The cubs were still little cubs but they had been properly weaned and were already well on their way to being trained for their task. Saving that cursed cheetah Pilate had met when she had only been a cub her self. All of them seemed keen on the idea and all of them worked their butts off. Pilate was so proud.
Rahvu had been there for her threw and threw helping out where he could. Pilate was beyond greatful because as it turned out these cubs looked nothing like him and were full cheetah. How she had gotten pregnant was still a mystery to the young adult cheetah.
Mizer had wondered off again from the den and now Pilate found her self tracking him down. He seemed to be the worst of the four for wondering away. The other three stayed by her no matter what but Mizer always wondered off to train more. The boy was obsessed and wanted to be the very best of his siblings.
It was near dusk by the time she did find the blue fluff. Mizer was practicing on some lizards it looked like from the mess of guts sprawled all over the ground.
"Thank god your alright!" Pilate rushed over to his side and nuzzled his forehead.
"Of course I am !" Mizer grumped, "Im a great warrior after all momma. No need to worry about me." Pilate couldn't help but chuckle. Mizer was so serious for his age.

Rahvu chuckled slightly as he emerged from a bush not that far away from the two. He shook his coat off getting the leaves and dirt off of himself as he wandered up to the two, a soft smile was on his face as he wandered up to them nuzzling Pilate before looking down at the cub and licking his forehead. He really didn't care that much that he was not his son. Rahvu treated Pilate's cub's like they belonged to him. He didn't care that they weren't his. All that mattered was that they were like his own.
He looked at Pilate and then leaned toward her ear and whispered. "It's alright I wasn't that far off." He chuckled then sat back on his haunches and grinned down at the cub. "Well thank god we found you!" He said before pulling the cub toward himself too. "We were worried! I wanted to take you and your mom out to the lake but we got worried and thought we lost you!" He chuckled slightly before looking up and winking at Pilate. "But we had to find you... and well the sun is starting to set..." His voice trailed as he pretended to upset. He made sure to follow the cubs out some times when they went wandering because he really didn't want them to get lost, not at all. He wanted to make sure that some one kept and eye on them.

Pilate grinned as Rahvu emerged from the bushes. He had been so good to her and her cubs. It just made her heart glow to know he was there watching over them.
Mizer's intense look softened some and he even giggled when Rahvu pulled him closer. The small blue cub looked up to Rahvu as if he was really his dad. He'd known the lion all his life and he made momma happy. The little cub never had a thought that Rahvu might not be his real dad.
The sign of disappointment in Rahvu's voice caused the cubs ears to flatten.
"I'm sorry Rahvu," He pawed up at the lion weakly.
Pilate smiled at them both, "Im still up for watching the sunset down by the lake. Your brothers and sister are asleep so it'll just be the three of us," She gave Mizer and Rahvu a playful wink.

Rahvu smiled softly before leaning down and licking the top of the small cheetah's head. He nuzzled the small blue feline before smiling at him. "It's alright Mizer." He chuckled slightly before flicking his hair out of his eyes and letting out a small yawn. Then flicked his tail behind him and stood up. "Well! Quite frankly that still sounds like a wonderful idea!" He smirked before nudging the small cub to his feet. He stretched his long limbs then looked at the pair. The lion was still pretty young. His mane had still yet to grown in. Yet he was as tall, maybe a little taller then the average adult lion. He didn't have much meat on is bones, you could say he was jsut really skinny, and in fact he was.
"Who's up for a race?" He asked at the two before chukcling a bit. He was a fast lion, because of those long legs. Most of the time he could easily keep up with Pilate. He wasn't going to go full speed on the little cub but he sure enough was going to let him win.

Pilate got low to the ground in a sprinter like pose, "You know I am," Her tail twitched a little.
Mizer copied Pilate but looked alot more serious. A challenge, something the serious cub did not take lightly. He wanted to be the best after all, what better way to prove his worth then to beat his mother and 'father' in a race? This was perfect logic as far as the blue cheetah was concerned.
Pilate couldn't help but chuckle on the inside at the adorable sight of her son ready to race.
"Ready when you are.." Mizer's eyes stayed straight on the path as he talked.

Rahvu nosed the small cub chuckling slightly then glancing toward Pilate. "Of course I do." He winked at her before bumping into her. Rahvu was very good with keeping up with these Cheetahs he was tall and lanky, skinny. Whatever other word you want to use for him. The point is that his body was perfect for running and he could run fast. He made sure to keep himself in shape so he could constantly be able to keep up with Pilate. And now her cubs. They were his cubs too, well that's what he told himself. He knew for a fact they weren't his but he didn't care. Some were calling him crazy for already wanting to settle. However he was young and happy and he wasn't going to go anywhere.
But he wasn't that sure how Pilate felt about him. He felt as if they should have been mates but at the same time he wasn't that sure if they were. was he just helping? Oh god he wasn't that sure... He brought himself out of his thoughts and grinned at the two. "Ready.... Set.... GO!" He laughed slightly as he started to run forward trying to keep an eye on Mizer, he didn't want to beat the little guy. He wanted to let him win for sure

Pilate set off as soon as Rahvu said go. She didn't need to give Rahvu a head start he was fast enough on his own. The female really did love him for everything. The cheetah wasn't sure what she'd do if he had left her with the cubs. One day she planned on making up for her sins, though she really still to this day had no idea how these cubs had come about.
Mizer seemed to be taking the race quite seriously. He had a determined look on his face. One that said he would not loose. He was fast but no where near as fast as the adults. His short stubby legs were to blame for that. Still he managed.

Rahvu was pretty happy about running, he loved it more than anything. Just like his cheetah comrads. If it wasn't for his larger frame and his mane he could probably pass as one. Yet he loved his family. He was glad he was a lion... He yawned slightly before slowing down a bit watching Mizer go past him. "Oh no!" He laughed slightly before nipping at the small Cheetah's tail gently. "You're going to beat me!" He called out as if he was in distress as the group started to approach the lake.

Pilate chuckled and slowed a bit to let the determined cub pass right by her too. He was fast for his size but he still was small.
"Oh no your beating us," Pilate had a mock surprise to her voice. Mizer didn't catch it though as he kept on running. He ran all the way until he reached the beaches of the lake.
"Well well, I think some one's quite the runner." Pilate purred slowing as she neared the beach as well.
"Course I won," Mizer boasted. He wore a grin ear to ear.

Rahvu couldn't help but to smile at the small cheetah himself. He leaned over slightly before licking his forehead gently. Then chuckling. "I can't believe you beat us!" He mocked surprise before leaning over and nuzzling him. "That's pretty amazing, your a fast one." He smirked before looking at the water and wandering over to it. Lapping up some water then smiling slightly moving toward Pilate and nuzzling her softly before sitting on his haunches by the shore. A small purr escaped his maw as he watched the two. He was really happy to be here with his 'family'.

Pilate pawed at her son lovingly who returned her pawing with some of his own. She laughed a little watching Mizer play with her. Her eyes wandered over to Rahvu and she smiled. Truly she was happy with her family and wouldn't trade them for anything in the world.
Mizer was content playing with his mothers paw.
"I'm gonna get cha~" He playfully growled leaping his mothers paw. Pilate let out a leap of mock surprise and fell on her side.
"Rahvu help me this cubs attacking me," She giggled. Mizer was still working on his mothers paw, rabbit kicking and nipping.

Rahvu watched the pair happily chuckling as he did. He was glad to see both of them happy, it indeed made him happy. This was his family now and it was really starting to settle into his mind. This was going to be his life and he was starting to be fine with that. He was pretty okay with it to begin with, yet it was a odd feeling he was getting used to. It really was. He felt like he was a little kid just the other day. Sure now he knew that he was just a teen, but he had grown up pretty fast. Even if it was just mentally he was very ready. To raise these cubs.
He was pushed out of his line of thought when he heard Pilate call out in surprise. It took him a moment to realize it was fake. He chuckled slightly as he got up on his paws and wandered over to the cub lifting him up quickly by his scruff and then placing him in between his paws. "I gotcha!" He grinned widely as he started to nibble on the cubs belly.

Pilate smiled at her two men and couldn't help but feel warm watching the two at play. Rahvu was like a real dad. She was so lucky.
Mizer let out a yelp and flailed about at random. He had been caught captive and he wasn't all that thrilled about it as he flailed.
Pilate had to chuckle. "What do my two men think about grabbing something to eat?"

Rahvu chuckled slightly before flicking his hair out of his eyes then grinning then looking up at Pilate. He started to clam down some then flipped the cub gently and started to lick his head, starting to clean the small male. He chuckled then flicked his hair out of his eyes as he looked at the female. "Well Mizer, whadda say? Lets get your mom something to eat." He grinned as he stood up and nudged the cub. "We can either go fishing or go catch a few rabbits?" He looked up at Pilate and grinned ear to ear before looking back down at the cub. He liked to include the cubs into hunting trips. He wanting to make sure if something every happened they could take care of themselves.

Ravhu grinned at the cub then nodded toward him. "Fishing it is." He grinned and nudged the cub as he wandered toward the water. He started to walk in the water a bit, trying to figure out where the cub could stand and reach the fish and not drown a the same time. He smiled as he saw the perfect place, there was a small indent in the sand near the shallow parts and the fish were 'sleeping' at the bottom of the small underwater pit. that was perfect.
"Mizer come here!" He smiled as he nodded toward the cub and then looked down in the whole. He was trying to figure out the best way he could do this with the cub around so they could catch a few fish with out a problem. "You see them in there?" He asked leaning over a little more before smiling at the cub.
