"Remedy" by Seether, Chris' heel theme, began to play through the PA system as the fans booed as loud as their little lungs would allow them to. The all too familiar Cross materialized on the screen, before crumbling into a fiery heap as the words The Redeemer Flash across the screen, followed by several shots of Cross hitting his finishers on random jobbers, and Atrocity through the flaming tables, as well as locking in some of the more notorious moves in wrestling, such as the Crippler Crossface. As the Chris on the screen locks in the crossface, the actual Cross walks out from the back onto the stage, causing the fans to somehow boo louder. Their reaction however, had no way of taking the smirk off his face. He began to strut down the ramp as his pyro went off behind him, not stopping to pray or perform the sign of the cross, as he usual does.
"Coming to the ring, From Toronto, Ontario, Canada! Weighing in at 210 pounds, The Redeemer, Christopher Cross!!"
As he got to the ring, he simply rolled in and walked around for a moment, before looking out at the entrance and performing the sign of the cross, not for him, but for his opponent. Looks like he was saving that one. Cross was itching for a fight after what Atrocity tried to do to him, and he would take that out on his opponent. This would be what his sick mind considered a god-given duty, to cleanse his opponent of his sins. At least that's what Cross would be doing if there was anything good left within him.

}Your Midnight Role Model{ Marxx's entrance video starts, as well as Welcome to the Masquerade from Thousand Foot Krutch plays through the arena. Rockets are sent in a 'X' form from each sides of the entrance as the drum hits, leaving two huge smoking Xs on both sides of the entrance. Red and blue spotlights turns in circles over the crowd as Marxx appears from the entrance ramp, wearing his signature black leather coat.
He walks to a side of the ramp, raising his arm, then walks to the other side, where he does the same thing. While walking to a side to another, we could notice he was dancing a little bit. After, he comes back to the middle of the entrance ramp as he motions the crowd to cheer louder with his hands each sides of him. From there, he puts his arms in front of his face in his usual X, and then drops them quickly at each sides of him, a huge smile on his face. He let go a "Woo!" before starting his walk to the ring.}Making his way to the ring, from New Brunswick, Canada, weighting in at 241 pounds: Marxx! {He starts walking on the ramp, clapping in the nearest fans hands. He stops in front of the ring, then turns back by the fans as he takes off his leather coat to the crowd's excitement. Then, he rolls inside the ring and jumps on a corner, where he does an X with his arms in front of his face before dropping them to each side. He jumps off the turnbuckle and does the same thing on the opposite side before going back to his corner, where he starts stretching.}MARXX!{

Cross just continued smirking, never taking his eyes off of Marxx. To do so would be to invite disaster, he was sure. He backed himself into a corner and waited.

If we avoid the details, let's just say Marxx was not in a really good mood, so to speak. He looked at Chris, approaching from the middle as the bell rang. He motioned him to get closer.

Cross made a motion telling Marxx to, more or less, shove it, and that he'd come to him in his own time. This elicited an audible reaction from the crowd, and not a good one either.

((Auto-Motion! Booya!)) Cross began circling the ring, trying to goad Marxx into making a move, as he was tiring of staying back, even if he did have his role to play, and that was the role of the conniving heel.

((lol))
Marxx approached, not too sure how to start against a man he never faced before, which is a premiere this year actually. Oh well, let's just go for the classic: VINTAGE LOCK-UP!

Cross went in for the lock-up, but right before coming in contact with Marxx, pulled away and ran his hand through his hair, eliciting a negative reaction from the fans as they clearly did not appreciated his stalling.

Marxx stepped back as Chris went cocky a bit. He shook his head, looking at his reaction with an eyebrow up, only waiting for his hand to be down. From there, he shakes his head, almost laughing, and then charges with a Clothesline. If the tactical is not working, then striking is always an option!

Cross may be cocky, arrogant, and yet another synonym for full of himself, but he was also good enough to back it up. He ducked under the clothesline and waited for Marxx to turn around to send a knife-edge chop towards his chest.

((2-days.)) Cross successfully ducked under the clothesline and hit Marxx with a chop. He tried for one more chop followed by an attempt at getting behind his opponent and hitting a reverse DDT.

Aw crap.
*SNAP!* "WOO!" *SNAP!* "WOO!" *SNAP!* "WOO!"
Yeah...
But, as Chris went behind, tryign to grab his head, that was the perfect opportunity to try to send an elbow and, if that worked, try to flip Chris to the front with a Snapmare.

((Oh no, not me, my father lol))
A body part is a body part, and an elbow is an elbow. A hard bone that hurts whatever the body part it hits. But when it is the forehead, it sure hurts a lot more. There is some explanations on why it does that, but let's not bring biology here.
((Now let's just hope that post will end at the RIGHT place))

((It didn't and I lost it and I was like "It says he posted, but it's not here." and then I found it. On another note, I hope it went well.)) From the elbow into Marxx, Cross looked to rolled away and to his feet. If he got away clean, he would wait for the other man to start getting up before launching his next attack.
