i'm sick and tired of POKEMON DIAMOND being my only DS game. buti do need something turn based, that you don't have to draw complicated things on the touchpad, mines a bit beat up but cmon, its OLD. old like as in when DS was first on shelves.
so one of the ones i was looking at was fossil fighters. played the fossil cleaning demo, didn't do too bad, heard some good things about it having decent replay value and decent amounts of strategy involved.
anyone know of something better? btw i'm also still a fan of Digimon, though the first DS game was tedious.

Tactics Advanced 2 is really good, actually.
Also FFIV
Thats all I can think of, really...
KH358/2 isn't turn based, but it has NO touch screen usage. >_<

Tactics isn't really a Final Fantasy styled game.

Kani Tochimeijin FFIII was really good. Minimal to no stylus necessary. I'm sorry, but Final Fantasy III was one of the most boring games I've ever played.

I'm going to throw this one out there, even though you still might use the stylus instead of d-pad. Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon. You don't have to use the stylus to move your characters but some people still do.

Lord of Armageddon Kani Tochimeijin FFIII was really good. Minimal to no stylus necessary. I'm sorry, but Final Fantasy III was one of the most boring games I've ever played. Yeah, it looked like a very plain, very unrewarding game to me, even in it''s original iteration.
