.

Le Sigh...My Old Avatar...This was always my avatar before I joined B.O.O. I would switch it around more than often, but this angel-y one was usually/always the one I went back to.
Sigh...I loved that avi....Well, I like this one, too, so I'm pretty good.

Vampire skin biggrin except only for the eyes cos they looked like cat eyes; I had a cat/clown thing going on with my avi. I had different colour schemes but it all kept to the same sort of theme I have a lot of clown shoes xD

Here are two of the avis is was switching between before the BOO skin.

The layering on tektek makes them look a bit different then gaia's layering. : /

Um, ignore the poof of white sticking out from those hats, lol. The entire month of October, my avi was based around taking Pongo out for a walk to different places. I got Pongo for my b-day from a friend, and it was the only item gift on Gaia I got, so I used it like crazy. xd These are only two avis I remember perfectly off the top of my head, with help from the Outfit saving feature. *loves the ability to ghost EI poses* Normally I keep the human base, but use items to change the color of my skin like the Lotus and Yemaya's Pearl. I wear whatever works and whatever I'm liking at the time. I had been slowly working on an avi that used both "Twister the Fire Phoenix" and the "Phoenix Circlet" before this. *points to username* My username comes from a character I had made up for a story who was really a "Chained Phoenix" in human form, based loosely on the constellations "Andromeda the Chained Lady" and "Phoenix". So when Twister came out, I just had to find a way to use him. I'm not sure what I'm gonna do about Twister now. sweatdrop

Just before I switched to this, I was a Kitsune.
I have outfits I wear each year for Halloween.. or plan to sweatdrop Usually my account breaks in October and I am stuck in the same avatar for up to 20 months. mad
I wore four or five avatars in October. My actual avatar near and on Halloween day is a Kitsune. Then after Halloween I turn into this outfit but it changes/evolves. Key points are Pumpkin Pants, a tiny white shirt, an adornment, a tail, and my original "Parasol". I like to or use to like to have a cat always on because I am the Senshi of Felines/Cats.
But overall,.. I am an '05 Zombie/Grombie. So I picked that on the list/poll.

I had turned into a vampire the first Halloween they were introduced and just stuck with it. I liked how thin they were. They looked a lot better in the skirts and dresses I have than the normal male avi base. There were a few layering problems, of course, but I got past most of them.

Yeah, there were ups and downs to the eyes. They looked cool and when they disappeared you could really take advantage of that. Unfortunately, some eye items didn't work. The thin thing really worked for me because I'm a girl and happen to like to dress my male avi up as a girl. The vampire form's thinness gave my avi more of a feminine look. You know, I never tried the imp. What were the benefits and drawbacks?

Minami~kage Yeah, there were ups and downs to the eyes. What were the benefits and drawbacks? well, the shoulders were narrower, so i didn't have to hide them under a scarf or armor. for some reason, the shoulders made the arms look really fat to me on normal skins. but the arms were straight. like there were no elbows. there was the cool wings from the ears too. you couldn't equip shoes, which was really annoying. plus, your feet were claws! your legs were feathered from the shins done, and you had bird feet! while it on occasion worked, i mainly was trying to cover it up with clouds, dresses, or my yeti. the original skin had your avatar floating, but after a few weeks they fixed that. so every now and then you'll see a floating imp, and it's b/c they were one of the original purchasers, and hadn't changed their avi since the change. b/c the entire avatar is skinnier, tattoos and anklets don't always (or ever) line up. they were shaped like pears, (bottom heavy) so skirts seemed to work better on imps than on vampires. since mine was an angel, it was fairly pale, which i guess is okay. you got to keep your eyes when putting on new skins, but your wings went away. so i guess it really depends on how you build your avatar if the way it was designed would be helpful or not. but that's true of any skin. it was fun putting a mermaid tail on with the wings still there. it was a pretty combo
