The year, is 2305 AD, two years before the events of the first season of Kidou Senshi Gundam 00. Celestial Being is in the early stages of it's final preparations, and has just picked their four Gundam Meisters. The world remains ignorant of the actions which will begin in two years, but things go on for the HRL, AEU, and Union... much as they always have. Here are some of the things we're doing differently than the series;
Characters who meet each other throughout the series, can, if the two players want, already know one another. This means that if the person playing Graham wants him to already know Setsuna, and the person playing Setsuna agrees to this, then Graham and Setsuna have already met. Another example is that Souma can already meet Sergei now, instead of when she does in the series.
Characters who are not introduced at the beginning of the first season, can already exist. This means that the Trinity siblings can already be playable characters in this RP.
Characters who are not introduced until the second season, can already exist. This means Regene and Anew can already be playable characters in this RP.
Things revealed in the series (1st or 2nd season) can be revealed here instead. This means that Lockon can learn that Setsuna was part of the KPC before he did in the series.

Shounen Ai is welcome here... VERY welcome here... but so is just regular Ai as well.
If you're playing a Original Character (OC), please read the OC Rules as well.

If you're playing a Canon Character, please supply me with an RP example of you playing your desired character. This is to ensure that we don't get huge mis-characterizations... like an emo Patrick...

This is a literate RP. Please use proper grammar and punctuation... and try to refrain from two sentence replies please! The more you give, the more others can give back!
Check the News & Updates OFTEN!
OC Characters can not have weird made up names.
OC Characters can not be from one country, and have a name from another. If your character is Japanese, they should have a Japanese name. The exception to this rule is code names (like how Setsuna was staying in Japan and had a Japanese name).
OC Characters can not force another character (especially a canon character) to love them. I don't want some random; "Oh Lockon, you're sexy, make love to me!" coming out of left field, please.
OC Characters need to be original, please. I really don't want to see every OC being emo because their character's parents beat them or something. That just gets really old, man.
OC Characters need to fill out the same bio as Canon Characters.
PM me all OC Character Bios with the text of "Gundam 00 RP" in the PM heading.

Background: Born in Ireland, Neil has a twin brother by the name of Lyle Dylandy. When he was younger, his family was murdered in a terrorist attack. This attack killed his little sister and his parents. Neil and Lyle grew apart after that and went their separate ways. As he grew, Neil got by with good grades in school and on sharpshooting scholarships. However, Neil never forgot the horror of that terrorist attack, and vowed to help rid the world of such organizations. Using his sniper skills, he joined the army, but was eventually tracked down by an unknown organization named Celestial Being. Neil couldn't refuse their offer, and joined as the leader of the Gundam Meisters.
Born Neil Dylandy, Lockon Stratos decided to join Celestial Being because his parents and younger sister were killed in a terrorist bombing. As the eldest pilot, he is considered the pilot's team leader, and sports a more easy-going, flamboyant personality as compared to the other Gundam Meisters. He owns an orange Haro to help pilot the Gundam Dynames and has a personal feud with Ali Al-Saachez, who plotted the terrorist bombing that caused the death of his family.

Something hurt.
As the young man's muddled mind tried to discern what exactly was hurting, he opened his eyes.
A green gaze that shut almost instantly when he realized what hurt... and that the early morning light from an unshuttered window nearby... wasn't helping matters.
"s**t..." Neil Dylandy whispered, curling his lithe frame and turning away from the light and toward the back of the dark blue sofa which he lay on.
For a few moments, he found some form of bliss in the absence of light, and the hectic throbbing of his head subsided.
Until he realized something very important...
"The hell?"
Looking around, even though it was painful, Neil realized that this wasn't his apartment.
More importantly, there wasn't an annoying orange spherical robot repeating itself over and over again as a wake up call to his face.
But no... as memories of bar hopping the night before flooded into Neil's consciousness, the young man recalled just where he was... and how he'd gotten there.
Too drunk to walk on his own, JD had been half dragged back to his apartment and Neil, too tired to go halfway across town to his own, simply crashed on the sofa.
Sighing, the young man put an arm over his eyes, his knees pulled up to his chest where he lay. "At least I'm not nauseous." he whispered, thankful for that small respite.
But that hardly helped the throbbing ache in his head nor his light sensitivity.

Rain...
Pouring rain, in a torrential wash the likes of which the Eastern coast of American hadn't seen in months.
Of course, of all times, the clouds decided that a funeral was the perfect day for a downpour.
Still, standing with a blank umbrella, Billy Katagiri wondered just how soaked Graham was going to get before he caught a cold.
'Or caught a little common sense...' the engineer thought sadly as he watched his long time friend from afar.
In truth, Billy hadn't known Graham's commanding officer, though he had spoke with the man on occasion. He didn't have any place at this funeral... not really.
But he had come nevertheless, wearing a black suit, his long brown hair pulled into a low ponytail at the base of his neck.
He had come, because he was afraid something like this would happen...
And because, as much as Howard and Daryl had been trying to reassure their commander that it hadn't been his fault... Graham was shouldering the blame alone.
That, Billy knew, was something that neither of the other pilots could understand. Not having been a pilot himself, he was rather unsure about death in the field of combat... but he had seen enough training accidents gone awry to know that it happened.
In the most unexpected of ways.
And so, in the soaking rain, Billy waited just beside a small oak tree. He waited, umbrella over his head, dark gaze fixed on the blond man who stood stoically about half a football field away.
And he waited...

The rain dripped steadily off his military cap that he wore, and then ran off his nose.
Not that it really stopped the rain, his whole body was already soaked.
Some of the soldiers had worn their uniforms, some not.
The blonde had too, he was now in charge of some of these men, though he wasn't wearing the rank yet.
It was too soon.
He was still personally grieving for the death of his commanding officer.
His ears perked up as he heard whispers from the crowd, about how this was his fault and Graham believed some of them.
He saluted the man's grave before throwing a white rose down into it like so many of the others did.
Walking quickly through the crowd, the blond kept his head down as not to make any eye contact with anyone.
His arm in the sling ran into one of the bodies, he tried to not his in pain or to show any emotion on his face.
The bandaids on his face were slowly peeling off his wet face.
Billy was going to throw a fit, seeing as he'd come out here on his own, on his motorcycle while he was injurged.
His friend thought the motorcycle, was more of a deathcycle, epically in the rain.
Jensen-Dean O'Brady
The orange haired Irish man groaned loudly as he rolled his bed and sat up.
What the hell had he drank last night?
He'd been out with Neil.. and he sang with his band.. but he didn't really remember much after that.
Looking down at his body he realized he was still in his clothes from the night before, though that was better then waking up naked.
JD unbuttoned his shirt and stripped down to his boxers.
Standing up, he was still a bit dizzy but walked into the kitchen to get some water when he saw something moving on the couch.
Moving closer, he realized it was Neil, trying not to physically chuckle, the short Irish man pulled the blind closed.
"Ya know, I drank three times as much as you, and yet you get the worse hangover, brother." he said smirking as he spoke in his strong Irish accent.

"Shut up..." Neil replied, narrowed green eyes glaring in slits at the younger man. "At least I was sober enough to get us both back here. Lot of good you were..."
Sighing, the young man forced himself to sit up. At first he simply held his head in his hands, elbows resting on knees and feet planted on the floor as he tried to still the dizziness that washed over him so suddenly.
After a moment, Neil leaned back against the sofa, letting his head fall backward to rest on the back, gaze on the ceiling.
"And at least I have enough decency to not walk around in my underwear." he commented, obviously having seen JD's boxers.
One arm was draped over the back of the sofa, while the other moved in front of Neil as the man pinched the bridge of his nose in an attempt to force his headache to subside at least a bit.

"You're going to catch a cold." Billy spoke, moving the umbrella so that it covered both himself and Graham.
He had come out of nowhere really, walking forward when he saw Aker leaving the crowd.
"And I thought I warned you about riding your bike?" he asked, arching a thing eyebrow as he studied the blond before him.
'Don't pity him, Katagiri.' he reprimanded himself. 'Act like everything's fine.'
Sighing slightly, Billy matched Graham's pace and walked with him. "You'll have to go in the car with me." he smirked slightly, "I had Daryl get your bike into the back of his truck... so it's not even here anymore." he smiled. "But don't worry, it'll be back at your place. Probably before you really."

" My apartment, My rules. I can walk around in underwear if I want.." he said smirking. " Plus I'm not the one with a killer headache."
The orange haired man wandered into his small kitchen and coming back with a glass of water and a couple Tylenol.
" Least I could do for ya, when ya brought me home... urg.. that sounds so wrong."
The Irish man walked back into the kitchen.
" I'll be walking home then, I don't want your ride." He said pushing past Billy and out from underneath the umbrella.
Graham was being as stubborn as ever.
He was in no mood to take order from anyone, even his closet friend.

Grudgingly, Neil took the Tylenol. He popped them into his mouth, tilting his head back slightly, and drank the water.
Once the pills were swallowed, he laughed slightly.
Very very slightly, since he didn't want to aggravate his head.
"I don't swing that way." the young man replied, closing his eyes and sitting there for a minute. "Besides, if it hadn't been for me, I think you would have woken up in a sleazy hotel with that bartender." he spoke, glancing at JD. "You know, the skinny guy with the nose ring. s**t... he was all over you, man."
Carefully, Neil rubbed his forehead, starting to get some feeling besides pain. He was sipping the water, knowing that to hydrate himself would make a world of difference with his hangover.
"Remind me not to mix drinks next time, alright?"

He couldn't help it.
Graham's attitude and brush off caught the man off guard, and Billy found himself standing there, watching his friend walk off through the rain.
"Graham..." the engineer whispered, his voice too soft to hear through the pelting drops... but he smiled sadly nevertheless.
'Stubborn b*****d...' Billy thought, before running forward, his black dress shoes now muddied and water logged. "Graham. Graham stop, that's not how I meant it."
He matched Graham's pace, holding the umbrella over them both once more.
"You're injured. You don't need to be getting soaked to the bone like this."
