Piperit had been delving a bit into the few bits of romance novels he had, most of which consisted of Shakespeare, in an attempt to better understand his current situation. However, it seemed as though no one in his novels seemed to do anything with love other than die, and that was strictly out of the question. There had to be a simpler way. He then recalled Blake mentioning something once about a picnic. "Seems simple enough..." he said to himself. He tidied up his room and proceeded to the kitchen to scrounge for picnic foods before he addressed Yuu about the idea.

Yuu was sprawled out on her futon, a book resting under her head like a pillow. It was hard to tell when she finally fell asleep during the early morning. But her sleep showed signs of restlessness. Her blankets were tightly wrapped her body, and her pillows was shoved onto the ground.
As she slept, a strange dream ran through her head. It involved a lady in a lake, a boy that never aged, and a certain red and white Namir.

Piperit looked at the food for a moment, materials for sandwiches, some sun chips, and some salad Thumper had thrown together the night before and hadn't finished. It wasn't much, but it would do he supposed. He dug out a basket, lined it with napkins, and put the food in, carrying it in his mouth down the hall to Yuu's room. He set it down then, took a deep breath, and knocked on the door.

Yuu's ears flicked, drawn from sleep by the knock on her door. She let out a yawn and stretched in a cat like manner. It was then that she realized who ensnared in her blankets she was. She wiggled and squirmed in an attempt to gain freedom. To buy time, she cleared out her throat and barked out with her usual roughness, "What?"

Piperit sat at the door, wincing back a little bit. He was pretty sure, that if one thing in life was certain, it was that he would always be at least a little bit scared of her. He mulled over, for a few seconds, a possible reply and, without being successful at finding something just took a deep breath and answered with, "I could come back later."

Yuu's ears perked at Piperit's voice, her mind flashing to when they last spoke. "No! Just... wait!" She wriggled more, but her frantic movements seemed to be just entangling her more. "Damn it!!"
And with the curse she popped free and tumbled across the floor to land on her fallen pillow, the force sending her skidding across the room. Knocking over several objects in her path: a nightstand, a cushiony chair, and stack fo books. At the end of her journey, she glanced back at the damage, shrugged, and answered the door grinning. "What's up?"

Piperit raised an eyebrow to the sounds beyond the door, the crashing and bashing of things falling, wondering what the hell was going on in there. When she opened the door he gestured to his picnic basket. "Wanna go have a picnic?"

"A picnic?" Yuu repeated the words as if they were foreign to her. Her gaze traveled to the basket; this was certainly unexpected. To hold off the smile that was threatening to rise up, she bit her bottom lip and nodded. "Yeah, sure. That'd be... nice."

Piperit nodded back then, glad that she had said yes. The problem, he hadn't exactly planned where they would go... "Super...any ideas for a location?"

A smart-a** retort balanced on the end of Yuu's tongue, but she swallowed. If he had gone through the trouble of packing the food, it only seemed fair that she think up the location. "Yeah, I know a place."
She looked at the basket again. "Should I grab a blanket?"

Piperit nodded, "Good." He then looked back at the basket. He'd lined it with napkins because he couldn't find a blanket and he didn't feel like asking around or dirtying his nice white sheets. He looked back at Yuu, "If you can find one, it'd be a good idea."

Yuu snorted before disappearing into her room. When she reappeared her blanket draped over her back. She pulled her bedroom door closed. "Follow me."
With that she started heading out.

Piperit looked at the bedroom door then picked up the basket and followed after her, wondering where she would be guiding him. If he didn't have to carry the basket in his mouth, he would have attempted conversation.

Yuu remained silent, knowing that Piperit couldn't respond if she attempted to start up a conversation. She led him out of the cave and into the woods. Being considerate of Piperit's current burden, she picked the less overgrown path to their destination.
After a quarter mile walk, they would come upon a field of grass tall grass. In the center of the field was a small hill with a single willow tree atop it. The tree was Yuu's destination.

Piperit followed along, trying to keep track of the path, in case the spot Yuu was taking him would end up being a good spot for a quiet afternoon reading. The more they walked, the more he straggled a little behind. He wasn't a very active namir, therefore he had little endurance, but he wasn't trudging or anything...just straggling. His eyes widened a little as he looked up at the tree. It looked so...poetic? Hmm...Piperit racked his brain for the correct word, but he couldn't find it. It looked like something out of a storybook itself, and that intrigued him.
