I can't see any of you, but I know you little terrors are in here. I feel you, and I want you to know that I don't care! You hear me? I don't mind you staying here, but you gotta know something first - there are rules! This is my home, and I don't want you causing any trouble!

The loose cannon of her limited family, Maura has a tendency to get herself into danger. The whole of that family has some history with monsters – her mother staunchly denies their existence; her grandmother communes with them on a daily basis; and her sister catches and trains them. In the midst of all this, Maura chose a slightly darker art: summoning and binding them. Maura has always appeared to have an aptitude for her more arcane calling, and freed from her mother and sister’s moral constraints, has excelled at it over the last few years. Through Gramma's teaching, she learned the risks, responsibilities, and precautions of her dangerous hobby; through several hard lessons, she learned which demons to summon with a circle, with a five- or six-pointed star, and which to summon with nothing less than a SWAT team at her back. All of this experience, however, never prepared her for her first big summoning - the one that claimed her with the simplest of circles drawn.

The brush of Mercy
Caillech Often seen near Morrigan, sitting on her shoulder or darting between her ribs, this undersized Luck Lore is entirely faithful to the Undead Fey. Gaunt and undernourished herself, she understands how one's appearance can cast one out of the pack; however, since her union with Morrigan, luck seems to have improved for them both. She brings the Fey those benefits that she would never seek for herself otherwise, as well as help her understand those aspects of the modern world that she would never grasp. More importantly, however - especially to Morrigan's "victims" - Caillech is the little voice in Morrigan's rotted ear telling her to go easy on this one, or to do a little less of that. Often, her soft words are all that keeps a little disaster from turning into unrestrained chaos. She cares little enough for the victims, herself; all she wants is to keep Morrigan safe.
