I'm not sure why the post count is low (and I shouldn't be talking) but I think one of the reasons people haven't started is because we do not know where to start. To begin with, what year are we at? what battles should we be focusing on? History is all about point of view, and looking up the wrong point of view on the internet can prove to be insufficient.
Post any help you need here.

That's a good point.
I suppose it would help understand the point of view of the nation you play if you read up on the history /before/ WW2 to get a picture of the mentality of the people, as well as their economic state, the type of government (monarchy? democracy?), how they have been affected by other wars that took place during their lifetime etc.
Should we fixate a year that we are at? Or do we simply post topics with the name of a battle, which would already include the date? How linear should the topics in the different sub-forums be?

(Does anyone even read these? xD)
I would have a suggestion that might possibly help people out? Or it may just complicate things.
Every nation posts a WW2 time line for their own country, highlighting interactions with other nations.
This could especially assist the main Axis and Allied powers, since they probably have difficulty tracking down all interactions with other countries. In general, maybe this would give people an idea of what rps they could participate in?

I agree, the time line idea sounds good. It think most might find it rather intimidating to start his/her own post and this will at least give us a rough estimate of what battles we are to do and with which countries.
Also, I believe we are more or less posting a battle with a date so there is no real date to the guild, it's whatever date you are in your battle. So you could have more that one running at the same time. It just keeps the plot moving a bit faster. This way countries don't have to wait till they are important or for another battle to finish before they can start. So if any particular battle interests you, jump in!

Yeah, that makes sense. :3
So where would these time lines be posted?

These are really good ideas. >w< We could also make more sort of generic time threads, like world meetings, axis allied meetings, etc. Things with no date that people might be more comfortable posting in. :3
The timelines would probably be best in this forum or the main one I suppose. ^^
