So I'm rewatching Mystery Spot because it's on and I love Dean's deaths.
(Boy, that's unhealthy, isn't it?)
Anyway, when they've cornered the Trickster behind the diner, he tells them he isn't a trickster but that he has a wife called Amelia and he sells adspace.
In The Rapture, we discover that Jimmy has a wife called Amelia and that he sells adspace.
Either that is a really big coincidence (wife and job?) or that was some kind of hint at Gabriel/Loki knowing of Cas' vessel, some kind of nod to the future.
I dunno, it's something that's always bothered me but that I keep forgetting to mention.
(On a different note, awwww Sammmmmyyyyy! *cling*)

You know the more I think about it, the more I realize that Kripke had this all planned from the beginning. He's an evil genius, and he cackles evilly as he watches our dumbfounded reactions every time he throws something at us.

LOL. DUDE. Kripke SO had this planned. (The idea has grown on me, btw, guys. My hatefulness is going away xD) Him and his ridiculous subtle foreshadowing that means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING at the time. <3 AND, GUH.

It could be reverse foreshadowing. :O
They could've known in Mystery Spot that The Trickster would be SUPER important, but hadn't necessarily known how (and you know, didn't know about Jimmy - since they hadn't planned on keeping Cas).
And then The Rapture came and by then they had decided on the archangel stuff, and that The Trickster was going to for sure be Gabriel - so they thought back and went "LOL, we can give them the same job and wife! I wonder if anyone with notice! xD".
And there could've been born their own personal joke!

So, I never would have noticed that.
But the theories, they make sense.
I pointed this out to my boyfriend earlier, when I was explaining the little things that make the show awesome because he's never really watched it. He is jealous of my love of the beautiful men on the screen, and doesn't realize I love the show for the substance within even more. He knows he would totally love it, but is just too stubborn. Boys, hmph.
Anyway, I pointed your realization of this coincidence out to him, which seemed to spark a vague interest with him (I provided backstory as wel, of course, and probably blabbed for like 15 minutes without really breathing) and then credited Vee, mentioning you as a fellow fan in a Gaia guild. I have never seen someone stare at me with such nonverbal accusations of me being a nerd, ever.
It was wonderful. <3
