Ok, when I first started playing WoW I was a NElf Druid and after about 4 months (Approx lvl 40) I decided to go Horde and never looked back. This was around the 1.2 patch btw. Now I'm considering leaving behind all my Hordies and going back to Alliance and I'm having trouble deciding so I figured I'd just put a poll here and see how this works out. Also if you can give any reasons to switch or stay that'd be fun XD
On a PvP server just in case someone says go both ways O.o

Unless you know someone alli side I'd suggest leveling your NE druid and get a feel for how it is over there before just jumping in and transferring. Several people on my server did that and transfered back to their original faction as soon as they could afford to.

Do you have any friends on either side that you enjoy playing with?

I have friends in both factions so yeh ^_Q I know there are noobs in both factions but 2k /w saying "Plis gold for mont?!/" is getting annoying. That and Horde is getting kinda stale for me I guess. Same s**t, different day. I need a change of scenery and jumping in Alliance and owning my Horde friends in world PvP would be hilarious. I know their chill out spots rofl.

Then go for it. No point doing the same thing if you're bored with it. I'd say either level up a new character or only transfer one at first, to test the waters as it were.

my friend transferred his rogue horde side. Until two days ago when he transferred it back, it was death to enter WG when he was on any of his alli characters.
Apparently it was fun for him.

I know their chill out spots rofl. A long time ago my brother quit WoW by selling his original account to a guild mate, mostly as a cut and dry "quit cold turkey" for about a year. He had played Horde from the beginning of the game, and his guild wound up being server first to ring the gong for Anh'Qiraj (second in world too). When Burning Crusade came out, he decided to get a new account and have an Alliance character with his other friend. One day they found out one of their Alliance guild mates was trying to power level somebody, so they sent an email to their Horde guild mates to have their original Horde characters show up out of nowhere in Redridge and mowed them all down with their full raid regalia. xd

Yeah. I had considered that Alliance may have changed a bit since vanilla wow. I'll take everything into consideration but chances are I'm just gonna start lvling an ally toon XD

I had an nelf druid that I converted to tauren druid back in early september. I'm finding my experience as a horde much more fun that I did as an alliance member. So I vote stay as a horde.

I'm pretty neutral about factions I guess, have toons on both sides and I've had good fun on them all. There's good people and bad eggs on either side, which is better for you in the end will depend on your server I guess.

actually, you can make characters on the opposite faction in PvP realms now because of the Faction Transfer Service.
that and Horde is just better so lvl and ally first to see which faction you like better. also take in consideration the community on the two factions. though you may be bored with horde(lol, a rhyme), the people who play alliance may be jerks.

WAH crying really? I need to read the little update thingies when I patch roflmao. I didn't know you could make both on PvP servers now. Hmm. Interesting.
