So I want to reopen a new MPL shop and was thinking of some new ideas. Since I cant have anything to interactive I want to at least do something fun. One f the ideas I was thinking was to open a "Lolita Boutique" where you can purchase a base lolita (or special lolita) and you guy outfits to dress them like you would if you got an edit of your avvie. Your lolita would come in pieces and you can mix and match how ever your lolita will look.  So basically you would get an underwear clad loli and every piece of the outfit would be separate except the hair. You guys would use your own edit program to put the outfits on your lolita and would have to save it to your own server. So I would sell outfits and goodies to go along with the lolitas. I need more ideas though ^_^;; I would of course have rules against editing the outfits, and every doll used would have to have my NF on it. But if this works out and pick up more of a fan base then my husband will figure out how to remake the website. Throw in some ideas if anyone has any ^_^

I think that's a really amazing idea, Flutter.
Are all the pieces going to be premades? Also, will you be doing limiteds and taking offers for custom outfit pieces/hairstyles? I think this is going to be wonderful. So many people will really love to see the MPLs come back to life again!

Yeah the outfits will be premade and some will be limited. It will give your lolita a chance to "dress up" I might do separate hair styles and customs later ^_^ I just want to see how things go first. Also...is there something wrong with gaia and photobucket?? why is my sample all large and fuzzy looking? edit: nm its my browser

I always thought it would be nice to be have more than one outfit option for the lolis.

That just sounds like so much fun. There's a thread in here for some MPL outfit ideas, but I'd personally love love love any of your original designs, since they're all amazing. I'd love to have feathered items. White's my favorite color, so having something like that. *o*

I'm all for taking a base something and making it special even if everyone you know can have the same items. /bjd whore
And I really like the idea of special LE items too!
As far as style goes I love everything you did in the past. So I'm not much help there. >>;;;

Mew-chan Will there be prices for these items to mix and match? I have yet to think of prices. I need lurk and see where my prices should fall. I will say they will be cheaper then the originals only because they are not going to be super interactive. Now later on I want to try to make them interactive again- I dont if know that will be separated from gaia though. edit: now the prices will reflect on the fact that I am giving the separate pieces. I mean I know I am going to get people that do not respect my work and will buy the doll and edit it freely even without permission. So in that case a dress might cost 1k-2k (or more depending) rather then most pixel doll shops where a piece is 250 gold. The shop will strictly be for the MPL fans. Im not really out to make gold, but the prices will derail the few that dont want to be apart of the community.

basically my pixel shop will be the couture of pixel shops lol. not the 50k price mark like the old MPLs, but high because Im giving out a doll base and outfits that can be put together yourself, how and when you want it, using your own art program.
I will also have limited outfits and items ^_^

oh yes of course! This is actually part of the "playing dress up" that I expect from this. Actually the new MPL shop will give those people who do not know how to edit a chance to play along ^_^ I dont mind everyone making their own edits, I encourage it. The only rule I will have is that the pieces used that are made from me are not altered in any way that take away the look I intended (this is more for new people) color changes are the big one here. But I will also have outfits which will permit color changes. So I was thinking of selling the dolls as a package. Now lets say you want the outfit but not the doll- that will be possible. But the doll instead of the outfit will not be possible(the last thing I want is a ton of orders for one doll lol). I think I will only sell packaged items since its time consuming for me to pick through packages for different pieces. LOL it will all make sense when I set up shop here are the first 6 dolls- the 1st,2nd, and 4th doll were made awhile ago but never used.  here is what a package will look like (but of course no crazy lined over lay)

I will try to update those asap^_^; and yes there will be boys! I just figured let me start off with girls. I was thinking of later maybe matching couples in a package.
