Anupu:
Anupu had finally left the comfort and quiet of the God's Haven, he needed to once again re-establish ties to the royal mortals below. One could hardly make any sort of connection if one remained unknowingly detached from it all. He had been detached, but he had also slowly started to form bonds again, he knew some of the Gods and Goddesses and memories were slowly returning to him.
He let his claws knead the soil beneath his paws and stretched happily as he felt the sun soaking into his white pelt. He closed his eyes a moment to concentrate and slowly his wings and tail were covered with the illusion of a normalcy. How droll to shield himself thusly, but he had come down to have a look around, no need to reveal himself without reason.
Faintly he could sense royalty nearby, though how far he wasn't sure. His skills seemed to need a little more practice it seemed. Still, just a sniff told him he was on some sort of pridal owned land.
Li Wei:
The Chokwe was hardly an established pride- a group of highly skilled, highly trained fighters who would occasionally lend themselves to prides and clans in need. They'd served as extra protection to the mistweavers a few years back, and in doing so had met their now exiled prince, Maji. The lion was small, physically lacking the build of a warrior, but wise and devoted to his pride none the less. His half-sister's arival had sent him and those loyal to him to the boarders. When the pride dispursed- he had left. Unable to hunt successfully on his own, he joined with the chokwe who were more than happy to house him. Their leader, a cheetah, was something of a prince- though by mistake. When his blind mother found that he was a cheetah, and not the cub she'd neglected to carry from the surface, he too was sent into exile.
Li and Squall had come tot he Chokwe for training. More for Squall than Li- Though knowing how to use speed and his quick paws for avoiding trouble. He couldn't fight, wouldn't fight. Blood made him sick. Even the thought of it sent shivers down his spine. But the training had been fun at least- and it had brought him to respect warriors that much more. They worked hard.
Training was over for the day. He had taken the opportunity to slip off and stretch his legs out a bit more. While running for hours did a number on mortals, on gods it hardly seemed a workout. Li found himself restlessly walking along the boarder of the nomadic troupe's current territory.
Anupu:
Deep blue eyes curiously focused ahead and slowly the large male headed towards the shape of another. He was slightly wary, though why he wasn't certain. After all a mortal probably couldn't do him any real harm, but then again that was only considering his physical self. Mortals had caused him all his pain through deep emotional bonds and the wound wrought by their passing. Was it that then that held him back and made him...afraid? Was he unwilling yet to form a bond with another only to know they would pass? These were the things he had to overcome and learn to accept, that was a part of being divine.
Li Wei:
Li Wei wasn't what anyone could call large. Even for a mortal he was below-average in stature. For a god he was outright puny- though he hardly knew it. He'd met Mut, the god of courage. The creature had been a titan, but he assumed that was just the nature of that one god. The other had been small like him. Another cub but still small.
His head lifted up followed by his large, pointed ears. He could feel the eyes watching him before he actually sensed the presence of another. Turquoise eyes darted about before settling on the...very large male approaching.
He sank back slightly.
