The Shifting Sands
Trading, Selling, Buying
The Shifting Sands Marketplace is a truly nature defying area, one great testimony against the desert itself. The area itself had actually began secretly during the village's construction, it was originally meant to be a hidden safe haven, a bunker of sorts that the village could live out of for years on end built underneath the village itself. The area held not only its own small pond, but due to several highly classified and completely unknown jutsus it was almost its own little world inside of itself, completely different from the outside world and resembling more of something like the forests of konoha rather than the hot deserts above.
Of course this plan eventually was canceled for practicality purposes and yet the area still lives on, transformed into a wonderland of trees, flowing water and cool underground temperatures. In the center of this haven of life lies the village marketplace. A miniature city on its own. This marketplace sells not only local goods, but it also will sell nearly anything the mind can imagine in its thousands of shops and stands. From food to shinobi gear, this marketplace has it all.
The market place not only has its own population, but it also has its own section of Anbu guards. Weapons for shinobi ranked beneath Chuunin and foreign shinobi are forbidden within the area and by law they must be dropped of at the entrance and picked up later, or the Chuunin below/foreign shinobi will be arrested.

Zane arrived at the marketplace after going deep underground. "Bustling as usual," he said as he walked past the masses, gathering and gossiping about the lates happenings of the village. For example, who was to be the next Kazekage, and of the other shinobis of the village. As he walked, he could feel several eyes on him. It didn't matter though, he knew what they were saying. That's the weird Kiri shinobi, why doesn't he just go back there. Regardless of what they said, Zane was loyal to Sunagakure and tot he previous Kazekage.

-From Training facility.-
Akura walked along with three dango held between the fingers of his left hand, and a partially eaten fourth protruding from his mouth. Sure, he may have looked a bit beat up. With the various kunai wounds beginning to bleed though his bandages. But at least eating beat getting grilled by a medical shinobi, being wounded more than once a week seemed to annoy most of them, and Akura was on the top of the list for the amount of wounds received daily. Oblivious to the villagers around him, Akura walked along as he hummed to himself. A happy grin set upon his face as he walked and ate.
Soon, Akura unknowingly had a small trail of children following after him. Mimicking his happy step and hum as they walked along. He only noticed his followers when he decided to stop off upon the middle of a bridge. Taking a seat upon the edge with his feet dangling over the water. Here he ate, the children copying him as they sat along the edge too. Akura simply smiling as he passed along the last bits of his lunch. "No wonder I stay so small. You guys eat all my food!" Akura managed to joke, sharing a laugh with his followers as he gazed down at the swirling waters below.

Rein looked around with Zane, nodding in agreement. "Yup... She looked over at him. She could hear the whisperings of the people as she was sure that he could. She bit her lower lip and looked around for something..."Ah! Zane! Over here...come look at this..." She wandered over to a stand of no real interest to her. She just wanted to get his mind of what she figured he was thinking.
((Feel free to make up whatever we're looking at. XD )

"Uh...Rein, I had no idea you were into this kinda of stuff..." he grinned devilishly as he began to look at a very risque adult shop rofl "Hey is that Akura? YO AKURA!" Zane exclaimed as he waved at him from his spot.
(I could have taken that so much further...)

She blushed furiously and gave an awkward laugh. She should have looked closer. Luckily, Zane had spotted Akura and was currently paying attention to him rather than the rather provocative shop that they were in front of. She, too, turned to greet Akura. "Looks like him..." She was hoping that the color in her face would fade before Akura approached and she slowly tried to scoot away from that stand.
((...lol, I should have known better...but I know you could have done so much worse. sweatdrop ))

"Eh?" Akura muttered as he tilted his head toward the source of whomever just called his name, his eyes snapping open wide as he noticed the female medical shinobi. "Oh. Dear..." He muttered, silently praying Rein would over look his injuries rather than yelling at him for them. Hopping up, Akura waved goodbye to his followers before he crossed the bridge and walked into a rather, sketchy, part of the market place. As he began to take notice of his surroundings, his eyes opened even wider than before, a slight blush growing upon his face as he averted his eyes from the villagers within the area. "Um, I didn't know you guys were into this type of stuff..." Akura managed to mutter as he glanced into the shop windows. His eyebrow questionably raised as he glanced between the two. Rather than saying anything else, Akura ended up scratching the back of his head nervously, laughing awkwardly as he closed his eyes, obviously unnerved by his surroundings.
(Wow. xD That is all I have to say...)

Yuudai walked into the marketplace with a little bead of sweat dropping from his forehead. “It is way too hot in this village I am going to have to do something to get out of this heat.” Yuudai muttered to himself while he was walking to the water vender. “I just can’t take this village, but I am stuck so I will stay I guess.” He said then started talking to the vender and paying him the money for some water. Yuddai then took the water from the venders hand and took a little sip and turned around.

"Well apparantly Rein is..." he said plainly as he pointed at her. "So uh...what happened to you?" he asked as he appeared behind Akura suddenly, inspecting him. Then his right, then his left. "Yup, you've definitly banged yourself up!" he exclaimed cheerfully as he looked past Akura. "Oh...Yuudai is here too. HEY YUUDAI!" he said as he flagged him down as well. It seemed like all the top ranking shinobis were gathering at the market.

Rein facepalmed as her attempt at moving away from the stand had failed. In her trying to occupy Zane's mind, she had ended up throwing herself to the dogs. Why was this always her Fate? Her blushed quickly returned and she spoke with a slight edge to her voice to both men. "I'm not into---I was trust trying to---aw, forget it." She got a brooding look on her face now due to the situation. That's when she noticed Akura's injuries that Zane was pointing out. She'd almost missed them. "...again?" She quirked an eyebrow at Akura. "Trying to sneak those by me? I better see you soon to get those cleaned up properly." She turned now as Zane had spotted her fellow jounin, Yuudai.

Yuudai sees Zane and all of the other ninjas. Yuudai rolls his neck because it has been sore lately but figured it was from sleeping on it wrong. Yuudai walks over while taking a drink of his water then he wiped the sweat off of his forehead. “Hey how are things?” He asked as he saw the shop in the back. “Well apparently someone is having a good time.” He said with a little laugh as he looked at the group.

"Well besides the fact that I've discovered Rein's wild side, things are good," he laughed childishly as he slapped Yuudai's shoulder as a sign of kinship, though they weren't blood related, Yuudai was still part of the Suna family.

"Oh, for the love of--" Rein trailed off as her face flushed again. She wanted so much to slap Zane upside his head, but it was her own fault for not looking where she was going beforehand, so she let him off this time. But she was starting to regret leaving work so early today. Just dandy, Yuu, how are things with you?" The sarcasm was easily noted during her answer portion of the statement.

Yuudai laughed at what Zane said then looked at him. “Do you know what her problem is? She seems like she is pissed at something.” He said even though he had a good idea of what it was due to the comments. Yuudai then took a drink of his water so that he could keep cool in this hot weather.
