So, Sere set the precedent, and I feel entitled to advertise here... even if no good comes of it.
I don't know how interested y'all are gonna be in this, but it's a literate zombie survival horror roleplay. Let's go through this step-by-step.
Literate: that means you can't suck balls. I'm serious. Don't suck. Please. Check out my example introduction, and if you feel you can even vaguely emulate it, then please... please for the love of God join.
Zombie: so this means shambling, stupid, rotten undead. It's real-world horror, which means you get to play a human, and the NPCs consist of a zombie horde. No other races. Just puny humans. Suck it up.
Survival: not fighting, not war, not shoot-out, survival. You are powerless against the horde, and all you can do is try your damn best to survive until tomorrow. You may have looted a firearm, but that doesn't mean you know how to use it. I want to see people struggling to live.
Horror: so there will be gore, death, violence, and you will probably have pissed your pants at some point. It's goreporn. You know you waaaant it.
Roleplay: so you are playing a fictional, original character in a fictional, imaginary setting. Everyone else is playing with fictional characters and the views and beliefs of their characters does not and should not in any way represent their own beliefs. In other words, it's harmless, shallow entertainment.

Sounds good. I haven't came across a zombie role play in a long time. I've actually gotten a little more interested in them these past few months. But it sounds like something really interesting. You have my attention. You have a link to this role play?

I'm in. Been a while since I found a good zombie RP that didn't move super fast with one liners or didn't involve super zombies that somehow managed to figure out how to use a bazooka launcher (I blame Resident Evil for that s**t).

Yyyyeah. I like good old fashioned zombies. I mean, they're scary and dangerous enough as they are. Animated corpses. If you follow the old logic, it takes supremely good aim and excellent gun capability to get a head shot, or the speed and dexterity to get in close, and the strength to snap their necks. Harder than the movies make it look. Even then it doesn't really kill the zombie, just makes it immobile. You're severing control over the lower body, effectively making them quadriplegics. I mean, the head shot probably takes out enough of their brain that they're effectively dead... but say you only snap their necks, wouldn't they still be able to bite you? Just saying.
So putting aside the fact that these don't sleep, can basically anything, and don't need food to function as much as humans, their sheer survivability makes them dangerous, scary monsters.
So someone decides to give them a ******** bazooka?
WHAT?
