Dottie paced the entrance to the forest. He was waiting for Roxxy...the datsi had something very important to say, something very important to ask. Yes, tonight was the night. Tonight was finally the night that Dottie had got up the courage to ask her. He loved Roxxy so much. She was just perfect. Beautiful, funny, kind. The Datsi couldn't imagine life without the other.

Roxxy ran across the grass a fast as she could. She had woken up late from her nap and had meant to meet Dottie now. She skidded to a slow casual walk as she came up the hill seeing Dottie pacing. "Dottie!" she shouted unable to contain herself.

The datsi broke into a grin. "Roxxy! You made it! I was getting worried...I almost thought you weren't going to come...Why are you late? Were you rolling in mud? Did you bring any mud pies?"

"HEY! I'm clean!" She growled turning in a slow circle to show off her clean fur. "I overslept sorry" she hung her a head a bit. "But I'm here now" she smiled nuzzling him.

Dottie laughed and moved closer to the female, licking her cheek. "You do look lovely, you always do. Though, I do like you when you're all muddy, that's such fun. I love rolling in the mud with you."

A pink flushed up under her fur "Why thank you" she giggled "I love just being with you" she blushed again "You said you wanted to ask me something?"

He looked away now. "Ah, let's go for a walk, Roxxy...the moon is so pretty! It's so big and round...I love full moons...don't you?"

Roxxy looked up at the moon and smiled "Yeah, it's so pretty tonight" she smiled and looked back a Dottie "Where shall we go?"

"Sure" she walked slowly into the woods "I've never been in you know, so I don't know" she laughed a bit staring up as the canopy of the trees slowly blocked out the moonlight.

Roxxy laughed "You can brag for even suggesting this" she giggled bumping against him a bit "You know I'll go anywhere if you ask" she smiled with a little blush flushing upon her cheeks again.

Roxxy laughed "If only we could all fly, it'd make these ears good for something" she snorted spinning in a circle to make them fly up then tripped falling into the mud.

Dottie laughed as the Datsi fell then bent down and helped her up, nuzzling her until the mud mostly came off. "There you go again, Roxx. Always playing in the mud. You really must like it, don't you? You're so silly, did you know?"
