It had been a while since his last class, he couldn't help but feel excited, and with his favorite Hallowday already come and gone one would think he forgot to take down his decorations. It seemed even more creepy than usual, the candels burning the strange glowing summoning circle on the upper left corner of the classroom. The mass of strange symbols on the board, all curdely written in cursive writing.
Zyane was busy tidying up the papers on his desk, flipping through the gaint tomb he had sitting there. Brushing up on the information needed to proceed with the class. He hoped this time he had an eager student(s), willing and wanting to learn about the interesting worlds their DNA donors came from.
He gave a sigh book marking a page before looking up and then to the clock. He preferred to read in dim light, so he always had the lights turned off and the candles lit. He'd love to have a class just on demonology...summoning spells...he'd be in heaven. He couldn't help it as well..he didn't dally much with the angelic side..though he wondered if he could summon an angel here against its will. Could be an interesting experiment.
He glanced at his watch again...bah why must time pass so slowly? It was agonizing waiting for the students to arrive.

Allete had scowled when the letter came about another class. She'd managed to avoid going to that blasted lab for quite some time now and here this letter was dragging her back there. Damn it all. Her mother had spotted the letter and so Allete had had no choice but to go to this stupid class. She was not a happy camper about the whole thing.
Muttering as she trudged down the hallway, Allete frowned. She did not like this place. With any luck, her class would be one she could sleep in. That thought caused her to yawn. She wasn't sure what this focus class was supposed to be, but it sounded boring. Definitely a sleeping class.
The girl reached the classroom and pushed the door open to realize she was the first there. She frowned a bit and looked around, taking a seat at the back and crossing her arms across her chest. This teacher's hopes would be dashed in this student's attitude.

'Zuba wasn't looking forward to this. She didn't do well in learning environments; didn't they know this? She was much to dense to learn, she was sure of it. But, since it was required, here she was. She took a deep breath, replacing her nervous face with a slightly-uncomfortable looking poker face before opening the door in front of her.
The lithe spawn slipped into the class as quietly as she could, careful not to let the door slam behind her. Eyes scanned the room quickly, making note of the adult, whom she presumed to be the teacher, and the other student. She then looked down, focusing on the floor.
"Um.....g'day, everyone." she murmured softly in greeting before slinking off to the safety of the back corner of the room. There, she could sit, unobtrusive and unnoticed. At least, she hoped so. She fiddled with her hands on the desk, staring straight ahead at the board. What was that scrawled on it? She didn't know, but it made the already-uncomfortably environment just that much more creepy. Great.

The male teacher looked alert as soon as his first studen entered the room of course he wasn't daunted by the scowling look that Alette had on her face, it just meant it was a challange right? He was about to greet her when his second student entered he glanced to Zuba she greeted him, oh ho lovely! he loved it when he was treated like a teacher.
"Good day to you both!" He started off dramatically as it was his style to do EVERYTHING in a dramatic tone and flair. "We have only one more student to wait for but I shall start by introducing myself." He continued as he turned his cape swirling behind him as he took up the chalk and wrote his name in large scrawely letters.
"I am Mr. Zyane, I am a necromancer or warlock as some call me, I know many things about the dark arts as well the world we call hell. I will be teaching you the foundations of the worlds today. Any questions so far?" He inquired.

Allete frowned more as the teacher began class. She watched for a moment as he wrote his name on the board, her eyes sliding over to look at the other thing on the board. Her attention turned back to the teacher as he asked if there were any questions. "Yeah. What the hell does... uh, hell, have to do with us and why are we in this stupid-a** class?"
Ah, Allete, if only your mother could hear the language you were using... she would wash your mouth out with soap.

'Zuba glanced at the other girl, frowning slightly. Why did she seem to be in such a bad mood? There was no need for such language! But, that wasn't the question the split spawn planned to ask. She raised her hand up timidly, holding it there a moment before speaking.
"Sir, uh, Mr. Zyane.....what's that on the board?" she asked, hoping her voice was loud enough for the man to hear. "And, er......what's with the cape?" Okay, that last one WAS a bit rude, but she was curious!

He didn't even flicker a glance at the board at the questions asking about them. He only smiled as he slammed his hands both down onto the flat of the desk top.
"What is the piont? The POINT?" He wasn't yelling though his tone was loud, he was stressing the fact he couldn't believe that they didn't know the point of learning this information!
He became pacing back and forth in front of his desk as if trying to shrug off the fact that Alette thought this class was useless.
"The point my fine young ladies is...well it is apart of your heritage! You should know about where you DNA spawns from yes? Besides knowledge is power! Who knows when this information could prove useful to you in the future yes?"
His hand waved to the black board as if finally going to acknowledge the other question.
"These symbols are an ancient form of Hellion script. They contain power. " He continued, " As well for the cape..." He gave a dashing smile and ran a hand through his hair.
"Doesn't it make me look handsome?" He joked as he then looked over noticing a technician in a standard white lab caot appeat in the shadow of his door way. He motioned for the man to come in who scurried forward and whispered something in his ear. Listening after a moment he gave a pout and a grunt before nodding his head. The tech then left without another word.
"Well ladies looks like it is just us today. THe boy who was scheduled for this class has came down with something. Now. Any other questions before we dive in?"

Allete scowled as the teacher went on a rant about how this class was so important and blah, blah, blah. She could really care less about where her DNA all came from. She'd met her parents and could see rather well where it came from. And she didn't think knowing some random crap was ever going to help her. It was just an excuse teachers used to make you pay attention, she was convinced of that.
She glanced at the symbols on the blackboard when he mentioned them. She didn't see how they were so special. She'd done things like that when she was a toddler! Allete rolled her eyes when the teacher commented about the cape. This dude... needed serious help.
The girl was not happy to see one of the techs appear and spent the entire time that the lab coated person was in the room glaring at him. Techs were evil. Cassi said that about D-corp and she was convinced it was true about this place too. Which meant that all techs everywhere were evil. And that was that.

Didn't they learn about their DNA parents when they met them? 'Zuba listened to the teacher....he seemed awfully enthusiastic, didn't he? But, when would they need this information? Unless they were playing around with inter-planar portals, she didn't see the need. Though, she wasn't saying that it wasn't interesting.
'Zuba nodded, eyes falling back on the script. "What does it mean?" she asked, curious. She stared, eyes staring at the script as if trying to decipher it. She found it....odd. How could simple symbols hold power? Didn't they need someone focusing on them or some ingredient to make them work? Magic utterly baffled her sometimes.
She nodded vaguely after the little announcement. Poor boy. She didn't have the faintest idea who he was, but she hoped he got well soon. Falling ill was never fun.

Surprised by the fact someone was actually interested in what the words meant he looked over his shoulder at them before going back to look at the girls.
"Well my fine young ladies, the words before you are the basic components for opening a portal." He indicated to the pentagram glowing on the floor that seemed to be burned into the very carpet. It was just a plain pentagram with a circle around it.
"You see I have to make sure when placing the words down upon the circle that they are perfect, if there is even one mistake the portal could fail..or could open a rift somewhere I don't want it to be, like space or under the ocean." He stated with a nod of his head, he smiled at the pair.
"If either of you are ever interesting in learning how to summon small beasts from the depths of hell please let me know." He continued before he straightened and then turned to face the blank side of the chalk board where his name was scrawled.
Erasing his name he then drew four thick lines to indicate levels. He then wrote Heaven in the upper top section Mortal in the middle and Hell and then in the lowest section the Underworld. He then labeled the thick lines as 'The Void' or Barrier. He then turned to face the two girls.
"This diagram is to indicate the different planes we have connections with. The upper part lays Heaven. Though it is by no means its real name...humans direved the term long ago and the real name has been lost to mankind for centuries. " He then tapped the middle section, "The mortal realm is where we currently reside," He then tapped the section labeled as Hell, "THen we have Hell." He continued before he went to point at each thick line. "And we have the Void..or the Barrier. The barrier was raised many many centuries ago, it is assumed it was ressurected to keep the worlds from contaminating each other. Of course there are many theories of how it came to be, though they are just theories. " By the way he spoke it was evident he found it all very interesting himself.
"The underworld...is last. We are detached from it ...and no one aside from the dead are able to slip into that plain. It is a place theorized that souls go when you die. No of this nonense of going to heaven or hell, depending on if you were good or not. " He snorted, "Drivel created by humans to try and create moral, if you die your soul goes to the Underworld and it is believed your soul waits there to be reborn. Baised on your actions you are then judged and reborn. If you were wicked in life you are reborn as a hellion, perhaps if you were pure born a celestial. If you balance out you are mortal once again." He continued with a nod of his head. He then peered at his students wondering if they would have any questions for him thus far.

When the teacher mentioned summoning small beasts from hell, Allete perked up. Little companions? That would be cool! She zoned out a bit as she pictured herself in the latest RPG she'd been playing with an army of hellions surrounding her. That would make things so easy!
She finally turned her attention back in time to catch the end of the speech. Huh. So your soul went to the underworld no matter what? And you could be reborn as a hellion or a celestial depending on how your life went? Cool. She spoke up without bothering to raise her hand. "So... are we mortal or something else? Since we're made from a demon and an angel..." she trailed off, gesturing to the board. Wouldn't it be cool to find out she was immortal?

'Zuba nodded, silently concurring with the girl's question. What exactly were they? "What did we do to end up like this?" she asked, though going by the softness of her tone and her gaze on the board, one could assume that she was just thinking out loud. It was a reasonable question, after all. Good equaled celestial, bad equaled hellion, and the middle equaled mortal. Where did she and her friends fit into that equation? So confusing...

Zyane watched both his students before he thought on the question at hand.
"You my fine ladies are not mortal. Surely you have noticed that you age at quite an excellerated rate. That is due to your demonic background. Demons tend to reach maturity at a fast pace, as in hell it is a very kill or be killed type of world. The parents never raise their young often abandoning them to their own fate. Much like most creatures in the mortal plain this forces the spawn to age quickly, else they wouldn't survive. A demon's life span is long...much like a celestials. Your ageing will level off proabably into your twenties and then you won't see a change in yourself for perhaps hundreds of years. Celstials actually age at a slower rate, so with your combined DNA you age faster than a celstial could ever manage but slower than a hellions." He explained.
He looked to the girl who's name escaped him breifly, "What did you do? My dear lass, your soul is your soul. You are neither wicked nor pure, your DNA just happens to give you traits of creatures the represent either extreme. It is for you to decide to forge ahead if you may and become what you want to be. Souls may be selected by previous greviances or deeds, but they are always a clean slate when in a new body." He explained again with a nod of his head.

Allete grinned. So they were immortal? AWESOME! She dismissed what the teacher said in response to the other girl's question. With no other questions, she just sat, thinking on what Mr. Zyane had said. She wondered if he would show them how to summon minions today. And how hard it would be to do that. The sloth girl was not one for things requiring a lot of effort, that was for sure. She was downright lazy. Allete blamed her DNA father for that one.
