Orpheus looked around his classroom, if one could call it that. It looked more as if someone had took the outside and brought it inside. There were trees, rocks, water, the floor was covered in dirt. For all the intents and purposes it was perfect. It was the outside without some of the dangers of the outside such as predators that might want to eat his students, things he didn't know about, or terrain changes due to the effects of the weather. Everything in the place he had designed himself with the needs of his students in mind.

Ligeia held onto his pantleg looking around the room then gave a, "Screeeeee." before he sat down to pick up a rock and threw it a ways.

"Wait... bites?" He looked over at the shark child then gave a little shift back and forth on the balls of his feet, "Hey... Ah... Lets try to avoiding the biting thing, huh? We are learning the basics to begin with and then hunting comes later when your bigger alright?" And when he knew that the others students were bite sized snacks for him to chew upon. And from the look on the kids face and the teeth he had he was sure that they would be just that...

Orpheus smiled, "Wonderful! Believe me after hearing Hennet complaining you really wouldn't want to eat me. I'm sure I would make your stomach ache." He said then picked up Ligeia, "Alright this way. Today we are gonna test the waters so to speak. Go to the shallow pool and see how you do." He told Jekel. Lets hope it wasn't a scene out of Jaws huh? He set Ligeia on one of the benches that sat near to the poolside.

"The water on this end is only about a foot and a half deep, the other side about three and a half. Nothing to deep though maybe over your head on that side." From what he had read though this one had 'water breathing' so he would be fine even if he drifted into deeper waters. Not that Orpheus wanted to test it though.

He sat down on the bench to undo his shoes and tucked them under the bench then tossed his shirt and glasses on the bench next to Ligeia, "Well lets go hop in shall we?"

Orpheus looked over towards where the voices were coming from and couldn't help but laugh, 'Speak of the Devil and he shall appear' he thought to himself upon seeing Hennet standing there. He kept the thought to himself though, "Seems you got a little handful there." He said in greeting to the doctor then looked down at Jekel before walking over to Hennet and the alligator child, "I was just about to show him about swimming lessons how would you like to join us?" He asked.

Yeesha wasn't looking ready to let go of her father so maybe if he made it sound funner then she would be would more for it? First days could be quite hard especially for little kids.

"If your not rushing off to another class your ok to wait here a while until she gets used to the place." Orpheus told Hennet, not always the case or always the best to have parents around when kids were trying to learn but on the first day it should be ok.

Orpheus did his best to keep from laughing, "At least she isn't afraid of the water that's a plus." It made the teaching of swimming that much easier when the student wasn't clinging to something and screaming about not wanting to get it. He walked over to where there was a basket of simple, small garments. He picked one up with the right name on it and tossed it to Hennet, "Bathing suits for the girls and swim trunks for the boys if they don't want to get their cloths wet." Depended on if they had another class after this one mostly. If they did they wouldn't want to go to it sopping wet, if not they could head home to change.

He turned his glance to Jekel, "You want to change into some swim trunks or are you good as you are?" He asked, off to the side along the wall where the scenery was continued in paintings were two doors one with a girl symbol and one with a boy symbol, "You can head in there to change." He told the shark.

He was glad that Hennet had reminded him as he had spaced off the whole changing out thing. Not that he would admit it to the other, smarter teacher. Not in a million years!

Orpheus then turned to look at Ligeia, "Do you want to come try your hand at swimming he asked of the owl who was just watching the other two children. He tilted is head to the side, his ear tuffs twitching.

"Scree?" Swim? He looked at the water then shook his head, most definately not. He was no fish and he had no real desire to go frolicing in the water like one.

"Alright, alright. You can just hang out while we do the swim lessons since the flying ones are later." Didn't want to exhaust the kid on his first day.

Orpheus left Hennet to helping Yeesha to change into her swimming cloths before turning to look at the new comer, yay! A safe, non-bitey sort of swimmer. How glad he was to see this one, "Hello there." He said in greeting to her then gave her guardian a wave, "Hello to you too."

Ligeia lifted his gaze from what he had been looking at to look over at Jewel when he noticed her gaze on him and he lifted a gloved hand to wave at her, smiling a little bit. It was that nice fish girl from before!

"I brought my own!" Simon stated proudly, hoisting up his shirt to show the trunks under regular shorts.

With that he moved to slip into the water, leaning up on the edge to watch yeesha change. He was too young to know the differences, and rules as to why one shouldn't watch another change. He just wanted to see when she finished so they could play in the water.
Purely innocent.

He paused, tail giving a jerk making water splash up around "Hey Yeesha, it's the fish." He pointed, again a harmless meaning. She was a fish afterall.
