You feel a heavy sense of dread impending on you as you step through the portal into the netherworld. Torture. Fear. Blood. Death. This all surrounds you just moments after you step through the portal. The Demons have taken many poor human souls captive and slowly kill them for amusement. Here, The Horde have a huge fortress set up. Viciously they train people to destroy The Light.

Noktal walked through the halls of the fortress, silence upon his lips. Pausing at a window, he observed the lesser demons training. They were getting better, but they needed to become much stronger if they hoped to live past the first conflicts. The Light was gaining in strength, and as hesitant as he was to admit it, the Human Alliance was nothing to scoff at anymore. And whispers of a shadow of something old were surfacing as well. Noktal tried to make himself expierence worry. It wasn't pleasant. "So not all emotions are good things. Odd. Why would they want anything but good things? Or perhaps, the bad makes the good better. Weird." he mused aloud, the skulls on his robe clinking lightly as he shook his head. Turning from the window, he continued walking through the fortress, not seeking anything, but looking forward to a conversation with another Devil Lord. Else he would go and play in Earth for a while. At least until the next meeting.

"At your meaningless musings again?" chided a voice form behind Noktal.
Bagarth was leaning on one of the doorframes to the area with a little grin on her face. The demoness was in a partial demon form with horns and wings visible, but was wearing a revealing black sleeveless dress with a high vertical slit on the side. Her arms were crossed.
"Things have been slow lately," Bagarth said as she yawned and stretched her arms. She was bored, resting from her frequent traveling. It was fun posing as a human sometimes.

Noktal paused, turning his head to face the voice. "Ahh, Bagarth, a pleasure as always. As for my musings...well, I will concede that they are odd, but in no way meaningless. They serve to better make me understand myself, and our prey. What about you? Grow tired of a human plaything already?" his left eye opened a fraction, letting his red eye show. Noktal didn't have any issues with her 'playing' with humans, he just never really understood it. Then again, how many of them understood why he doted on female women when he had them with him. He was intrigued by emotions. Nothing would change that. But at the same time, he was also impressed by Bagarth's subtle control over her human shape to make something so...appealing. "As for things being slow, I would enjoy it. Things only get chaotic during war. 'Come' the living being said. What fun this will be." Noktal silently chuckled. Humans were funny. They saw the end of everything as their redemption.

Bagarth merely grinned in response to Noktal's first remarks. Of course he had a point about his musings, but he didn't necessarily have to muse out loud.
"And do you say that to your plaything, Noktal?" Bagarath sighed and glided over to her companion. Bagarth wasn't certain how much she enjoyed war and periods of nonwar. It was a reoccurring cycle, and it wasn't about to stop any time soon unless something special happened.
Bagarath had slept with other demons before, but had never approached Noktal in particular. He was a little stiff...but that could change. There were only four of them left after all.

Indrid landed flat on his stomach as he jumped through the portal. He got up, looking around him. Corpses were littered everywhere. This place carried the stench of death. It didn't bother him that much, he was half demon after all. Still, the human side wanted to puke and run and never come back.
Indrid hid behind one of those stone rocks, waiting for the others. Next to him, was a rotting corpse. He shuddered, and froze it with his hands, preserving it and keeping away the smell.

Sin hadn't yet come through the portal, but had seen Indrid go through. He chimed through his touchpad, trying to contact Indrid. "Indrid! You fool! What're you doing??"

Indrid picked up his touchpad. Another way to communicate with everyone. "Waiting for you guys." he said simply, looking at the sky with its green, dead like clouds and the huge moon. "Where are you?" he whispered quickly.

Sin sighed over the communicator. "Still on the other side." He merely said. His tone was hurried and somewhat hushed. "We haven't even devised a plan yet. Get back here!" He demanded.

"Relax." he said, trying to calm him down. "The Fortress is miles a way. It's barely a spec from here. Can you guys hurry up, it stinks here."

"Alright." Sin said finally with a sigh, then the communications went silent. A few minutes past before Sin emerged from the portal, landing on one knee. He let out a sigh as his wings stretched out and gripped at the ground. I hate the Netherworld. He thought. I promised I wouldn't come back here. Guess I just broke that promise. He spotted Indrid behind a boulder. He walked over to him and crouched down. He took out his touchpad and started tapping on it, scanning the land layout and for nearby lifeforms.

Indrid nodded. "Should we wait for the halfbreed? Or should we just scope the land but stay near the portal?" he asked impatiently. The ice was already starting to melt on the corpse next to him. That meant it was still fresh, and the stink seeped through.

J'valia landed on the other side, and pulled in her wings quickly. The less angelic she looked, the more she would blend in. She quickly spotted Sin and Indrid, and joined them. "So whats up?" She asked, looking around.

He looked up at J'valia and smiled. It went away quickly and Indrid blushed slightly. "Uh, we're just waiting for Alastor."
