Kalas is a freshman in high school (Japanese system). He is a plain person that people normally don't look twice at. He dresses without a sense of fashion, so he's unpopular there. Music-wise, he doesn't listen to it with much interest. He'd rather play his violin than listen to the marching band. He does his work when he knows the answers, and sleeps when he doesn't. Sounds normal, right? Well, he has one major flaw that draws trouble for him: that abrasive attitude of his. Normally, he pays people no mind. But if someone says the wrong thing, or even look at him funny, he snaps on them and insults them. Bullies shy away from him. It's a wonder that no gangs took interest in him yet. Also, he's always seen carrying a notebook. What's in it, no one knows.
___ is a junior in high school. He is also the leader of the local gang. (Details are decided by you.)
___ and Kalas met the typical way. Kalas was in front of his locker getting his things. ___ was walking down the hall surrounded by both girls and guys (there were more girls though). They stapped on Kalas' notebook leaving a huge boot print (___'s). Kalas snapped and called the whole group the worse sort of names. When one of the guys asked him if he knew he was talking to, Kalas said, "douch-bags aren't worth my memory!"
Ever since then, ___ has been interested in Kalas. Kalas though...is turning out to be a very evasive person. (Hence the title.)

RulesNo godmodding. (duh!) Keep it clean. If you must be crude, don't. And most important, I don't cyber. So don't ask or suggest it. It's my face: Kalas Echona That long already: 15 Sports don't count: 5"5 What everyone sees: KalasWho am I: Unsocial, abrasive, and not mainstream. I admit I have a problem, but it's a problem I don't feel like changing. If it's popular, I don't care. If it isn't popular, I still don't care. I don't want to remember: I wasn't always this way. I used to be quite sociable...as a brat. As I got older, my eyes became clear to the three faces of society. I drifted away from my so-called friends. Soon, only one person was left. But, they disappeared too as the moved over-seas. Now, the only friend I have is my notebook. My parents are always out working when I'm home. I have barely seen them for one whole day since I was 8. My heart it frozen for I don't use it anymore. But it doesn't matter. I am a plain person. Who would ever look at me? It's my face: Alexander Monstrance That long already: 16 Sports don't count: 5'10" What everyone sees: Who am I: unsoical and laughable, easily angered, is very sweet when he wants to be, always getting into trouble I don't want to remember: I had fun at all the popular kids' parties, getting drunk and high, but there was something missing and soon it became clear, I wanted love, not some fancy party to go to. My parents never cared about me, so I left some time ago and now live in an orphanage.

Alexander walked into the school gates carrying his bag over his shoulder, his jacket in his hands. He was a little late, as usual. The orphanage just had to make sure he was alright before he left for school. How annoying, he thought. School is such a drag.

Kalas was walking to school as well, his head tilted forwards so that hair fell over his face. Since it was stil so early, he was pretty quiet.

Alexander started to walk slowly, hoping to be late for classes. The teachers always bugged him and he never really understood why anyone had to go to school. He bumped into someone behind him and he turned around. "Oops! Sorry, man."

Kalas scowled as a person's voice cut into his foggy mind. "Idiot...shut up! It's morning! Why are you so loud!?" He barked at the person before him. He then walked around them, his bad mood woken up abruptly. "Stupid people ought to disappear or something!"

Alexander just stared at him as he yelled. When he was done and walked around him, he ran up to him and said, "Hey, what are you so mad for?"

Kalas glared up at the other who was still following him. "Ah, the idiot returns. Mad? I am not mad. I'm am infuriated that people insist on talking so loudly when everyone else, is being, quiet!!!" He hissed at the person. "Any other numbskull questions, genius!?"

Alexander grabbed him by the shoulders to stop him from moving any further. "Yeah, I think so. Why are you yelling? I'm speaking in my indoor voice, you on the other hand, are practically screaming at the top of your lungs." He smiled, sure he got him that time.

"Guh!" Kalas paused as the other touched him. He looked from the boy's hands on him to the boy himself, and then back-an-forth one more time. "Why am I yelling? THAT'S THE POINT OF ME BEING INFURIATED!!!" He yelled into the person's ear. "And get your hands off me you rude mongrel!" He retorted, shoving at the person's arms.

Alexander backed off and raised his hands in defeat. There was no way he was gonna be able to get through to him. Alexander liked Kalas more than he thought. He debated whether calling his name out would attract attention or not but soon he didn't care. "K-Kalas! Wait!"

Kalas did stop, hearing his name called. "WHAT do you WANT!?" He was about to continue yelling, but the his stomach started grumbling to the point that he actually fell silent.

Alexander walked up to him and said, "You need a friend. I've noticed how you never talk to anyone. Since I have no more friends, would you like to be the first one I've made that truely counts?" He waited for his reply, hoping he would say yes, but didn't expect it. If he did say yes, though, then he would probably jump for joy or some other outpost for happiness.

Kalas glared at Alexander for a moment before turning away. "Do what you want!" He resumed walking down the street, a bit more hurriedly since he was hungry. So, he wants to be my friend? Heh. He'll change his mind soon enough. They always do!

Alexander watched as Kalas walked away faster than before. After hearing what Kalas said, he caught up to him but kept quiet. He didn't want him to be anymore infuriated than he was. The school was coming into veiw as they continued to walk in silence.
