Hey all! This is a thread to discuss one of the biggest Zombie games in history! Left 4 Dead, and the sequel, to hit stores November 17th! The rules that apply here are: No flaming, bashing, or racial anything; and put up a good argument! Don't just give us "Oh, I hate this." with no reason to it. Give us a reason so that the discussion can... Well, discuss. This thread is for debate! Give us some!
So, first off, have you gotten the demo fr the second game yet? It's free, it's got the first 2 levels of one of the campaigns, the Parish! The level is set in the area where the legendary thieves Bonnie and Clyde were executed! I bet you didn't know that, did you? I'm just full of lots of useless info! Like the fact that the song "Still Alive" from the ending of Portal is a secret easter egg in the jukebox on the first level! I love that song. (PS, Portal is made by Valve too.)
If you have gotten the demo, what do you think about it? How are those Melee weapons, huh, huh? The police baton, the frying pan, the machete, and much more, including the baseball bat, which comes with the pre-order only! (Ellis and the bat remind me of Scout from TF2, also made by Valve... Hmmm. What do you think of that?) And which melee weapon is your favorite? And the guns, which one do you use, in either game? (Please don't say Shotgun, without mentioning what game you use it in, etc... We sometimes can't tell the difference in games... Okay?) And who's your favorite character, from either game? And who's your favorite infected, from either game? And what about your favorite level?
So many topics to cover! Discuss what ever you want here, as long as it pertains to the game. (Ahahaha, the Game. You lost it.)
But most importantly~! Which side are you on, the L4D2 supporters, or the boycotters? Pro or Anti? And why? Is it because of the price, the fact that it's not DLC? Discuss it here! I'm eager to see your opinions, everyone. VERY Eager.

Alright now for my opinion!
Favorites:
Character: From the first, I love Zoey. From the Second, I love Ellis! <333
Infecteds: I love the Witch. She's my wife. I have claim to her. Other than that, Hunters are my homies.
Gun: First is Auto-Shotty, and from the second game I'm enjoying the scattering gun. Don't know the exact name...
Melee: Frying pan. ******** awesome. Reminds me of Dead Rising, with the frying pan and the stove....
Level: From the first, I like Death Toll, and the second, I think I'm going to like the Carnival one because it reminds me of our failed carnival earlier this year!
My opinion on L4D2:
I'm an enthusiast. I love the demo, I'm totally psyched about the release next week, and I support Valve in their choice to release it soon 100%! The reason it's not DLC is because it's completely new! So, the gameplay isn't changed, but from Halo 2 to Halo 3 the gameplay didn't change, and they didn't b***h and whine about it! It's still FPS (First Person Shooter), and it's the same. But that'snot a bad thing. It's been upgraded, with new weapons, new characters, completely new scenes, new infecteds, and everything! You can't just put that all into a DLC, it's too much, it would overload everything and people would cry some more. I don't see the purpose of boycotting the game, especially because Valve isn't even taking heed to it! There are still plenty of people buying the game. The boycotters say they are protesting by not buying it. So what? Valve has made a ton of money from Half Life, the Orange Box, and the original L4D to last. If some people won't buy it, do you actually think they would care?
Well, enough of that. xD Give me your opinions!

I'm inbetween.
I LOVE the first one, but I'm not sure about the second one.
Maybe it's because the Hunter have short sleeves and shorts, but that kinda annoys me. The demo is great though and I'll probably still get the game.
My favorite people are Louis and Ellis heart :3 (I hate Bill and Rochelle, Bill 'cause he's old and Rochelle because she reminds me of Sheva. Bllleeeech)
My favorite weapons are the Hunting rifle on the first one and the machete on the second. I love the No Mercy campaign and I think I'll love the amusement park because it reminds me of Zombieland heart :3
Hunters are my favorite because you just know that before they were zombies, they had to be HAWT heart , and they're totally pimp also.
That's my opinion.

GREEEEEETINGS YY"ALL!!!!!
i'm all for the game..
from the first game i like Bill and the hunting rifle. as for campains i liked them all, my favorite part froma campain is a part i call "riverdale sniper."
its the part after you get in the church. the exit to the safe house is in the church toiwer which means snipers ahoy!
you can down all the inffected in the streets infronto the churcha dn the street by it.
as for L4D2 i don't have a fav do to not playing anything other then the demo.
i still like the hunting rifle and i like the sniper too.
i also like that they got ride of the unrealistic "hero closets" for the dephib.
and i like how the guns are scatered around randomly like it would be. makes exploring that much funner. biggrin
oh! and as for characters of L4D2 i like nick. love killing infected while wearing a suit.
i liked bill do to his army uniform.
well once i play the full game i will updated this.

I guess I hope it L4D2 has good multiplayer? I dunno. FPS games aren't my forte, unless I play with or against friends. But people around me these days never do. Like you Dana! >;

Tribal. No, Jill. HAWTER. @w@ I can't wait for the amusement park. Homg. xD Scorch: Yeah! The defibrillator are neat! (But in real life, I'd kill zombies with it. xDDD) Kishiru: True that! They say they're going to make it different each time, but I'm not sure. The demo levels, each time I played them were slightly different, like once we had a tank, and then a couple times a witch, and then sometimes the path changes in the demo. It was actually pretty cool. The multiplayer is cool and all, it's just the connecting kind of sucks. Once you get into the lobby, sometimes it takes for ever to get players. Hunter: True that! xD You would know, silly.

Well, I'm guessing what they do is they randomize the special infected or whatever they are called, depending on the difficulty. Because, I was just playing on expert and it was a b***h! >:C

The second game has officially blown my mind.
I ******** LOVE ELLIS.
Oh god, on the fist campaign's rescue level, the group is talking about the guy that owns the escape car and Ellis is all like "Holy shot, LOVE." And then I loled so hard wen he said "If the laws of nature allowed it, I'd bear that man's children."
Jesus Christ. I love Ellis with a passion. C:< He's so moe.
I'm going to marry him, and the witch. Because she's sexy. But which witch, do you ask?! All of them. No, just the one from the first campaign, fourth level. Because she's hawt.
And lol! There are old man boomers too! With like, a balding head. xD
Still, the spitters scare the s**t out of me. Holy cow. Fukken go away. D:<
And Jockeys are just annoying.

And now for my opinion.(Bet you're all screaming 'I DON'T CARE!')
Favorites:
Character: First: Bill. Dieeeeee hard Bill fan. I like him waaay too much. Second: Definitely Nick. I thought I'd love Ellis(As I played him the first time through the campaign.) But then, I played over as Nick, and I just thought, 'Nope. I love this guy.'
Infected's: First: Boomer. He was ******** hillarious, but annoying. Kinda like me. Second: The Witch. My second favorite from the first, she switched places with Boomie-poo to take my heart.
Gun: Gotta say I love the Sniper Rifle. No questions asked, that's my favorite weapon.
Melee: Machete. I just love the personal touch it brings to my killing sprees. Sorry.
Level: From the first, I really enjoy Crash Course, the special Addition. It has so many jokes in it that were fanservice in a can, that I couldn't help love it. The second one? I'm not sure, but the Swamp Fever level looks preeeetty interesting.
My opinion on L4D2:
Enthusiast. Sorry for all of you kids out there who were hoping there would be one more Boycotter, but I'm jazzing for this.
