this petshop deals more in breeding then changing. i hate certing stuff so the less i (or someone else) have to, teh happier i am. so no egg stage, or teen stage or whatever. its ONE stage. be happy. eggs might be givin out on special occasions and yes, those will hatch to the normal stage. but thats not very common.
if you are doing a breeding with the intent of giving the medusa as a gift/present, please let me know, particularly like say... a birthday or anaversery, or some other 'date' related thing. and if you want an egg for that let me know and we can work something out, epecially if your medusa isn't going to be finished by that time.
Breeding works a bit different then most shops, though some have taken this idea and use it too. good for them. its fun.
you DON'T have to just pair a female and male medusa... or male and male... or female and female, you can actually put up to 10 (ten) medusa in a breeding spot! this lets each medusa take a little bit from all the parents and you get a greater varaity or color and costume. ... this also means when you stick medusa together that almost all look alike or are the same color i'll hate you (kidding XD) it just means the babies might look an awfully alot like there parents, though i do try to keep each medusa as unique as possible. this also means you cannot do a 1x1 breeding with siblings or a parent and sibling. if there is a trait or costume thing you are REALLY wanting to cary over into a breeding let me know (or one you REALLY hate XD) and i will try to remeber to include it. but if i don't, don't flip.
how many eggs you get depends on how many medusa bred together. medusa can only carry one egg each usually (there are some rare cases, but so few its not worth noting really) both female and male medusa carry eggs.
so say you bred two medusa:
1 x 1 = 2 eggs
now say you bred 3 medusa:
1 x 1 x 1 = 3 eggs
all the way up to ten. it gets really difficult for me to do more then ten cause i have to cycle through all the parents with every egg. BUT if for some reason (a good or funny one XP) you need to breed more then 10 at one time, talk with me about it. chances are i won't wanna.... but i'm a sucker for things X3
you do not get to pick the gender of your babies, and don't WHINE when you don't get exactly what your minds eye expected. you would be suprised how many people do that and it makes me feel like crap. i work hard on your medusa, each one. i don't try to make ugly ones... but i like a lot of things, so be openminded.
so yeah, if you get a breeding spot i'm open to a few suggestions like:
"i love ___'s thrid eye, can we try to get a few babies with it?"
or,
"we would liek at least one female"
or,
"i am really not to fond of electric purple, so um yeah....."
and i'll try to take that all into account. cause these pets are to make you happy, but i can't always control nature you know?
