The only thing that's likely to lead to is trouble, love spells are seldom worthwhile, and often backfire ((I don't tend to dabble in things I consider to be manipulative magic, especially that which manipulates people)).
I just hope none of the more millitant 'witches' about the place find out, some of them are likely to tear her a new one. sweatdrop

heh, i'm tempted to myself. xd i can't stand idiots like her... grabbing a few books off a shelf, dabbling in fluff-bunnie wicca, and trying to sell love potions... realy, that's one of the most distasteful disgraces to the magical community i have seen....

----why the devil would one want to use a love spell in the first place, to quote Asuka Langely Soryu "If I can't have all of you, I don't want any of you!" simple as that if the relationship dosen't work out then it just doesn't, and if your trying to make the individual like you why try manipulation? Let who you are bring someone to you, along with personal effort on both sides of course but still; True love (which does exist, it's not that perfect sterotypical fairy tail b******t people usually think of as True Love) takes effort and only truely exists when it consumes both parties...

Haha, some one who wishes to make a quick buck off of others insecurities. Wow, this world is in hell now. All the same though, the whole concept of manipulation is neyond me, I hate the idea of some one controling another being. It irks me as well and makes me sad that any one person would feel they have the right to control any other person. I might just be a bit of a self righteous individual but, I feel that if you take someone elses freewill you are taking a bit of their mind and soul. You are taking their chance at enlightenment, and at self peace. (Depending on your religion on how you see it I suppose) At anyrate, I agree with Mau, It takes both parties working together. I do hope this rant made sense ><

Wouldn't it be horrible to know that your significant other is only with you because you cast a spell on them? You would always know that they don't really love you. I wouldn't be able to live with that.
Oh and that lady....wow. I don't even know what to say about that.

realy, it is pointless to keep a "lover" by way of a love spell. it's certainly lowering one's own standards.
however, on the thought of manipulating people, i don't see it as people having any "right" to do anything at all. it's all the matter of what one is capable of and willing to do. besides, all acts of interaction are a manipulation of some sort, however unnoticably small. if your talking about not having the "right" to manipulate someone, where then do you draw the line and say what is and is not permissible?

I draw the line at taking away their right to stop themselves. Such as if you can absolutely force someone to do what you want without them being able to even think about it thats not cool in my books.

I'm assuming that it is mostly psychosomatic. You think it works so in a way it does. If anything thinking that it works will give you confidence, and that is never a bad thing when you are looking for love.
