The base of Akatsuki, hidden deep in the lands of the Rain Country. To get to here one would have to go through the forest to reach here. Only the members of Akatsuki can get in and out of the base, only with their rings they can. There is also a barrier around the base, the barrier known as the Gofuu Kekkai - Five Seal Barrier. There is five individual tags, one on the top of the base entrance, the other five is scattered throughout the forest, protecting and preventing anyone from breaching the base other then Akatsuki members.
*Anyone who tries to break in, you cannot do so until you get past the barrier's effect. Also its modified so you cant try the stunt of: 'I can slip past anything' or something of that sort.*

Jade, by chance passed by the entrance to the base. Something felt heavy, like loads of chakra in the air. She activated her sharingan, holding her hand up to signal for Saito to stop. Her red eyes pierce through the night, spotting the now defunct base. She raised an eyebrow behind the mask as she walked forward. Jade placed her hand on the stone, feeling the old chakra. Apparently, someone had once used this as the beginning of a base, perhaps where the barrier was located at. "Saito, this seems to have been used before. Let's check it out, but be extremely cautious..." Jade entered the base, lifting her mask over her head, though still keeping it attached.

"Hmm..." Saito muttered as he kept his left hand on the sheathe of his sword. Following closely to Jade, he looked aorund and turned his back towards Jade, covering her back in case anything were to happen. "What do you think?" he asked, wanting to know her opinion.

Jade peered into the looming darkness, tsking at the sight. "It looks like it hasn't been used for sometime, though we would need to scout out the area and see what we can find." Jade gave a tentative sniff, checking for any poisons. She could not find any trace of traps, though knew better than to assume things were safe. "We'll need lighting." Jade laughed to herself as she thought about the jutsu pertaining to making oneself glow. She never thought she would need it, and practically facepalmed herself. Jade set about to find two decent branches, easily finding some in the surrounding forest. Using electricity, she created a spark on either branch, setting them ablaze. Jade tossed one to Saito, and held hers out infront of her. Jade again couldn't see much, but head inside, her sharingan still active.

Catching the torch, he followed Jade wherever she went. He continued walking sideways and mostly kept his eye behind them, making sure that nothing would come at them from behind. "If it hasn't been used for some time, why do you think it was abandoned?" he wondered as he waved his torch around, trying to get a better look at the surrounding area.

Jade shrugged her shoulders as she made her way into the base, walking down a long hallway which didn't branch off at first. "You've imposed a decent question." Jade thought about the answer a she came to an intersection in the hallway. About 4 other passageways jutted off, into who knows what. "Perhaps the former owners were finished off, or found something of more grandeur." Jade paused once more, deciding to take the farthest to the left. "I believe this would be an ideal location. It has known chakra before, which means it would be easy to set up a barrier of some sorts." Jade lapsed into silence, spotting something along the wall, along with a familiar smell. Jade spotted, along the walls, a channel of some sort, similar to a miniature aqueduct. She lowered her torch to it, letting the chemicals catch fire, and spread down the controlled lane. All down the walls, the fire spread, lighting the way for them. "How quaint, I feel as if we are descending into the center of the earth."

The two imps scampered out of the base, heading for their target. The tiny creatures ran at fast paces, surprising for creatures with such little legs. The little swords they possessed clanked against their legs and armor they bore as they tore through the forest, chatting away as they did so. Together, they angled towards the Bloody Mist.

Saito and Jade emerged from the entrance of the Akatsuki lair. Only thing was, Jade was posing as a large, red-haired scottish man carrying a traveling pack. Jade expected Saito to be following close behind her as she took off at a brisk pace, running at a slower than her norm pace. Jade felt awkward in something so large, which caused her to trip up a few times. She made her way to the harsh desert of Sunagakure. Jade couldn't help but hum a merry tune as they traveled, in an attempt to keep her spirits up.

Jade and Saito quickly closed the distance between them and the base, and slipped in, unnoticed to the outside world. Once inside, Jade gathered up her scrolls, and created a few clones. Each clone took a scroll, and set out to work.

The harpy flew out of the base, circling once before letting out a screech and taking off into another direction. It aimed itself towards Konoha, intent to find this Cody it had been told about...and possibly eat him.

Blade was wary of the harpies the entire time they traveled, so he kept various insects on his shoulders the entire time. As they arrived, he waited for the new recruit and wondered if Zane had returned from Mist. It seems like he hadn't since he could not detect his scent from anywhere in the area.

Kuza arrived soon after the others did then let out a sigh. "im tired..." She mumbled to herself before sitting down on the ground. She often never slept but lately because of her rapidly learning jutsus and now traveling out of the village she sure needed the sleep. She wondered why those guys wanted her to come with them, besides the whole power thing. Its not like she was the only ninja in konoha.

"I believe there's an area you can rest, but for now you should come. It's just a little bit more..." Blade told her. He himself was tired as well, especially because the insects inside him were constantly draining his chakra. Asking her to follow, he stepped inside the hidden base.
