It had been a while since Stalet had been home. She wasn't even to sure how long she was gone with Mecho. But the two made it back home, and they parted way. Starlet felt releived knowing, she knew where everything was. But before she went home, going to see Req was top on her list. She missed her friend alot on her trip.
The only thing the stallion knew was that Star was to be gone on some trip with some stallion she didnt even know, to see another stallion she didnt even know, to get answers on life... or at least thats how he saw it. Though life continued as normal for him, his own 'curse' still effecting him almost nightly, he couldnt help but to hope she was okay. That was the one thing he seemed to fear the most when the stallion usually had no fear at all. That the calling one night would lead him to her. Starlet felt happier, then when she left. She had learned to give her father another chance, though she was still a bit upset with her sister, her too. It was like she was back from the black whole of bitterness that sucked her up. The stallion she had met, gave her something for her mother to try and hep keep her cognititve, but all that could wait a few hours. She was near where Req could be found. She turned the corner and then leth er pink eyes look for hte bright colors stallion. "Req~?"
He was sleeping soundly actually in a clearing not too far off, his ear twitching at the call, she had been gone so long, and now grown a little as well so he wouldnt recognize her voice at first, only that someone had called him by name. An eye opened slowly as he listened to make sure it wasnt a dream.
He wasn' there. She was a bit dissapointed. Not that she had an arrival date and and expected him to wait. Her light pink tail twitched and she kept walking, going to checck around the area. "Reeeq~" She whined a little. She had been walking non stop, And wanted a little bit of a break. "Are where are you~?" She called out more. He couldn't have gone to far.. Right?
His other eye opened hearing her call again, and this time closer. Though her voice was different, he would know that tone anywhere and he slowly got up, his body stiff as he yawned. His massive wings flexed and expanded completely, popping a bit as he shook his head and started to walk to the sound of her voice quietly. "Star?" he returned softly as he ended up behind her, ears moving a bit.
"Req~? Where are you?" He was really close but she couldn't see him. She looked around, slowly stopped walking and she listened. She had no idea he was behind her, since he was that much taller then her, it would sound like he was anywhere around her.
He walked slowly up behind her, sniffing the air a bit before chuckling softly, ears relaxing as he nudged her bottom, pushing her forward. "Hn, your blind if you couldnt see me..." he teased.
She looked around and then something with a good force pushed her from behind and she was forced to padded forward a few steps. A shiver ran up her spine, ad she then quickly jumped around, Hearinf his voice, and then seeing him. The look on her face softened and she smiled up at him. "I didn't think you'd be coming up from behind!" She huffed, before she walked over and nuzzled his leg
That made him chuckle all the more as he teased her again, nuzzling her back. "Calm down there tiger! And what exactly do you think you would have done to me if I wasnt Requiem..." he smirked. She blushed a little bit at his words. Luckily, she was able to hide her face against his leg. "I would have run away" She nodded confidently.
"Hahah, well played", he nipped at her ear lightly as he shifted to lay down to get a better look at her, tail flicking idly. "How are you? How was your trip?" he was concerned, almost like a parent would be, but he didnt want to let on too much about that.
She smiled at him and she leaned her nose against his whe nhe laid down. "I'm good. I'm happy. I think the trip did alot of good for me. and I'm glad I went, I think I really needed... I just wish you could have come with me.." She she took in his familar scent. "How are you? Didn't miss me to much did you?"
Yawning again he closed his eyes, just taking in her feel as he chortled softly. "So what happened on your trip?" he then opened an eye, the bright blue hue easily meeting hers. "And of course I missed you." He almost looked at her as if she were crazy for even making a comment like that.
She giggled at him at him and smiles, having been teasing him and she laid down herself. "Well Mecho and I made it up the mountain and he showed me some nice areas. And then we went over it, to reach the dessert to meet that other stallion. And boy was he a weird one, but he gave me something for my mother to try and help her. It was tiring, but fun at the same time."
Making a face a bit he snuffled her lightly, as if to pick up any scent that would say otherwise. Not that he wanted to catch her in a lie, but because he wanted to make sure she was really okay. "And what did he give you?"
She wiggled at he snuffled her. It tickled, like it always did. She tilted her head at him. "a special type of berries. He said they would counter the bad in her her brain, and make her better." She smiled some. "He said the sachel he gave me would be enough to cure her." She would cling to any hope to make her mother well forever
Requiem nodded as he snuffled her more, thinking it was the cutest thing when she wiggled. "Hm... alright... did you need me to go with you to your mother?" he offered.
She wiggled a bit more and whined at him. "Awweh only if you want too. I know my father is with her, so I'm sure she's fine for hte time being. I wanted to come and see you before I went home. "
Shifting to get up he helped her up as well with his muzzle, a wing also moving to help as he cleared his throat. "Thank you, I was worried about you. But lets go see your mother." he knew how important this was to her and didnt want to wait any more on account of himself.
She got up with his help and she blinked. He had changed a little too, since she had left. She stretches out a bit, she felt a little sore. Oh well... "Are you sure?" She tilted her head at him, and padded her way underneither him and she looked out. Her back jsut slithtly graced his chest. The world seemed like a different place when she was with him.
He nodded slowly, wanting to get in as much time as he could with her before he had another calling. He gave a soft smile and turned to look over his shoulder at whatever she would be looking at, knowing it was probably nothing. "Just... want to make sure things go okay."
She smiled some. With her father there thigns for her mother nmust have calmed down... So it was safe to bring him there. "Okay~ We can go." She walked forward a couple of steps and looked back and up at him. "My father should be there with her."
Nodding again he followed easily, quietly. He didnt know what to expect but he felt protective of her, and wanted to make sure these... berries, or whatever, would have the intended effect. His mind started to drift closed as they walked, ears moving from time to time as he just followed.
It wasn't tp long until they could hear the river that the teepee was located next too. Star's ears twitched and she could ear familar voices from those that lived there. She pulled the packet of berries around and held them in her mouth, mumbling up to him that they were just about there. And with him following her, she rounded around the teepee . And saw most of the heard, including a couple new horses there too. "I'm home!"
Once there he decided he would stay outside, after all he just wanted to make sure things were fine and not disrupt the actual flow of things around here. Nodding to her to go ahead he stepped back a bit and settled in the grass, ears perked as his sharp eyes watched.
Starlet vanished into the herd of horses. alot of noise and happy sounds could be heard. Starlet talked with her mother and father. She was happy her mother remembered her, and she passed along the berries which her mother ate with a little hesitation, but Liberty said it would be okay. the affects wouldn't happen over night, so after a little make up time, starlet made her way out from the group, and she made her way back to Req. "She ate the berries~"
"And?" he questioned softly. He wasnt sure how this was supposed to work really, but nothing bad seemed to had happened yet, and things sounded happy at least from what he could hear outside.
"Now we just wait. they have to get into her system so in a day or so we'll know. " she smiled at him. "And it seems that two new member have come to stay here. Madoka, Thats the taller mare with pink, and then Rotom, the orangey, see through Usdia..." She blinke,d find that a bit strange, and then she moved to be closer to Req
"How long is that supposed to take?" he asked as a wing moved over her, pulling her closer. He didnt really care about the others of the family at the moment, it wasnt as if he really knew them anyway.
"Well about a day I think... She shouldn't feel so confused, and feel like she's missing something." Smiles at him as she leaned in against his body. "So now, she'll remember more aobut me, and when I was foal."

He was quiet for a moment as his eyes wandered out a bit, ears flicking it seemed as if he were listening to something before shifting. He could feel the calling, this on was during the day... he had already been ignoring it long enough but he couldnt any more. Happiness only lasted so long... he smiled a bit at her, turning his head before starting to flex his wings. "I have to go... for a while. I wish you luck with your mother..." he said quietly. He was never good at saying goodbye to anyone for anything. And the calling hardened him anyway. He bowed his head to her a bit before pulling away to leave.

Starlet looked over at him. She couldn't tell if this was something he did a lot. He would often leave, randomly, and for no real reason to her knowledge, but she was in the middle of talking. As he pulled away, she put the weight back onto her legs, and she looked down. "Ah, okay then..." This was important to her, but she couldn't complain. She took off with barely any warning. "I should probably get home anyways." She smiled some, though he probably couldn't see it, and she turned away to head to the path.
(We can end this one here~ )
