It was a long day finally drawing to a close, or at least somewhat. The sun was still in the sky, having not set yet, but it was getting rather low. The wind had now picked up as clouds were hanging low overhead. And in the distance stood a lone female figure, watching as the clouds moved rather quickly through the sky. The signs of a storm was on the way, and the female stood as if a deer caught in headlights.

Harouxi-n came up behind the lioness with a late kill. Glancing at the sky Harouxi-n noted the coming of a storm. "we'd best find some shelter..." as the clouds continued to moved quickly the wind on the island started to pick up. "Soon." He touched his dear friend on the shoulder. "Candy, you can marvel at the sunset from inside a cave." he couldn't help but chuckle as he say her expression.

"Oh umm..." She slowly broke out of her trance, her eyes blinking at him as she turned her head. She was slightly startled to see him at first, her body jumping slightly before she shook it off. "I guess you're right." Came her statement a little sadly. She had wanted to watch the storm, but she supposed that in some way it could be dangerous if the winds became too strong. So she finally nodded and came up to him, giving him a soft nuzzle.

"We can watch the storm somewhere else." he promised trying to cheer her up. The white lion had scouted a cave that was both good shelter and for Candy's sake she would be ablet o watch the storm though all it's phases. Harouxi-n nuzzled his friend back lightly before picking up the kill.
"this way." he said leading her in the direction of the cave.

Candy gave a reluctant nod and followed him toward the cave just as the wind whipped up even heavier to cause her tail to fling back. She screeched a little, hissing at the wind before ducking into the hole. She then stuck her tongue out at it.

Harouxi-n frowned still at her disappointment. He didn't want her hurt... But she still wanted to sit there and stare at the coming storm. He entered the cave first setting the antelope on the ground in the back and chuckled at Candy's innocent display. "And that, Candy is why we take shelter." He came up beside her but stood just infront of her enough to block the wind for her.
"you can watch the entire storm from this cave." he said as the rain began to fall.

"You're not my father you know." She smirked at him, pulling her head over her shoulder to stick her tongue out at him this time in a very teasing manner. She then licked her paws after having stepped in a small puddle that made its way into the cave. Stepping out from the entrance, she moved over and began to sniff the kill. "Smells good." Her stomach rumbled and she began to appease it by taking a first bite.

Laughing he nodded "You are right I am not your father." He grinned "But I can still tease you." He walked over to the kill he had brought "Help yourself" he offered hearing Candy's stomach. Folding his raven-black wings he sat beside his friend and took a bite of his own the blood covering his white muzzle.

Candy nodded and instantly let her head dip so that she could gnaw at the food in front of her. She rarely ate meat, but there was the occasional time when the taste was good that she didn't mind it as much. Besides, Harouxi-n caught it for her and she felt she'd be rude to tell him that. She wasn't a complete vegetarian, so why cause problems about it anyhow?
Smiling, she licked the blood off her face and watched him. Her tail curled around herself before she turned her head back toward the rain that was now falling rather rapidly in the world outside the cave. It was beautiful. Even though she disliked being wet, the sound and vibrations the water droplets made against the stone floor put her in a state of peace. "Thank you for the meal." She stated quietly, her eyes still focused on the rain. Shifting, she moved closer to him, waiting until he was done or at least had taken a small break from his food. A small purr came from her throat as she nuzzled her head against his neck. "Its perfect..."

Harouxi-n Licked his muzzle clean when he was finished his meal, then smiled at his dear friend "your welcome... but you prefer fruit and veggies don't you." he winked "I'll bring you some next time.. I was just in a hurry to get back here before the storm." He sat quietly beside her and watched the rain.
Harouxi-n's ear flicked toward Candy as she purred His fur turned slightly pink as she nuzzle him. He nodded giving her an unsure nuzzle back.
"You can see everything." he smiled looking back outside.

She giggled, "Its fine Harouxi-n. I can eat meat once in a while." Feeling him nuzzle her back, she let out a louder purr, pulling herself closer to wrap her tail around him. "Its beautiful. Amazing even... just like you." She whispered the last part, her own cheeks now flushed as she turned her face so he couldn't see.

Harouxi-n smiled, he was glad she was here and he had found her again. He hadn't realized he had been really lonely without his childhood friend with him before. Even through all the adventures he had by himself it wasn't quite the same.
"Pardon?" he asked not quite catching the end of her sentence. She had turned away from him. His ears drooped a little "Did I do something wrong?" he asked he couldn't see her face to look at her expression. so he just waited nervously for her reply. He didn't want to do anything wrong, at least not for her.

"Wrong?" Candy's head instantly whipped up so that she could view Harouxi-n. The blush still wore heavy on her cheeks though the look in her eyes was replaced with more of a panic. Did she do something wrong? "No, you did nothing wrong! I..." Her eyes looked at the ground. "I just... I'm sorry... I shouldn't have said what I did..." Her own ears were back now, she figured he may have rejected any bit of affection she had tried showing him.

Her face was all red, Harouxi-n looked at her in surprise, she looked more panicked than anything "I didn't hear the end of your sentence." he smiled at her trying to calm her so she could explain. "You;ve done nothing wrong Candy." He gave her a friendly hug.

"Well... I..." Just as she started to repeat herself her cheeks went an even brighter shade of red. Blushing, she turned her head and buried it against his chest. "I just... said... you were amazing..."
